No signal / IMEI after flashing Superman Rom - Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Questions and Answers

Hi Guys, hopefully someone will be kind enough to help me out here!
So I flashed my S7 Edge with Superman Rom a week or so ago and loved the Rom itself, however all I have got since is no signal, no imei, and won't read my sim. I've tried everything I can 're flashing Rom, trying to replace efs file (no backup as it got deleted ☹) and tbh I really haven't a clue what else to try.
I did try to refresh a stock nougat Rom through Odin but this now fails due to boot.img ?
So bloody lost.
If anyone has any ideas what to try I would be really greatful.
Cheers
Matt

Thank you mate! ...seems that the firmware I was flashing was not the newest version so couldn't update the boot to flash. Downloaded most recent Oreo and it flashed through dirty. Had to then flash TWRP and new root before installing would complete past the dreaded 'No Command' with yellow triangle screen! (Probably my fault for dirty flash - but just incase yours doesn't fully wipe if you get same problem as me). Rebooted and Oreo installed no probs and both my signal and IMEI have returned!
Custom ROM flashed and all still working no probs.
Much appreciated for the help!

After Flashing NH6 ROM, Wifi Not Working And Device Status Still Shows Custom

Hello gurus,
I had rooted NH3 ROM on my device. I flashed the latest NH6 (INU) ROM through Odin. But even after flashing the stock ROM, device status still shows the custom though I have lost my root permissions and recovery is also stock. Moreover, I can not switch on my wifi at all.
Please help as soon as possible.
If You Download NH6 from sammobile firware It have bug In wifi . but if You update By Phone from NH3 to Nh6 It have not any promblem about wifi
I did the same as you and got pi**ed off, restored my NG8 nandroid backup, end!
It seems like we force a foreign firmware into the device, that's why it doesn't function well I guess!
Dude just go into about phone and give
Software update and it will register ur phone and ur phone will be official again
Update: Flashed the firmware again with "Nand Erase All' option checked in Odin and after installation had to reset the device. Everything works fine now including Wifi and device status is official. Great!!

Well, that didn't help. Because the device status was showing as 'Custom' so was not able to get OTA updates. Kies didn't help either. It downloaded the official firmware but after that there was the message that device is not recognised. Anyway, it's now solved. Thanks for your reply.
What did it show when u gave the Software update in About Phone

It said, "Your device has been modified in an un-authrized way'
Then give ur phone a factory reset and reflash it

Reverting to stock ram after S9 Custom Rom Alexis

So I've been installing custom roms for as long as I can remember but I've come to a part where I am kind of stuck.
I upgraded my phone to the S9 Port rom Alexis and on the latest V5.6.1 I ran into an error that can't seem to be fixed.
/mount/data error in TWRP... I've done all the wipe and repair and stuff in TWRP and yeah it works great no issue and then when I reboot the phone wala… Same issue... No data mount error again and it's seems to be unable to cure so I can't even install any files at all through TWRP as all my memory shows as 0.
I'm wanting to flash back to stock on a GALAXY S8! but obviously going to an S9 port changed my model number to G960F.
How do I go by this? I don't wanna use odin to flash back to a G950 and run into the risk of it completely bricking my phone... Can I actually install an official stock rom of G960 on my device and make it a Stock S9 rom on an S8 or will installing my old model number file make it go back to the stock S8 rom?
Unless someone knows a fix to my issue with TWRP /mount/data error then i'd be greatly appreciated but right now i'm just thinking back to stock and then re-root.
Thanks in advance!

Headphone jack and USB File transfer not working after going back to stock rom

I had custom roms installed on my device but decided to go back to stock rom. I was able to restore the stock rom, updated and installed twrp and root on my device. I noticed that after I did this, my headphone jack stopped working and my PC doesn't detect my phone for USB file transfer or MTP configuration anymore (on stock, rooted). I wanted to know if I have the same problem on custom rom so I flashed a custom rom and both issues are resolved. Although I liked the Custom roms I tried (Havoc OS and Arrow OS Pie), I decided to go back to stock again this morning because one particular game that I'm playing (Mobile Legends) isn't working properly on custom roms (screen would sometimes flicker or go into black screen, I didn't experience this on stock). This time I decided to forget about root and relock my bootloader. After updating, I ran into the same problem with my headphone jack and usb file transfer. Does anyone have the same problem? If so, how did you get the headphone jack and usb file transfer to pc working again? Please help. Thanks.
I am facing the same problem ! anyhow installed lesser and switching between speakers and headphones ! Usb still isn't working !

The only way I could use usb file transfer is when I boot into a custom recovery. I went back custom rom for now, until I find a permanent solution for both. I tried searching for answers at the Zentak forums but couldn't any help there.
Have you tried flashing the raw firmware first than update? It's here somewhere on unofficial unlock/re-lock post, I went back to stock ROM after re-lock without any issues. I did have an issue flashing using AFT after re-lock, but flashing corresponding recovery.img than flash firmware using recovery solved that.

Hi! Thank you! My problem is now fixed, both headphone jack and USB file transfer, although I'm not really sure if it will work for others. What I did was I flashed (while device is unlocked) the Nougat raw firmware (WW_ZE552KL_14.2020.1712.85_M3.10.47.15), tested it and both were functioning. I decided to update to Oreo using the system update feature and it is still now working after I installed all the Oreo updates. I'm not planning to re-lock anytime soon as I installed root and found it beneficial.
I did follow the unofficial unlock/ re-lock prior to doing the previous steps, although I first flashed the factory raw rom (CSC_ZE552KL_13_13_1_36_M2_6_7_P7_userdebug.zip), unlocked and the flashed the Oreo raw firmware (WW_ZE552KL_15.0410.1806.68_M3.10.47.19) . Maybe skipping to flash the Nougat Raw firmware caused the problem? I'm not really sure, sorry I'm relatively new to all these.
Glad to know it's all ok on your part

Yup you should flash Oreo RAW as custom ROMs (Android 8 and above) needs latest modem.

You just need to restore your backup and you'll be fine. Otherwise you need to flash stock with Odin

I tried flashing from a backup from last year, but all I got was a bootloop, and trying to flash stock from Odin yields this error
I have solved the issue, for some reason, flashing the special edition batman s7 edge stock rom fixed everything.
stock rom https://www.sammobile.com/firmwares/galaxy-s7-edge/SM-G935S/SKC/download/G935SKSU2ERJ1/239827/

did i brick my device?

basically this is how it went, installed an android 10 rom, it was buggy so i flashed back to stock miui with adb to fully reset everything, installed a recovery and went back to pixel experience
now the phone won't recognize my sim card and wont find any wifi connections, miui also did not find any wifi connections and wont recognize the sim either
am i screwed? is my device bricked?
Have you used the tool from xiaomiflash.com for the stock ROM?
Probably lost IMEI too? Modem could be broken and needs to be reflashed. No way without edl i guess. I dont know. Needs some pro advice. I would like to know about this too.
