Guys i m having a problem..
I forgot my screen lock password.. i was using fingerprint but last night my phone got updated nd restarted itself nd now i cant log in because it wants me to enter the password which i have forgotten...Nd when i try to go to recovery mode it says "software install failed" coz update is not installed full....
Can someone help me about it...it doesn't matter if i loose all my data but i just want to switch on my phone...

my friend has galaxy y duos gt-s6102
he received and update,during installation its stuck on 46%.if he power off and turn on again the device will directly enter the installation and stuck again,I could not enter to the download mood so I can flash the android via odin,if i touch any key the device will continue to that step again
any one can help brothers?

If you can enter into recovery,try wiping data and cache.

is this mean scrap the phone?
If it was an update.. Then i am sure ur phone is in warrenty.. Or shud be fixed by service centre for free... U can just ask them.. If they ask money.. Then u can flash stock rom via odin..

I don't care about the money or the service,I wanna care about myself and the forum here,didn't I been clear with my explanation? I explain that I can not enter the download mode or recovery mode so how can I flash using the odin or recovery factory reset as well
what I want to know is CAN I FLASH A ROM OR DO SOMETHING WITH THE PHONE THAT NOT ABLE TO CHANT THE STATUS OF INSTALLING UPDATE? IT IS STUCK ON THIS ,IF BATTERY REMOVED AND INSERT AGAIN THEN TOUCH ANY KEY IT WILL COME BACK TO THE INSTALLING

Bro i was also suffering from the same problem......installing process was getting stuck at 86%, removed battery then i put it back and started it then ot started getting stuck on 46% no matter how many times i did the same thing.......then i searched online and found 1 post on yahoo and it worked :laugh: it really simple, you just have to plug the charger in and surprising it completed the update process after a while ! cheers mate :good:
i have a510fd was on lollipop 5.1.1 with google and samsung accounts set up . had finger print lock with back up pin set as well . found the official martshmallow rom here so i removed my accounts and left the finger print there and flashed my phone . after flashing i did a factory reset but now i have this strange issue :
when i try to set finger print i set a pin then get a messege to reboot the device because finger print sensor is not working , i try to reboot and still it is the same . then i try to use another lock screen method ( pin or pattern) but i am asked to enter the old pin .. i try to use the one i entered while trying to set up finger print but it is not accepted and i am stuck with swipe .
tried resetting the phone and reflashing it but still stuck . any help please

you should download the original rom from sammobile and flash it by ODIN
if your problem arent hardware , by this method will fix
the rom i used was stock and i tried different stock roms via odin still the same problem
Hi, apps started to crash one by one and i was pressing ok ok ok...then decided to reset phone and now asking for some password 30/30 attempts remaining. counter never goes below 29/30. tried recovery with LGMobile Support Tool and downloaded 1.2GB and installed successfully but still same window. Also cant enter recovery with power+volume down key. says no command. is my phone broken or there is something i can do?

Can't hard reset my huawei y3c everytime i try ti reset it says that data wipe completed and nothing changes in the phone , tried to flash it using research download tool it shows flashing normally and no problems and operation passed but nothing changes too ,restarting twice before booting , when i get into phone after unlocking screen it keeps showing stopped working messages about com.process.acore and black background and no home but i can swipe from up to see notifications and open settings but stopped working messages are showing continously when i try to change any settings and go back nothing changes , when i connect the phone to pc and try to delete any file it says "filename couldn't be deleted , The device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected." with options (skip , skip all , cancel) , can't even rename or do anything , can someone tell me what's problem or whats wrong with it?

Hey, so I have had my phone rooted for a long time. I have a Galaxy S5 6.0.1 Marshmallow.
I decided I wanted to get Framework installed so I downloaded the right files and flashed it in TWRP.
My phone took way longer than 10 min to reboot into system so I thought I was stuck in a bootloop and decided to run my phone through TWRP again.
I tried rebooting but that didn't work. I have my phone's backup saved onto a micro SD so I did a factory reset and then tried rebooting.
I got past the rebooting logo and actually got to my lock screen where it asks for my password.
From there, I've been getting spammed with 3 different messages, one saying that IMS service is down, com.sec.vsimservice is down, and WfcService is down.
After I press ok to all 3 of the messages, my phone is still in the lock screen asking for my password but the phone doesn't recognize that im touching the screen to type. After letting the phone stay like that for a few minutes, the lock screen that asks for my password goes away and all I can see is my wallpaper background (no notification panel either) but now the phone recognizes me touching the screen ( I know that because the LED lights up for the windows button and back button )
So basically I decided to go into TWRP and flash my recovery that I had saved on the microSD.
After that didn't work, I've just been going through a series of factory resetting my phone and wiping Dalvik files and then flashing my recovery. My phone is getting unrealistically hot too.
Btw I never downloaded the Exposed Uninstaller from the forum so I tried downloading it onto my pc and then sending the file over to my phone through download mode using Odin so that I could flash the uninstaller through my TWRP but that didn't work because the PDA in Odin does not recognize the uninstaller file.
Please, I really need help and thanks to anyone who tries, it would mean a lot if someone could figure out what I can do. Thanks.
Since you've tried restoring your backup and everything seems to have failed (it sucks, I know) you should try to install a completely stock firmware which you can download from here: http://live.samsung-updates.com/index.php?device=SM-G900I Just make sure you select your exact phone model from the dropdown menu at the top right side as you didn't mentioned which of the 40 S5s you have lol. And after you flash stock firmware and successfully boot up try to restore your backup. If it's still bugged - flash stock again and start off fresh. Let me know how it turns out. I'll help with installing xposed later as well, first let's get your phone running again
