[ROM][UNOFFICIAL][9.0][nx591j/h] LineageOS 16.0 Nubia Z17 mini - ZTE Nubia Z17 Mini Questions & Answers

There are two mini's NX591J And the NX569J so both are Z17 mini with different release dates and ram size my NX591J has 6gb ram and the snapdragon 652 a qualicomm Adreno 510 kernal ARMV8i 7.1.1 android. So, if it loads on the 569 will it work on the 591?
Thank You

NX591J is dead... no development continued...
developers just leaving... now we just stuck on Android N
that's suck... should be change to Xiaomi or other phones
very disappointed to have Lite version...
what a shame

I am using Mokee based on android 9 - it is great. Much more stable and smoother than Lineage ever was.

Is the battery time and camera better than Lineage 16? Is it updated daily?

[Miui 8] [Nougat] [Android N] [7.x.x] *ROM Port Request*

Can someone who knows to port rom, port Mi Max's MIUI 8 Nougat rom to our RN3 Pro ???
I know it might not be a big deal for a person who is well known to porting.
I mean i had Redmi 1s before this and someone ported Miui6 for it with regular updates.
So please can anyone help us out.
Many people on mi forum and xda are eager for MIUI 8 with Nougat.
So please help those people !!!
Thanks in Advance.
Yes we are,but from what I have seen,it does not have features like split-screen anyway. So useless for me.
Use custom rom instead, already 7.1.1 Nougat
@gohil.mitul what is feature difference between MM and nougat based MIUI 8 ?

Precisely nothing. With miui skin over android, even kitkat feels the same as miui based on nougat

Nougat has vulkan support which makes cpu consumption very little for even much more graphics.
For comparison OpenGL vs Vulkan.
It has Qualcomm's hotplugging solution called "MP-Decision" which can totally turn off Big CPUs when we do basic stuff like watching movies, listening music, surfing, etc which saves a lot of power.
It has a better support for Doze-Mode called "Enhanced Doze-Mode" which pauses or stops usless apps ans services when screen is OFF.
Support for latest Google apps.
Support for *Gender Diverse* emojis.
Unicode updated from 8 to 9.

Mokee pie for sagit

hi,
just found that Mokee brings pie to mi6
Mokee sagit
what I found on github that @xiaobai112220 still maintain it
I didn't use it, but I used 14.1 from them, and it was quite stable (and also LOS 14.1 from xiaobai before cozzmy made it official)

6 weeks later, the ROM is very smooth, stable and battery veeeeery good... but SELinux non active, so you must it enable with a magisk module or an app on every startup
i tried mokee 7.1.2 ... my device fly . i ve never seen a smoothest rom right now ( compared to stock miui rom and all nougat oreo and pie roms, even aospa that is already smooth). the fastest and lowest touch latency ever seen
mi 6 is born with android nougat.. if you stay with nougat rom you will get fastest performance of ever because sources are more optimized
mokee 7.1.2 is very stable and has 2019 security patches . Amazing
a practic example : if you buy and iphone 4s and stay with the first firmware (ios 5) the device has excellent performance, somethimes faster than the actually xs max. if you update to newer firmware, performance will never be as fast as first ios. ios 12 is a different story. apple has improve overall fluidity with ios 12, only because lots of customers were angry due to battery throttling and performance slowdown.
slowdown iphones= marketing strategy: customers forced to buy new iphone

I also tried this version. Yes it is very smooth and it is good for battery. However some of GPS apps location didn't work.. I had to switch 9.0 version. 9.0 is more battery drain compared to 7.1.2 but very smooth. Do you still use this ROM?
have been using MK90.0-sagit-201109-RELEASE for a week. Android 9, selinux enforcing. rooted, banking apps work fine.
smooth rom, everything seems working fine, no restart or issues.
overall battery consumption is fine, although i noticed 5-8% battery drop night to morning in idle mode. also even with viper4android, sound/speaker levels are a bit low i notice.

rom suggestion

hello dudes, i've been that kind of user that tries many mods and reads up about every possibility, but now sadly i have no more time for it :c (uni+work+gf+everything else)
i'm running an s7edge exy with stock rom and i'm considering switching to a custom one. actually battery life on stock is still amazing but i miss root features (and i totally hate that hecking youtube premium ad that keeps showing up) and that extra useful rotate suggestion button that came in pie.
what i'm more interested in are speed, battery and ad hoc features (always on, edge lighting, edge tabs): some friend of mine suggested me that pie performs alot better than oreo and now i'm asking: is waiting for 10 roms worth it or not (will it perform even better?) ?
would you suggest a stock rom or a samsung oneui based? is there any actual list to look up for?
ty alot ♥

Black diamond N8 v2 with Thunderstorms kernel 2.3 pie will be good for you. Good performance and battery.
If you want Android 10, Los 17 beta is out and in the coming weeks a stable version should be out.
Error.

For daily usage it performs better with good battery life. If you play games on your phone that stay on stock.
I'm also interested to know your advises. I'm in the same situation

Would you suggest to wait for LOS or not? I mean, it's just about stability or there is some difference in terms of performance (between Los and black diamond)?
(and why blackdiamond n8 instead of nfe? I can't find the difference but the nfe looks more updated, isn't it?)
I would rather go with a pure 8.0 Oreo ROM that looks like it used to look on Nexus 5X. Just pure Android. Does anyone know where can I find one?

The experience on N8 id way better and the experience is more fluid. Samsung basically made the Note FE pie firmware just because they had to because of the note 7 fiasco so the libs are not well optimized. N8 is a lot better imo.
As for LOS. I will recommend waiting for the stable release of LOS17. The beta version have bugs. I also don't recommend LOS16 because i haven't had a good experience on jt.
My go to configuration is N8 with Thunderstorm kernel.

As of now, oneui is the most stable way to go.
I'm currently on los17 and its blazing fast. Just wait a little until los17 gets stable and then switch to it

Hii! Sadly I've just discovered that LOS doesn't feature Always on nor edge lighting, or at least that is what they told me on the telegram group.
Should I pick the note based Rom that you suggested in the beginning? What about OneUI2 or Android 10?

Yes Los is based on Aosp and has no samsung crap.
Just clean android focused on performance and battery.
As fas as Oneui is Blanckdiamond is good.
Once OneUi2 is out for s10 series , developers will try to port it but porting android 10 to a legacy device is hard and i doubt s7 will get a fully stable build of OneUi2.

Looking for a good performance rom

I'm looking for a custom rom, not MIUI based, that runs smoothly and can be used on a daily basis, to play games, stream music and have a good battery life if possible, I'm open to any recommendations, I'm looking to tweak my RN7 to have a great performance.
I am using Pixel Experience 10 rn and it is doing pretty great.

2 days until my bootloader gets unlocked and ROS Miui is the first ROM I'm going to try. It's close to stock miui but with better battery and performance.

It wasn't before for me, with the phone locking up and rebooting every now and then. But now that isn't happening anymore.

PE feels way too Pixel for my liking, even the plus version, right now I'm using RR 7.0.2, the latest telegram version, and at the moment I didn't find any bugs on it so I'm going to keep this one for now

Smoothest ROM? (Redmi Note 7)

the official MIUI 11 I'm using now, and too many trash system apps running in background makes the game I'm playing keep choppy and frozen (or lag?).
the main purpose of this phone for me is playing multiplayer games, so compared to functionally powerful, Light and Smooth is more what I care.
which ROM (and version) is most suitable for this usage? Thanks.

thanks for your kind advice, but seems miui eu is based on china official builds? and miui official build 11.0.1 Android 10 is already withdrawed by official because of too many bugs (source: read on china xiaomi forum). also those negative feedbacks about 11.0.1 Android 10 on miui eu forum...still thanks.
Tested a ton of ROMs (mostly from xiaomi.eu) and I keep going back to MIUI 11.2, version 20.1.21 BETA. Works way better than the "stable" ones, is smooth as fk, crisp menus no lag etc.
I went from xiaomi.eu (a10/miui12) to "pixel plus ui" rom and I don't regret it. I've got more storage available, way better battery backup without the stupid miui battery manager which limits apps by default (10h SoT and 2 days without charge), UI is smooth and so far I haven't found any bugs.
Normally, I don't like to flash custom roms because in time i've learned that they all have their flaws. But coming from an androidOne phone, I just can't stand MIUI anymore. It got HUGE with tons of customizations/features I don't need nor want. Flashing a custom rom got me an extra 10gb+! of free storage. That's why I tested a couple of roms and I'm sticking with "pixel plus ui".

You mean OFFICIAL MIUI 11.2, version 20.1.21 BETA? how did you deal with those trash system apks? some of which i heard cannot be removed or bootlooping happens. how did you deal with those ads?
