what changes should i make in a rom to make it compatible with my device ???? i'm using sm-t285.. i found a PIE rom where there was written that it is a universal rom... i think it was treble rom as there was written system A-only and other one was system AB-only..
I downloaded that rom but can't flash it in my device.. It was a ZIP file and when i extracted that i found an IMG file.. what changes should i make there?? i mean in the rom? to make it compatible with my device so that i can flash it....

Which ROM is this?
If it's the OS ROM, then u need to change the file 'welcomehead.96.png' or 'welcomehead.192.png' to any desired pictures u want..& should be 640x640 size.
If u've just cooked the extended ROM,...
u might as well take a look at this attached file..u just flash the bootscreen portion. Make sure u read the README file.

thanks for reply , i've customed a rom based on ROM_Helmi_CB_v1.1 (UNI)
as I read the readme, it could be flashed by extrom(ms_.nbf) , so I think it could be flash the main and extrom at the same time, thanks !
To start with, I couldn't post a reply in the topic forum because I am still new apparently.
I am wondering if there has been any news regarding the bugs on this rom? The only bug that I am aware of that is stopping me from putting on my phone is the camera bug. I need my camera.
Question 2: Is there any other Roms that share a basic Gingerbread OS with something similar to sense? I don't want a rom that tweaks everything from looking like the standard gingerbread w/sense. What I really want is a rom that is close to the look of the evo and gingerbread. But something that clocks speed. Any recommendations?
Sorry for the stupid questions, I have been reading and reading and reading and I can't find a single post that talks about definitions and recommendations for users. Its hard for the normal noobs to grasp the lingo in place

How exactly do you flash it onto the HD2?? im new to this and I cant find a .nbh file, .nb file, or a .ruu file in the folder I DL

follow the instrcutuions given in the thread for the rom
you install magldr
you install CWM
you download the zip file and isntall it from the CWM
those files the ruu and nbh are not needed

i'm running NexusHD2-Gingerbread V3.3a on native sd, i need to flash ( MIUI_Camera_v15_update.zip )add on which work on nand, how can i convert it to be able to used on native SD ?
Are you sure you can even flash that .zip with that ROM? One's MIUI and one's AOSP, I'm not sure if it would work.

I had need latest deodexed rom with macedonian language support. I need it to be deodexed to be able to apply some mods. And also need the mk support because i am from Macedonia and want my phone to be in macedonian language.
Just deodex your own stock rom from your country to get the language support you want
Search for various guides on how to deodex but I just extract the system into a tar file & load into kitchen to deodex
You will find guides for Android kitchen & deodexing if you search

Again you can do this with android kitchen but you make a cwm zip - basically you are making the beginning of a custom rom but just deodexing stock rom and then creating a cwm flashable zip
Much better to learn and do it yourself - I doubt anyone here will have to time to bother doing it all for you
