So I need help with my fire 10 - Fire HD 8 and HD 10 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So some backstory, I just tried installing xposed framework earlier in the day. Got an error about app_process64 or whatever so I looked it up and posts said to delete it so I tried. X-plore file app wouldn't delete it and I tried to download es file manager whatever but it wouldn't download from the play store. So I rebooted my fire and it's stuck on the fire logo now. Factory reset it but it not work. I've researched the crap out of this and from what I can see, since adb can't find my device my only option is the update from adb option from recovery mode since I did get that to see my fire.
So with all this buzz about how downgrading will brick my device I'm unsure what version to use. I don't know what version my fire is but it should be the latest I imagine since I just got the thing last week and it downloaded updates when I started it up the first time.
Any help would be much appreciated cause I'm all confused. I looked at https://forum.xda-developers.com/hd8-hd10/general/tut-fire-hd-10-7th-gen-2017-root-box-t3726443 and it lists firmware up to 5.6.3.0 but the update at the top says we're now on 5.6.3.4? So where do I find that at?
Update: K nevermind I got it. I took a chance and went to that page I listed and sideloaded the 5.6.3.0 suez file. Rebooted and fire booted up like new. Go me!

Stuck at triangle screen

Got the triangle screen and following instructions in guides are not fixing it. Heres my scenario. I got my kindle with 6.2 on it. Got it rooted, installed market and go launcher and was great. Then the update of course came thru and broke root. Still been able to download market apps and use go launcher. So I followed this guide
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1417284
to regain root and install twrp. It says root is successful, but superuser force closes everytime trying to open or use it. I can open my tibu and root explorer and everything still gave me root access. Went and changed the MarketIntentProxy.apk to MarketIntentProxy.apk.bak so market links go to market by default. That worked. Noticed that all amazon apps downloaded have a default amazon icon. Thought nothing of it. Went to install twrp anyway. Stuck at triangle now. Followed all instructions to fix and the KFU keeps flashing error device not found constantly and boot status unknown. Not showing up in my devices but I can eject via the safely remove hardware program. What happened? Did everything as guide states and watched the videos as I was doing each step.

[Q] Some Help for my ADT-1 please

I received a new ADT-1 yesterday and I turned it on and went through setup, it took an update of some sort at that time, the device is currently at LPW39. I used the npjohnson method 1 to root my device, this went fine and stopped there last night.
Today I attempted to sideload some apps using the guide that Webstarr posted, sent ES File Explorer and Sideload launcher to my ADT-1, both showed up but when I try to open Sideload launcher it never opens and an error message comes up stating that Sideload launcher and stopped working. When I attempt to open ES File explorer the screen looks like it trys to open the app but never does.
Also I started getting another error message during boot of the ADT-1 that says "Unfortunately, the process com.google.process.location has stopped.
I checked and had a 192.0 mg update so I used SuperSU and removed root to take the update in hopes that it would fix some of the issues I described, I start the update and about 25% into it I get the error on the install screen. It sits there and then reboots back to the main screen and all is as described above. So I have access to everything stock but seem to have some strange issue with the sideloading and the location processes and I still have that 192.0 mg update to take that fails every time I try it.
Thoughts on where to go from here?
I decided since my ADT-1 wouldn't take the OTA update without erroring out that I would side load it and see if that worked, used the molly-LPX13D-from-LPW39.zip.
Well it didn't, here is what it returned. Can anyone give me some guidance on what I should be doing to fix it?
Es File Explorer and the Sideload Launcher can be sent to the Adt-1 directly from the playstore but I think it has to be from the Chrome Browser.

I think my fire tablet just updated on its own despite having the adb hide stuff done

Ive just rebooted my fire tablet after installing some minecraft mods, when I turnt it back on it came up with a promt saying it was installing the latest software or what ever it does when doing the ota, I knew this from upgrading to 5.0.1.
is it possible it was just doing what happens when normal android optimises apps on boot. is there a app to check the installed software version as im not near my pc to unhide and go in and check what firmware im on. I put this in general as it wasnt a question but just to inform that my tablet possibly had a update despite the proper steps taken to hide the ota and updates.
Saw Same Message But No Update (whew)!
For a split second I saw that same message too when first starting the Fire up. But nothing happened and nothing updated. So I think it's still blocked. Even checking for updates still fails.
So I think we're OK!

Have you tried unhiding to see the software version
Sent from my HTC One_M8 using Tapatalk
I didn't unhide it, but it says I'm still on 5.0.1. There was no update.
I saw the same thing but it didn't seem to update. I know the method i provided works for 5.0.0 to 5.0.1. Until there is a bump to 5.0.2 or whatever we don't know for sure if the "fix" works under 5.0.1.
Same thing happened to me but it was 3 days ago. I had been trying all day to install my adb drivers without success and switched off the device. When I restarted it immediately went into an update and I went into a panic that the new update would block the ability to access google play but immediately after the assumed "update" I successfully installed the adb drivers and google play without problem. I also checked the version and it still showed 5.0.1 so I wondered if my initial update on switching on the fire for the 1st time had somehow been unsuccessful and that had been what had been causing the inability to load the adb drivers although the tablet hadn't seemed to have any other problems and I had already downloaded and used several apps from Amazon.
I let it update upon first booting my Fire to 5.0.1. I was still successful in installing Google Playstore and hiding ads on lockscreen.
I'm not sure but i think that 'installing the latest software' screen is the android OS updating the dalvik runtime files after rebooting when an apk is modified. nothing to do with an ota.

That is my conclusion also.
I had this happen to me also. Considering amazon patched a root method I made sure to root and nuke any chance of a future OTA unless I wanted it too. That was a cheap move, Amazon.

Accidentally deleted 'Download Manager' on ZTE Blade L110 - Can't download anything!

Dear XDA members,
Does anyone have any experience with the issue I mentioned in the title? I know, it's very stupid.
I got this new L110 and it came filled with bloatware so I rooted it and decided to mindlessly deinstall some apps. Normally that would go fine, but this time it went wrong. After I uninstalled the 'Download Manager', I couldn't download or update anything using the Play Store anymore. This issue has kept me busy for the past 2 hours, but I can't seem to figure out how to fix it.
Things I tried:
- Factory reset. Didn't restore the Download Manager.
- Downloaded a supposed Stock Rom, tried installing all 3 versions of Download Manager APKs that were inside. Only 1 succeeded to install, but it doesn't show up in my System Apps list and I still can't download.
- Tried exporting the Download Manager from my S5. Failed to install.
I would appreciate any help I can get on this

Removing apps from Vendor image?

I've been on a journey with my ShieldTV 500. My Netflix stopped working and there doesn't seem to be a solution. I was on original firmware 5.0.2 for a long time rooted. Hadn't touched the config for almost 2 years and Netflix just stopped working with the "can't connect error."
Last night I sleepily followed various broken instructions to flash a stock non-root OEM ROM all the way up to 8.0.2. Netflix still doesn't work, can't connect and crashes instantly on a fresh system. Troubleshooting has been throughly exhausted. I cannot uninstall it because it's a "stock" app. Apparently it lives in the vendor image that is flashed amongst system, boot, recovery, etc. Is there a way to rebuild the image without certain apps included? I can't sideload a different version of Netflix because the stock one is never actually deleted, and the install always fails. Using adb commands nor a root explorer ever successfully uninstalls or deletes the files.
The Nvidia & Netflix supports are worthless in this respect. I just thought of this and maybe someone with a bit more dev experience than me can chime in. I opened the image with Ext4 Unpacker on my PC to poke around and found the bloatware "app" folder. There's got to be an index file or something telling it to install that apk and I feel like if I just delete it I'll have an error during flashing possibly corrupting the image.
Going to try using ADK to extract and recompile it then flash again. Will post updates.
Any help is appreciated. Cheers.
