Premium materials! Hardened plastic + Gorilla Glass 5 is a win!

i've seen that in just a couple of days the screen and the back get easily scratched on regular usage, my friends unit had faint scratches in just 10 days, I guess its the price we pay for fancy looking stuff, the build however is solid , feels nicely weighted and dense

Average feels, not premium type feel for sure

Feels like premium, but not like hignend premiums. The phone build quality is good and the frames seems like aluminium, but the display glass and back glass are little bit of scratches by just normal use,it is the only disappointing thing...

Solid device with a premium feel. The glass back is really nice, although slippery.

Despite my elitist Nexus or GTFO I bought the note because I loved the design of note5/s6. It does feel like a premium device
Had the unit for just two weeks, but after the checking the flash and heart rate sensor, there are a lot scratches already.
Back glass is whack!
My back glass broke after sliding from my dashboard to the floor board all while it was inside of a case. I have never liked phones with glass body desgin. I kinda bought this phone with that in mind and have regretted my decision immediately since getting it. Coming from the S5, I've lost a lot of functions that I had come accustom to using. Also the cheaper build quality of the S5 withstood much, much, more than this note 5 has so far.
its way to slippery i ve had to put a skin on it just to stop it slipping threw my hands ...i cant believe designers not thinking it could become the slippery's phone on earth
Im glad and delighted that the body is full metal this time. Dont' get me wrong, I love my note 3 however the build quality is EXcellent. I know iphone users have enjoyed all metal frame body for awile, but I like what samsung did with the note 5. It looks sexay in the hand and it feels sexay in the hand as well.

quality is great doesn't feel cheep as many Youtubers pointed out.
though I didn't want to do that I bought a glass protector cause GG3 isn't scratch proof ? and I don't know how it happened but mine got a scratch, maybe from dust in my pockets ...
the good thing with this screen protector is:
it solves the polarization issue.
Assuming we do not take price into consideration, the build material (polyesther plastic) definitely does feel cheap and not luxurious like other smartphones. Notch is not something you can't adapt after 1 month of use though.
For me smooth interface with good touch screen is most important than IR cam. Wish they invest more on better touch screen with Amoled display instead of IR camera.
Chuck it in a case and who would know it's substantially cheaper! Build quality is pretty much the same once it's in a case + screen protector !

feel solid with aluminum frame and ceramic back.
Used it in an Samsung showroom feels solid and gives premium look in hand.
I've played with the S10 a couple times now and it just feels cheap to me. My 6T feels so much more solid.

coming from s9+
it is too light and thin. aliminum, creamic materials are great, suitable for one hand holding.
I have the base model s10+ in blue and I had an S9+ before.
I would say that the build quality is better than last year. I am not a fan of all glass phones but as far as looks go it is very nice.
The aluminum frame is color matched and seems more flush with the frame. The phone is heavier due to the glass but rather light for the size.
The camera bump aluminum frame looks better than last year.
Overall it is very well made!

It is plastic but is that a bad thing? No it's not, I don't have to worry about it shattering if dropped. And I don't have to slap a case on it to cover some beautiful light refracting design I'll never see once I put on said case. Does not feel like a cheap device very well made. It is a bit slippery despite the textured back, something similar to what they used on the old Moto G3 would have been nice.
Comparing with my old moto g3 ,the g7 play is not bad. The phone is a little bit slippery, but you can grab it without let it fall to the floor.
Also, I suggest use a case and a glass protection for the screen to avoid falls and damages
Here is my case (Sunnyw brand. In amazon you can get it for just 10 USD https://www.amazon.com/Tempered-Protector-Sunnyw-Ultra-Thin-Absorption/dp/B07PJWDN1F)

Feels decently solid not too plasticy light or flimsily, but its far too smooth. I see an accident waiting to happen (has a few times) like a wet wienie being held in a baby oil grip. A case is a must have!
The screen is good im a contractor and have put in my pocket with tons of bad stuff like rough sharp metal doodads. Its been scratched but holding up remarkably to my abuse. Still needing to buy a glass screen protector to prolong clarity.
The end pieces cap and butt are "crappy" meaning soft plasticy and they are indented scratched but the overall finish paint n protective coating seems to be sticking well to the pieces all over the phone. Maybe this will be a good thing for refurnishing expense.(cheap replacement part$)
Love the feel look and design its a little strange being longer vs wider. I would have liked it just a wee bit wider than longer than it is. I'd say maybe an 7 or 8 of 10. The design and feel of the phone has to be the the most impressive aspect. Could have been a all star with a few tweaks IMO.
