Been gaming and taking some test shots in an ambient temp that's about 3-4 degrees higher than room temp. No heat, no slowdowns. However when charging the phone using the stock PD charger, the phone will get seriously hot (but due to charging speeds).
Well we have a summer now. In few konths it should be better. Maybe they can adjust a soft a bit, but I prefer this over slowing down the processor that will impact performance. The thing is x1 doesn't come with vapor chamber or any heating solution.

Hasn't overheated while running PUBG at higher resolutions/framerates, while charging with a 30w charger. At worst gets strongly warm, but not outright hot. The hardware doesn't seem powerful enough to really cause that much heat, good news for battery life I suppose.

Played 3 complete matches of Pubg mobile and winning all 3, not that it matters... but the games lasted an estimate of 20min each.
The device did get warm but not hot, I was experiencing the tipical sweaty hands from the temperature that it was pushing out but never reaching temperatures that would make me feel uncomfortable to touch the device.
if you're looking for a decent gaming device regarding temperatures, this one is a good contender.

Heat is pretty good with this device. I've used it intensively with gaming etc and it's "warm" at the most. Pretty good heat control as a whole.

Gets a bit warm during heavy session- gaming and camera but not "hot" as compare to others..

This phone behave like a device without a processor. It is cool even when you are using it and charging at the same time.
Yep, I have yet to feel any significant heat over the one my body gives to the phone.
I have seen video review in which after hours of gaming the hottest spot on the phone was 45 degrees Celsius.

The temperature of the device in normal use is normal, it only heats up more quickly when using Quick Charge.
For the time being, I have not recorded any temperatures that would cause uncomfortable use of the device.
