Bro what about iso and ss(shutter speed)? Can you set both of them at the same time?

Can you post a camera sample vs stock (aosp) camera? also, how's the viewfinder's performance? Is it laggy or slow? I used gcam mod on my mi5 before and the viewfindee was laggy there, but the photo quality was amazing.

can anyone tell me if portrait mode is working?

Maybe this app can help: Screen DPI and Dev Info
Running this command from ADB can also help to figure it out:
Code:
adb shell dumpsys display

New Phone, Same Problems - Awful, Smeary, Low FPS video in 3rd party cams

Ugh. It's happening AGAIN. I pull my new 6T out of the box to find that, on yet another phone, any 3rd party apps that use the camera for video simply cannot take video with a solid framerate. It's absolutely infuriating. Is there any fix for the 6T? My 3T used to at least be fine in apps like Skype and Duo, but on the 6T even those won't ever go about 16fps.
I hate to get rid of this phone already, but I really would like to be able to video chat with my sister/niece/nephews. Nothing outside the main cam app works at 30fps or higher.
EDIT: Could this be Camera2API support? Could it be poor camera hardware? Camera 2 API Probe app says front cam support is limited. Granted that's not entirely explained aside from a very technical readout of capabilities.

It lists hardware support, but could this particular hardware support readout be caused by poor software?

The complaint should be to those who develop to update their apps to support 9.X.
The apps could be using APIs that are no longer supported.

That isn't it. Apps from Google like Youtube and Duo are also exhibiting this issue. This seems more like a OnePlus poor framework issue. Again. Third OnePlus phone, and all 3 WILL NOT take smooth video in 3rd party apps. I'll be shipping this phone back, I need something that works.

I'm not seeing issue with DUO.
Not sure what to tell you.
I'm seeing this with the stock camera. Started last night. Set to 1080p 30fps

This does not fix the issue. All 3rd party camera apps drop frames in low light, regardless of what the stock camera is set to.

It's there. Max 16fps. Here's a screen recording.

It's not a problem in oneplus, most android phones have that problem (except maybe for the pixels).
It's the app developers fault not using the latest APIs and not optimizing their apps for specific devices.
Use instagram story to take a photo for example, It's so damn good, but if you use to take a video, it's so horrible. It's instagram's fault.

If that's the case, a tablet this cheap and running the latest version of Android is a major GO for a vehicle head unit.

No worries. MCU is one of the core parts of any Androids for cars. You need to ensure your MCU is exactly the same as the update you are trying to make, firmware or otherwise. MTCB, MTCD and MTCE units are great for installing mods. Attaching a pic of an example of an MTCx unit MCU:

Might be something like an Allwinner T3 type of unit? Unfortunately, your unit isn't what we'd call "mainstream", so chances to find custom mods are very low.

This is a TS7 unit. TS stands for Topway (like the TS8, TS9 and TS10 units), which is a unit/MCU manufacturer as well. TS7 units have a 4-core ARM-Cortex A7 at 1.1~1.3 GHz (so actually a RaspberryPi 4 CPU). These are the low cost, low performance units. When it comes to the CPU and most hardware, they are actually the same as the AC8227L units that @iceblue1980 has, although the Topway units have a different MCU than the AC8227L units making them (probably) incompatible.

Hello, are you bought this device from Kunfine? Do you have this panel:L10P8-MIPI-SAT-ICN9707_720X1280 20191123 10:26:4608:04?
hello friend .. did you find any rom for this unit ?
Hi! I bought an M300S type head unit Android 11 7862 Octa core 3/32GB. I wanted to update the firmware, but unfortunately I uploaded a firmware for a 9-10 inch display! Mine is 7 inches! That's why the image is rotated to the right by 90 degrees! This makes the product unusable! Now I can't put the good firmware on it, because it says that I can only put it newer than 2022-07-02! Is there a solution for it? Please help me!
Thank you very much in advance: Akos from Hungary

Just edit config.txt file to 90 degree and it will be fixed
