Anyway to install miui camera or oxygen os camera on custom ROM?
i tried installing google camera in google xperience rom 8.1 but its closing continuouly .
please suggest the best way it will get installed so i can use portrait mode in my 3 prime .
It doesn't work in 8.1 ROMs. Either use oreo 8.0 or nougat 7.1.2 ROMs to get potrait mode working.

Can you suggest the best stable rom for 8.0 and also provide complete links of both roms and gcam apk

8.0 oreo roms have common bugs like low in-call volume. It's better to flash AEX 4.6 by jar (Android version 7.1.2 nougat).
For Gcam use https://www.celsoazevedo.com/files/android/google-camera/f/GCam5.1.018-Arnova8G2-V1.5.apk it's the latest build. Try it.

Yes use this magisk module, enables everything but video not working, to make video work just disable the magisk module and restart.

No need for this module anymore. The roms have been updated to support mod gcam.

As for AEX rom or resurrection remix for redmi 3s, they doesn't support it natively, flashing this is necessary.

With new build of my custom ROM video issue is fixed and everything is working fine :laugh:

camera working only in some roms like PixelExperience Rom, BootLeggers rom and RevengeOs.
in other AOSP based roms stock camera app not work only Open Camera app works.

I had installed PixelExperience Rom, then also the camera is not working.
Flash the latest firmware zip it's approximately 48-49mb file
Does anyone know about a custom kernel that works with MIUI 11.0.3.0 Global Stable PFGMIXM, the problem is that the cameras stop working as a custom kernel is installed. Thanks in advance.

the camera fix works with global camera as well. I have global rom and flashed Genom Kernel. (Pie Unified version) then I flashed the camera fix and worked well.

i'm in revengeos (android 9), and i would like to install a gcam with slow motion.
i try a lot of version, but any of these work.
in android 10 custom rom, too, situation is not better.
