Solved: HIDE 100% NAVBAR and Turn on gesture on Mi A2 (jasmine) - Xiaomi Mi A2 / 6X Guides, News, & Discussion

HOW TO HIDE 100% NAV BAR ON MI A2
OLD (method) but GOLDPeople now using GMD of XDA or Fluid N.G. to hide navbar & switch to gestures on PIE
However, sometimes, there are bugs in landscape mode of games & apps. Example: Messenger chat head still not totaly on the right hand side, it flying, volume pannel is cutted bla bla
So, instead of using Hide navbar features of GMD or Fluid N.G. I suggest rooted-users to add "qemu.hw.mainkeys=1" to the last row of buildprop then reset your phone. Then you will see it's disappear 100%. (its mean you just define that your phone has hard buttons so android will automatic turn the virtual buttons off). No bugs anymore.
Magic here:
qemu.hw.mainkeys=1
ALERT: Finish your gestures setup before add this to buildprop

[REQ] Custom Screen Gestures

Custom Gestures like these jailbreak tweak on iPhone that I can do whatever I want. For example I can go to home screen by swiping using 2 fingers from the right to left but also if possible it also have an option to hide the navbar or swiping from the bottom to up to show navbar and single tap on the screen to hide it again. I think it would be useful for someone who wants to hide navbar and play games and use applications in fullscreen mode.
examples:
*double/tripple tapping in status bar to toggle on/off the torch
*swiping gestures to open an app immediately anywhere on your screen
*gestures on the status bar to open power buttons(for people who doesn't want to press the button from behind)
I don't know if there was/were an application/mod/rom that have this tweak, but if it is available now, can someone link me to that tweak thread?
Thanks

[HOW-TO] Play games in full screen on the fly with expanded desktop + pie controls

If you're anything like me, you love the nav bar but HATE it when you're gaming. Well I just stumbled across a solution that made me the happiest person in the world. In this guide I will show you how to add a toggle to your quicksettings that will hide the navbar and give you pie controls on demand for full screen gaming or whenever you just want to ditch the navbar easily.
This method requires root, Xposed framework + GravityBox.
*I AM NOT RESPONSIBLE IF YOU SCREW UP YOUR PHONE*
***Remember, if you haven't used MotoWpNoMo, you need to boot through recovery in order to make any changes to your system, including installing Xposed.***
If you haven't already, download + install Xposed Framework.
Refer to this thread for framework + install instructions- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1574401
Download + install GravityBox and enable it in the Xposed Installer.
For 4.2 use this version- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2316070
For 4.4 use this one- http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2554049
Open GravityBox and go to Display tweaks. Enable Expanded desktop mode and set it to hide navigation bar (you can set it to hide the status bar as well if you like but this is not necessary to go full screen for gaming)
Go to Statusbar tweaks and hit Pie controls. Enable pie controls with the "when expanded desktop is on" setting. Now click Trigger positions and check the bottom and right border options. It would be wise to also shrink the trigger size down, so you don't accidentally hit it. I have mine set at 2px and you basically need to swipe in from the edge to bring up the pie.
Also in Statusbar tweaks, go to QuickSettings management and then Statusbar Quicksettings tiles. Select/deselect whatever tiles you want or don't want, just make sure that Expanded Desktop is selected.
if you enable the advanced reboot menu (power tweaks), you can toggle expanded desktop from there as well
Reboot your phone normally
Once this is all done, you can pull down your quicksettings shade and just hit the Expanded desktop toggle and your navbar will magically disappear and get replaced with pie controls. When done gaming, hit the toggle again and your navbar will reappear.
Bump for the gamers!

[SOFT MOD] GMD softkeys

Hello pals, wanted to share this
Its great for recovering some precious screen space. It works wonders for me
Its called GMD Auto Soft Keys, for me, its the best alternative to all the other soft button mods.
Hope you like it
Link is here
Tried it, horrible option if you like to play games.

How is it horrible when playing games?
Smart Statusbar is one solution. When in a full screen app / game, drag down from top of the screen as if checking a notification. You really only need to do this very slightly, just enough to make the status bar appear, and you will notice the GMD Auto Soft Keys indicator will reappear at the bottom also.
another option is button savior, but i prefer GMD,
GMD can hide the statusbar and the nav bar, without any build prop editing.
gaming is ok for me, just remember where your hotspot is and swipe there, y leave the hotspot in dead center so i can put it small and wouldn't interfere with games.
I also like GMD. It seems to be almost the same as ultimate dynamic nav bar xposed module but for me GMD is better because you can turn off the notification that stops a pull down on status bar going direct to my quick setting.
Here is another mod to free up some screen space.
Hidden but expandable Status Bar
If anyone makes this for Moto G, be sure to post it in 'Themes and Apps.'

I use GMD on other devices and only have praise for it
I purchased GMD last night and it was definitely worth it! My phone looks great now! I also have most apps set to fullscreen mode with Appsetting in Xposed so that hides the status bar. A quick swipe down from the top of the screen will reveal a semi-transparent status bar for a few seconds.
Some images for comparison (1st: Normal, 2nd: Swipe up from bottom, 3rd: Swipe down from top.):
GMD plus Pie Controls for me

Disable Navbar

Is there any way to disable the navbar for a full screen navigation. I have immersive mode on but when I swipe up from the bottom it still pops up. That's what I want to dis able. I already have an alternative installed and it works very well. I'm on Oreo beta so no root sadly.

Solved navbar not responding

So, my navbar on my MXPE stop responding, I restored many backups, only thing that would slightly work is have display at the largest.
Then I came up with an idea I will us navigation gestures app granted root, went through the setup, disabled navbar and enabled the nav gestures app, navigation works with the app, so I disabled the navbar gest app and renabled my navbar, the navigation soft buttons now work. responsive now.
I know its years late but
Where do I get navigation gestures app
