I would like to know if there is any way to enable call recording and data speed in notification area next to notch without using any third party apps?
I am looking for call recording option to be enabled on the dialer. There are 3rd party apps but those are recording ALL calls. I would like to select which calls to be recorded after receiving the call. Any apps or idea on how to enable this ?

Arrow OS has an option for this... But you must be willing to flash this ROM...

this application enable both side recording. install this application on main memory.then install audio_notes_touch-v1.03.open audio notes touch click setting then chek auto call record.enjoy.
OK guys, if you downloaded the apk that I recommended on another post to get Fringto stop force closing, but having mute issues when making video calls or phone calls, this is the temporary fix. Once the call is connected, you have to press the home button on the archos, quickly go into settings, select sound, and uncheck SILENT MODE! then go back to Fring and the sound is working!! Not sure why it goes to mute, but I know we had the same issue with the Archos 5IT and certain apps causing the system to switch to mute mode. Hopefully archos will fix this, but for now this seems to be the only way to get Fring working. Enjoy!!!
this trick can be done during the test mode also, as soon as the test starts, follow the steps above. Now you can have video calls with friends and the sound wont be muted. enjoy!!!
You can also just hold the power button for 3 sec and turn global sound on there.
You can also download a silent on/off widget and true silence widget. they are different functions apparently. It seems like there are multiple sound profiles and some that aren't listed in the settings.
Thanks cablerep...that worked for me. When I try the OP's solution and come back to the call, it seems to bring me back to the buddy list and not the video call screen.

I have the exact same issue with fring 3.9.3.33 on a XPERIA pro.

Is it possible to disable or toggle the video calls option?
Yesterday, a collaborator called me in video mode, I answer him like I do for audio calls but video mode was on.
Because of my job, I have to call respond sometimes late, sometimes in my bathroom, and I don't want to enable this option
Any help will be appreciated.

I am often disturbed by calls in games or other relevant moments. The caller always appears in the foreground as a full screen incoming call.
I've tried a lot and tried out the internal ways to control notifications. Without success.
How can I change this behaviour?

Install an apk of Google Dialer (none rooted) (or if your rooted with magisk install it through that) then open settings, search for "default" and find default apps section and set it as your default phone app. I find Google dialer better as I like the anti spam feature anyway and the notification won't pause your games (takes up top quarter of screen in either orientation)

I believe that would also work, though Google dialer is good for not interrupting in general and if you want NO notification, then enable game mode

Unfortunately the game-mode can't block incoming calls... No matter which app the call is coming from (whatsapp, Facebook, normal calls...)
I guess there is a solution if I would root my device.
I mean, not the type where you have to click a button every time you make / receive calls. Does it have the automatic feature so all calls are recorded without any user input?

Yes. Open phone app, tap on 3 dots on top right corner, go to settings, 3rd option will be call recording feature.

It depends then from country. I do not have this option in settings - Poland
