Hi everyone,
Today I received my s10+ and im happy with it!
Absolutely a great phone.
Today im spending my whole day customising everyhing like how i want it.
I have one questions regarding Flipboard.
I upgraded from the S7 edge, and during the last years Flipboard has become a app i browse through every night for my news updates.
On the s7 i just had to swipe to the most left screen and there was my flipboard briefing.
Is there anyway I can do this on my s10+, i already turned of my bixby menu.

The Flipboard home screen is a thing of the past. Maybe what you can do is remapping the Bixby button to the Flipboard app. That might be a valid work around.

Appreciate it, but that doesnt work unfortunately.
It opens the normal flipboard app, not the briefing which i like.

OK, so to the question:
Is it possible to somehow set-up that the Edge Screen that uppon reciving an Email (on Gmail) or an SMS you get an Edge Screen notification (when your Home Screen is dark) ?
At first I was expecting this as a normal feature - but from browsing the new about it, it seems Edge+ does not actually support this and you need to "Swipe" the Edge Screen in order to display it.
If this is not possible to do as of now - should I post it as a "Request" under Apps forums or Original Android Development ? (New on XDA btw)

I was thinking about the same thing today. It would be nice to use it in wider range. The best option would be to set what kind of information are displayed on edge screen(choose aps) and for how long display will be light up. If you have any apps/suggestions we would be grateful.

Have you tried RuggedHunter's AutoCocktail app? Whichs in Themes and Apps section. Or here is my one of old posts, take a look:

What I want is an application which would redirect all notifications (phone in silent mode) to edge screen for example when I am on a meeting. Do not know if anything like this exists but it would be nice.

I think RuggedHunter's app does that. But It also needs root permission.
I have a Verizon S7 Edge, and was wondering if you guys have the same cluttered app shortcut collection button. See the attached picture, which has the + at the end of the collection.
I don't understand why they did this. My Galaxy S6 didn't have this. Does Samsung (or Verizon) think people are that stupid that they don't know how to drop another app icon in a collection?

Okay, I found that every S7 has this stupid + icon when you open a group of icons. This is really annoying. What were they thinking... Idiots.

I went through two updates but it's still the same. I hope they didn't do this intentionally.
Probably a lot of people are using different launchers. I ditched the stock launcher within the first week I had my phone and started using Nova (which does not have the + sign within folders).

Overall a happy S8+ owner, however i've noticed an issue while scrolling in facebook, which is becoming a real annoyance..
I'm not sure if it's some sort of fault or maybe a Facebook / Touchwiz bug,...
So when viewing a post on Facebook with any amount of comments that requires scrolling, using my thumb on my right hand as most probably do...
I'd say 65% of the time, when my thumb leaves the screen i get the option to 'copy, hide, report, cancel' as you would when you long hold on a post... it's really annoying. I've uninstalled - cleared Cache and Data etc with no success. It only 'seems' to occur on the Facebook app, but im not sure what other apps have a similar mechanism.
Anyone else experienced this?/

Same issue here galaxy s8+ Not sure what is causing it. My roommate has a normal galaxy s8, and his facebook app looks completely different than mine and he does not have this issue.
Mine has been doing that since the latest update (ATT S8+ version). It almost seems like the touch sensitivity has been increased and is now too sensitive.
Facebook has been acting funky for about a month now. Is it almost like you're trying to scroll with Spider-Man's powers in overdrive?
I have the same issue on my Pixel XL. Been having it for a good week or even more. Probably has something to do with the app, not the phones.
same here, i blame facebook, they seem to employ monkeys in development. still can't understand how such a huge company sucks so bad at making a reliable app!

I think it is the version of FB preinstalled on the S8. I know it is updated but it feels a little different to what I have on my Nexus 6P. Really annoying
Same here...and I think it's up to FB app, since it's only one with that problem.
Also,sometimes it won't open picture when I tap on it, but it acts as it's opened, can't do nothing on screen that i see...so I have to go step back (nothing happens on screen) once to continue scrolling FB wall...

Try uninstalling the fb that comes stock on the phone and download straight from the play Store. This way it will be a slightly different variant of fb that is monitored and controlled by the play store and not the s8 built in fb manager
Yeah brother you're not the only one and it is very annoying!
Same here with Oppo R9s Plus.
Very annoying when I want a quiet reading but quick scrolling would cause accident react or like on some random comments.

I didn't receive an email but when I went to Galaxy Apps today there are about 15 updates all associated with Bixby Voice
I signed up days ago and today I checked my apps in the galaxy store and saw these updates. I'm confused no voice yet

Installed these today from the Galaxy store can't figure out how to use Bixby voice?
I'm thinking that maybe it's a combination of the software and something in your Samsung account and the latter hasn't been turned on yet.

unfortunately for samsung ... no matter how "awesome" bixby voice will be, they bitter taste of failure to launch on time will cause many persons to be disgruntled.

but from everything i have seen people will hate just because it didnt come out earlier. And some will because its bixby. Bixby will be good, give it time.
I haven't received an email, but Bixby just updated and it included Voice, which is working. Just went through the setup and intro screens.

Same. Seems to work pretty well, based on my limited usage (admittedly in a relatively quiet office, which surely helps). Not sure I'll get much usage out of it in the long run, but it's fun to play around with.

Just noticed a new Bixby icon on the top of the Bixby screen and pressed it and it took to the voice setup too so looks like it has been enabled. No email here still either.

I've just picked up the LG V20 and got back into the Android scene after having an iphone 6s the past year and a half (biggest mistake of my life) but my most favorite feature of all time isnt working, the chat heads for facebook messenger dont work, it doesn't even show up as an option in the settings, and yes i gave the app permission to write on screen over other apps and still nothing, any help would be greatly appreciated

Very weird works over here
I don't even have that setting for chat heads anywhere in my messenger, I've factory reset, updated, and reinstalled numerous times and nothing. It's quite frustrating I love everything about this phone but I don't want this to be the one reason I have to take it back
So chat heads work with a new Facebook account I just made but not mine? Glad it's not a phone problem but I doubt I can do anything about this now

So I had this problem when I got my warranty v20,
Click your face on messenger, It's like top right corner.
Scroll down, do not click notifications or anything just scroll down. They have chat heads off right below payments.
