Can I enable NFC and 4G on an Ticwatch E Chinese Version that's run Wear OS? - Wear OS Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

So I bought a second hand Chinese Version Ticwatch E and installed Wear OS on it ,but later I found that I can use or turn on NFC to use Google Pay or even install it . So can I enable NFC and use Google Pay?
If it also can enable 4G too , I'll be very happy ,but that's not a big deal.

Ticwatch doesn't have NFC chip, neither 4G. It's a shame that a such cool watch doesn't have it. Ticwatch c2 has, though.
Cheer.

Mine wasn't the Wear OS version, it was Chinese version, it have NFC and eSIM build in, because inside the Chinese Ticwatch OS, i can turn on NFC and eSIM function, but since I don't know Chinese, I flash a Wear OS on this watch, and I found out I don't have NFC and eSIM function

Chinese Ticwatch E did have eSIM and NFC

You would need the drivers for those specific radios in order to use them, and I doubt that Mobvoi has released standalone drivers for NFC and 4G. Perhaps a developer could reverse engineer Wear OS drivers if they were bored and got their hands on a Chinese Ticwatch E, but I don't see that happening.

ANT+ Radio

Hello,
does our device suppor ANT radio? maybe in some kind of custom rom/application?
thnx
You have any link or info on what "ANT Radio" is?
yes, this is a good site for additional info : http://runningdigital.com/2010/10/30/bluetooth-and-ant-sensor-tech-for-mobile-phones-today/
seems some processors are able with ANT radio , but must be opened with firmware/apps
from previous link :
Android Let me start off by stating that no current Android supports USB dongle-type adapters, like those available to iPhones. While this isn’t great news, I’m more keen on native support solutions anyway than to have something else plugged into my phone before every run. That said, to have native ANT+ support we need the right hardware and firmware specs. Texas Instruments is one of the first, or only, to supply chip sets for mobile phones that supports ANT+ connectivity. I say “supports” because the phone’s firmware has to be written to activate the ANT+ radio, and I have not been able to find an example of this yet. The Motorola Droid X contains the Texas Instruments ANT+ capable WiLink 6.0 chip, however it lacks the out-of-the-box firmware to make ANT+ connectivity possible. Even if you were to enable ANT+ by hack, there still isn’t an app in the Android Market that’s ANT+ ready. Bottom line, widespread Android/ANT+ solutions are going to take some time to be available. *EDIT Sony Ericsson is now the first Android handset maker with ANT+ connectivity solutions. On February 1, 2011, SE began rolling out firmware updates activating ANT+ hardware on their X8 and X10 family. No word found yet on compatible applications. ENDEDIT*
As new as it sounds, especially with something like the Erickson being the first to have it in Android, I kind of Doubt that the Desire-Z/G2 is going to have it.
Though if I knew what to look for in the DMESG output I could tell ya.
i have read om some other website that seems also some HTC desire series are able to have ANT radio, but seems HTC disabled it in the rom...
but cant find the link anymore

If the ANT+ Demo app is any indication I would say no. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dsi.ant.antplusdemo&hl=en

Course that's assuming that it's based on the latest Stock Rom provided by HTC/T-Mobile.
Only the HTC Rhyme seems to have it for the Endomondo app.
ok, thnx for the feedback

I have nfc.. x650 028s
rgho. st/6RQm GbPJ4#
rgh o.st/8Gf gjd6xD
Nfc not working too
I have the same phone leeco le pro 3 ai x650 eui 5.9.028s but i dont have any nfc setting and not recognizing a nfc tag.
I'm with the same phone but with 5.9.026s EUI and it doesn't have any menu or some kind of info for NFC
As I see someones here are with the newer version EUI 5.9.028s. Is it installed additionally or the phone is received with EUI 5.9.028s?
Has anyone here tried an NFC app? Like Superbeam? LeEco is a very strange company. You can't use third-party IR apps on an LeEco device with an IR Blaster, for one. So I wouldn't be surprised if they pulled some closed source BS and forced you to use some random system app that wasn't included in your vendor ROM. As to which app that is, I wouldn't know.
Could be that only the official Chinese ROM has the option to enable NFC and vendors removed it for whatever reason, or every LeEco lied about it (lol). Wouldn't put it past them to lie
EDIT: looks like NFC is indeed present on the Pro3 AI... Chinese version, at least. https://bbs.le.com/thread-2397575-1.html
I think you should be able to use the same NFC system app for eUI as the x720. Probably using the same NFC module/set up. But since it's a system apk, you'll probably need root. This is just me hypothesizing.
Following this link https://bbs.le.com/thread-2397575-1.html from the post above I checked for NFC - and there is not such one. On this menu I have only 2 option - VPN and Wireless Display. So for now NFC is just a mith or funny rummor in Leeco Le PRO3 AI X650 (X27)

A lot of Chinese consumers are complaining that it only supports host card emulation mode. Like what iOS did with NFC before opening access to the chip to devs. On my iPhone 6 all I could do was use Apple Pay. I assume you could get past this on a custom ROM, though, since the x720's NFC can be used for a number of things (AFAIK).
I found one Chinese review that mentioned that your model has no NFC: http://www.manmanbuy.com/propj_550071_37314008.aspx
Can't find any more info on this specific model's NFC.
check: on youtube, video: watch?v=9z9ztcWR_s8
it looks like the sensor is there but it was deactivated by the firmware update
please check if possible to downgrade:
from the update EUI 5.9.028S where NFC is not available anymore
to -> EUI 5.9.025S where NFC is present
thanks

NFC option not showing

Hi, I bought LG stylus 2 plus K-535 marshmallow from https://www.thinkofus.com.au/lg-stylus-2-plus-dual-sim-k535-16gb-black
but it does not have any NFC options in settings also it does not show NFC chip in it when I used google play apps to check NFC.
Please tell me what is the issue, should I update it 7.0? Or this model (probably hong kong one) does not have NFC? How is it possible?
Please install Droid Hardware Info from play store and go to Features tab. See if NFC is there.
There's a possibility that variant may not have NFC support. When I checked the specs with LG, NFC is not listed at all on the product page but every other variant clearly lists it being available.
As noted in the post above, if the hardware info doesn't show the NFC chip, and if there's nothing listed in the Settings for NFC or Android Beam then that variant just doesn't have the NFC chip.

Bluetooth differences?

Hello,
I want to help a friend with continuous glucose monitoring. His pomp hardware has bluetooth and it is possible to connect it to phone. But only a few phones are compatible - Iphones and a few models of Samsung. When you don't have a compatible phone application displays error.
So, I edited build.prop and application works but I can't find CGM device. I wonder why. What is a difference in bluetooth module in samsung and one plus 5? Or maybe do you know other reason why OP5 can't find this device?
BTW, here is an app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/...l&rdid=com.medtronic.diabetes.guardianconnect
