Official TWRP not working for Realme 2 Pro - Realme 2 pro Questions & Answers

I did the exact same method as mentioned in this [site](https://samarv-121.github.io/twrp-3.2.3-RMX1801/), but TWRP isn't reading the microSD slot. It gives 0 MB as the size of microSD and I can't select it. Also, it seems to me that TWRP starts from the beginning every time I boot to recovery as I'm getting the 'Allow modifications to system partition' in every boot. I tried wiping the data twice, which removed the internal storage data encryption, but when I booted back to TWRP, it showed it as 0 MB. I've also flashed TWRP several times, but to no avail. One thing that I noticed was that when I flashed TWRP the first time, it showed success, but when booting to recovery, it had stock recovery. I flashed TWRP again and that issue was fixed.
My microSD is FAT32 format, and its contents aren't encrypted. I'm able to read the contents of it on PC and in my phone, but not in recovery. However, when in TWRP, it shows that my SD card is vfat format. I can't wipe it, repair it or change the filetype, as its showing an error.
Can someone please help me out? I'll provide whatever resources are needed. But please tell a detailed way on how to get them. Thank you in advance!

[Resolved] Boot Loop due to corrupted filesystem CWM 2.5

So just wanted to share this in the event anyone else runs into the problem. I was running CWM 2.5 and CM7 RC2 just fine for a while now and I decided to clean my SD card yesterday since I have tons of empty folders from prior app/rom installs. After deleting some folders, my SD card would not be read by the phone. I rebooted and it sent it into a bootloop. Tried to format SD card in recovery and the settings menu, no avail. Tried to partition in adb to correct the issue and /DATA would not mount for the life of me. I could get it to mount via adb, but not in recovery. Any time I tried to factory reset or format DATA, it would say it cant mount the partition.
Anyway, I tried the latest version of CWM (3.8) and it managed to format each partition without any issues. I could then install CM7 without any issues and it booted right up.
So if anyone is experiencing SD card issues when altering the filesystem in any way, try upgrading the recovery image. It would have saved me a good number of hours troubleshooting, but hey at least I learned adb better lol
I am having the same exact problem, bootloop with no way to access card. How did you get CWM updated?

Can't find backup in TWRP

So, in an earlier post, i mentioned the problems caused by converting my SD card to internal storage. In trying to fix that, i ended up not being able to boot my device, so i went to restore a backup and realized that since TWRP doesn't see the sdcard, i'm in some trouble. I have a stock image that i'm trying to restore to, but no matter where i put it on my phone, TWRP is not seeing it when i try to 'restore'. I've put it in /TWRP/BACKUP and in /sdcard/TWRP/BACKUP (which isn't really my actual SD card). neither shows in the selection list while in TWRP.
Where do i need to move this so i can restore the file? Again, i can't select 'MicroSDcard' from TWRP. If there is a way to convert the card back to portable storage from recovery, i'm fine formatting it and doing that.

TWRP/G6 not mounting system

Hi
I unlocked the bootloader and installed TWRP as described in the tutorials here. I then also flashed SuperSU. Afterwards I booted into stock Android and it worked. I wanted to do a factory reset so that after reinitializing I could install all my apps automatically. I went into TWRP --> Wipe --> Slide to Wipe. After rebooting it asked me for the pincode to decrypt. Since that didn't work I wiped everything except the SD Card and flashed lineage. Since then, my G6 keeps booting into TWRP. I even tried AquariOS (randomls chosen ROM) and I have the same results. I checked into "backup" in TWRP and the system partition is about 1GB. I then wiped it, and it went down to almost 0 I think. I then reflashed lineage and it was again at almost 1GB. So as it seems it is writing something. I then went into "mount" and system was not selected. I checked it and "mount system partition as read only", rebooted into the system, and it booted into TWRP again, system was unchecked under mount, but the read-only option was still checked. tried the same without the read-only option, same result. So now my G6 keeps mounting into TWRP instead of the ROM.
Any ideas what I can do?
Format data in recovery, don't wipe. It will disable encryption. Flash stock 14a again and see if you can get it to boot
I fixed it, somehow TWRP was messed up. I redownloaded it and reflashed it and then it worked

Can't accsess /data in TWRP and Have no root

Something recently broke Twrp so now I cant touch my /data partition, ive read that I need to format my phone to fix this issue, the problem is that a recent update from Lineage OS is what broke it I believe, and I updated from within LOS (check for new updates download and install) which auto restarted, so when I went to go back into TWRP to reflash Magisk I started getting the issue
So now I have no root, and no twrp abilities that I know off, which means I cant use a decent backup program
can anyone help?
EDIT: I don't know if they has any relevance but ADB does have root permissions,
EDIT 2: I found out that I can reinstall magisk VIA ADB Sideload from within TWRP, as such I now have root again
@foxtrotdragon: If you can get into TWRP then reflashing Magisk shouldn't be a problem. However, if /data is encrypted then Magisk may not flash, it needs to be able to place some files there. You'll lose everything on internal storage, but formatting /data is the only way forward.
If you can't boot into TWRP then the obvious solution is to reflash recovery from a PC.

Getting into twrp is no issue, the issue is that TWRP cannot read the internal storage, it can read external fine, but fails to read internal storage, which means i cant flash anything, an reflashing twrp does nothing
im fine with reformatting the phone, but i need to backup my stuff first, which i can not do since no root
@foxtrotdragon: Unfortunately for you, backing up the contents of your internal storage is no longer possible, unless you can think of some ingenius method to decrypt without formatting. Formatting /data is your only option. In the future, you should make backups *BEFORE* disaster strikes.

SM-T580 TWRP issues

So I successfully Flashed TWRP on my Galaxy Tab A SMT580. Two issues I'm experiencing tho....
1.) TWRP is unable to mount my internal storage which shows as 0MB. Thus I obviously have no ROM I can boot into. It reads and mounts my SD card and the correct size shows up. Unfortunately I have nothing on my SD card and I can't get ADB Sideload to work.
2.) Which brings me to my next issue whenever I do attempt to boot it says failure to verify. Which is fixed by flashing that DM-Verity zip file. But I can't since it's not on my SD card and, ADB Sideload won't work.
Any thoughts on how to fix these two issues.
I feel stupid having forgotten to put the file on my SD Card prior to flashing TWRP

By default, the data partition on the T580 is encrypted. In order to install a custom ROM, you must first format that partition. Click wipe then format data, type in "yes" and when it finishes, reboot to recovery. Your internal storage should no longer show 0mb.
ok that worked, my internal storage is now mounted, but my SD Card is not. Now I just need to figure out how to get the custom ROM files and the DM Verity file onto my internal storage.
how can I just flash the tablet back to stock recovery and ROM
so I got everything working, I didn't need to flash a rom, it booted to the stock rom, ony issue that remains, is for some reason the WIFI will no longer turn on. When I tap on it in settings to turn it on, it just says its turning on, but never actually turns on. Just hangs there. I can't figure out what to do
anyone ? I really need to get this fixed...should I reflash the stock rom using ODIN, maybe a fresh install will fix it ?
Also, when I plug my tablet into the laptop, it says connected device cannot access data, and the tablet doesn't show up on the laptop, so I have no way to transfer files or anything. It does show up on ADB, I thought about trying to push the files that way, but not sure if thats possible, been a long time since I used ADB.
