hi guys!
im currently on pa 4.5 beta 2 on my nexus 5... been almost a week now...loving it!.. however my game "ruzzle" always crashes on startup (like 9.5 times out of 10...yes that frequently) and sometimes recents menu is blank...but when i touch the screen it shows me all my running apps..any work around for this? or is this happening coz im on beta version?
EDIT : i might have solved the recents problem by reseting preferences.. but time will tell
also 1 request pls... can u by any chance add the hover notification feature to show up on the lock screen aswell? am currently using xblast for this purpose but the entire ui of pa's hover notification is just classs!! ( when you have pattern lock you are not able to pull down notifications unless you unlock.. So with hover I can see in detail my notifications and choose whether I want to unlock to reply/view or not.

Hi... I have been using Nova launcher since a long time but just 2daz back i have updated to 5.0.1 and since then am facing problem with Gestures.... When i choose Swipe down gesture to Expand Notifications, nothing happens.. But Swiping up gesture works just fine...
Any Idea how to solve this???
P.S. Used Next Launcher too, same problem with Swiping Down gesture!!!!

I use my tablet a lot through the day so I need to lock/unlock it many times per day so I'm started searching for a program that can unlock my device immediately (without using the power button) and I found plenty that can do that but with all of them, I found out that when I use my fingerprint to unlock, I'm prompted to enter my PIN, which defeats the purpose of having the convenience of a fingerprint scanner!!
Is there any program that can really unlock by 1 tap on it, then unlock my device normally with fingerprint?
Another question: Do you guys have notification badges for Facebook & Pages Manager? I'm running the official Nougat OS (Build 351), US Version (Wifi only). I'm surprised because I've noticed these badge numbers on FB on Huawei phones in Youtube but I don't see these badges at all on my tablet even though the badge notification setting is turned ON!
Depending on the ROM there should be a display lock widget (1x1) available (in german it is called "Display-Sperre", don´t know the other names for this widget on other ROM languages). When I touch the widget it locks the screen and I can unlock via fingerprint without PIN entry.

Which ROM are you talking about? I'm using the default ROM which is nougat. I tried searching for display look widget on the Play store but I couldn't find it .

The Nougat ROM with EMUI5 itselfs has the widget already preinstalled, so no need for an additional installation. I think on older ROMs with EMUI4 this widget is not available. The widget is blue colored with a white lock icon on it.

Guys post the issues that you face in the new oreo update .it will be helpful for laggards
I have some issues;
1. I can't block app for accessing data anymore.
2. I have notification sound for apps that I set vibrate.
I'll update my 2cents while I'm trying my new ROM.
No interactive ambient display anymore. No pick to wake up screen
The camera app opens with a blank (black ) screen. it takes around 5 seconds before the scene shows up on the screen.

You are on beta or what? This bug was there on initial beta builds. Camera is working fine on stable version.

I am on stable 12.29 build, not sure why the camera lag is on my device. BTW, do you know whether CAMERA2 API is enabled by default on this stable build? I am planning to use the ported GCAM but it needs CAMERA2 API.

Camera2 api is not enabled in Oreo stable build
There's an issue with fonts. From 4 size options, down to 3. wish i didn't upgrade. not worth it

The fingerprint gesture works for me fine.
But I hate the notifications about app running in background and about displaying over other apps. So annoying. (See attachment)
By the way, I noticed language English [XA]. What is it?
After the update and first start to oreo my phone didn't show the message that the update was succesfull like in previous nougat updates. Do you have the same behavior? Thanks.

1. Would love to have colourful bar icons.
2. Super annoying new notification system.
3. Seems to have better charging system.
4. Decreased smoothness at least while gaming.

I've enabled the fingerprint gesture in Nougat. Looks like it stayed enabled also in Oreo, but I can't find the toggle in settings.
For me the Oreo looks like beta and it's missing a lot of stuff, Xiaomi just rolled it out because they have promised it. Meh.
Fingerprint unlock is slower than previous android. Also cant find fingerprint gesture settings

Where are Finger prints gestures?
Mobile data freezing issue. The indicator shows 4g but internet doesn't work unless I restart the phone. Happened twice in the last 7hrs of Oreo.
I remember coming across a similar situation on OnePlus 3T nougat beta.
I got my first "major" bug in MIUI 12, when i rotate the screen from 90º to 180º in a few programs, when i get back to home screen, the image is "shifted" to the right, icons, fingerprint scanning and gestures does not work properly anymore. opening a app and rotating the screen to "vertical" and going back to home screen fixes thing
any clues? i have all animations disabled.

Global 9T, MIUI 12.0.2.0
It's the Nova Laucher i'm using. Changed to "System Launcher" and problem persists
testing again miui 12, using version 12.0.3.0. problem does not show now. they probably fixed
