Fast charging support? - P8lite Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I use the stock 5V 1A charger and charging time is about 3 hours. Can i use a P10 lite charger that is 9V 2A? Will it damage the battery or charging hardware?

it could damage the phone in the long run

9V 2A charger won't damage the phone because it will never charge it with 9V as the phone don't support it. The charger will charge the phone with 5V 2A and this one is totally safe

So if i use a 5V 2A charger (my tablet charger), there will be an increase in charging speed?

Portable Charging HTC Touch Pro - Need Advice please.

Hello There,
I have a question about whether it's OK or not to charge HTC TOUCH PRO from a portable USB charger for on the go charging...The point is the Portablee charger give a 5v and 700mA while the wall charger of the mobile is 5v 1A (1000mA).
Is it OK or not, and will it affect the battery in someway!!!
Thanks
Metwally
with this mobile charger it only takes longer to charge. the wallcharger has an output of MAX 1000mA. in the touch pro there is a build in charging electronic which limits the current. so dont worry. but there is a mobile charger from anycan with 1000mA output. maybe thats another possibility for you.

Charging problem on turbo charger

Hello friends. I got a Nexus 6p, it came with a common charger of the LG 5v 0.85A, with that charger it charges and shows slow charge, but it raises the percentage of the battery. now with any turbo charger that I test, the percentage of the battery decreases, I already tested with the turbo of my honor 8, with an aukey turbo, Motorola turbo of 5v 1.6A- 9v 1.6A- 12v 1.3A and all these do not charged my device. I would like to know if this is common in 6p. I am using RR in version 7.1.2.

The N6P does not support either quick charge, or turbo charge. This doesn't mean it won't charge at all, but will charge slowly. None of the chargers you mentioned will Rapid Charge your device. You need a 5V 3A USB-C charger to do that, and even some of these are not fully compliant with the USB-C standard. One rule of thumb is that if your charger or cable has a USB-A connection, your device will not ever charge over 2.1A, and in many cases much less. You need a USB-C to USB-C cable or charger to get Rapid Charge. Have a look in the N6P Accessories section where all the discussion on chargers and cables is taking place. There you will find a recommendations for the correct charger/cable. Same goes for a car charger. USB-C 5V 3A.

Thank you very much, my friend. I bought a motorola charger 5v 3a Type C and now it is loading quickly. I ordered by ebay a 6p nexus document. Meanwhile I'm using that same motorola.

Yes, the battery just may get a little warmer. I use a 2.4A direct wall-to-usb charger on mine all the time.
As long as the voltage is the same and the battery doesn't overheat, you should be fine.

Pixel 2 charger

Hey everyone, I was wondering if the pixel 2 charger quick charges the device as fast as the stock charger
The pixel 2 charger bumps up to 9v 2a but does the phone recognise that and charge at 9v since it's not Samsung's quickcharge it's USB-PD? The s8 active charger I have is rated 9v 1.67a?
Both seem to charge pretty quick but which would the the fastest?

Charger

Can i use 5v 2a charger to charge x compact
Always recomendeed charge with slow adapter, not fast. And also do not use phone charging time
Example 1150mAh, 1300mAh, 1500mAh or 1800mAh adapter
