Hard Brick LG Optimus L7 P700 - Optimus L3, L5, L7 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hey, how are you?
Well, I tell you my problem.
It turns out that some time ago I was damaged and my LG P700 logo with its ROM Stock stuck in me, after that I tried to flahear with the KDZ but when I had been flashing for a while I cut the light and the cell phone stayed on Emergency mode and I turned off the rage and save it a few days ago I connected it to the PC and in the Device Manager it appeared as Unknown Device and it did not turn on neither in Emergency Mode nor in Recovery or in anything, inquiring for this same forum. I realized that it was a Hard Brick and I want to know how to do it with this phone model. I would appreciate all the help possible. On the PC I have Win 10 Pro and I have the latest LG drivers and the Unknown Device still appears in the Device Manager.
I have tried all the possible combinations, I charged the battery completely with a universal charger, I have left the phone connected to the PC more than 5 hours, I have kept the power button on the phone for around 15 minutes and none of them has worked for me. Please help me.
Excuse my English, I'm from Venezuela and well

L7 dead !!!

i tried to update via LGMobile Support Tool but it stuck at 4% and i pull out the usb ... and my phone didn't opened anymore since then(black screen)... i think is bricked...i tried to connect in emergency mode without battery and volum key but nothing ... the pc sees " LGE android platform USB serial port (com5)" in device manager, but when i try to update with KDZ_FW_UPD it says that the phone isn't connected...
any ideas would be helpfull... thx
last option will be jtag in an authorized service...
L.E. I've tried with B2CAppSetup and pc recognize my device as p705 with software v20b but i can't do anything ...
I have the same EXACT problem! The 4% thing happened to me too. But in my case I own a LG Optimus L5 (very similar).
So far, no solution. I did, however, found some light in a post in cyanogenmod forums. I can't post the link, but search for "Hard Brick - To Hell And Back - Guide To Recovery".
Using that software we should be able to rewrite the firmware. Please, take a look, we can pull this off if we help each other.
The problem is that the firmware of the LG Optimus L5/L7 does not contains the same filenames requested by the software, so I'm stuck there.
Last resource: using the "riff box jtag", but it's expensive (for me) and I have to buy it abroad, since I'm from Argentina.
Did you managed something else?
dont worry try again install stock firmware on LG support tool, dont worry if it stops on 4% i had this too, maybe after 10 min it will load 5% and then no stops anymore.
sorry for bad english
The problem is that LG Support tool won't recognize my phone anymore it won't even turn on.

Can't unbrick Optimus l5

Hello, I ran into a problematic brick on my L5...nothing seems to work to unbrick it.
I followed the guides step by step using the KDZ updater and the appropriate firmware for my country, but it doesn't work.
How I bricked it:
I had CM10 installed and perfectly running for a month, so today I decided to attempt an overclock to speed the device up a bit.
So, I downloaded and installed the modded kernel, flashed it using CWM and rebooted the device. After that, the device just keep booting up, showing the LG logo and then a black screen.
Now, after trying to flash the old firmware after going into download mode it just stops on the LG logo with the flare (sun ray effect) spinning around the logo all the time...It's been like that for almost 30 minutes now. I attempted re-flashing it 3 times but nothing seems to work.
What do I do?
Thank you in advance.
It's bootloop. When I had L5 I had the same problem after flashing bricked phone via KDZ.
Do hard reset with key combination. It worked for me. Phone will boot up few minutes.

This is what I get when I connect the phone by USB.
I just cant get into emergency, DIAG or emergency CS
KDZ the phone connects and then I get a message afterwards PHONE NOT FOUND.
everytime I install the drivers by LG support tool, it keeps giving me the option to install the driver, like I havent done it a hundred times over.
I think there should be a driver somewhere that can be installed but the only people that have this driver are LG tech's. So they can bill you after
send the phone in cause you rooted it. So the one billion dollar question is witch hero will find a way to unbrick this device. We only need a way
to get a driver to install and we are home free. Or maybe the only other option is throwing the phone for sale on internet for spare parts
HELP PLEASE HELP find a way to unbrick this phone. Believe me I flashed and bricked alot of different phones and there was a way out but in
with this phone it seems impossible!!
And there is no mode to put it in in because te volume buttons don't do crap, the home button also, the only time that the phone does show up is when windows tells me it has an unknown device that I for the love of god can't find a driver for. I tried SDK, the LG drivers, but no dice
Did you try emergency mode? (volume up + volume down + power button)
If not, see if you can enter it and then flashing your stock firmware with Software update [KDZ] 1.0.4.4 (KDZ-Flasher).

While you wait for an answer make sure your phone is kept charged.
Have you tried LG flashtool and your stock ROM?
make sure it's off, hold the VOLUME UP button while plugging it into your computer, and that should get it into download mode.
Next try using the TOT method (google it) and voila!
Yeah the problem is that i can't even reach the download mode and my computer doesn't recognize my phone it's just an qshub device. ;(
I had the same issue bricking my lg g2 and i was stuck with the logo and nothing more not even download mode, recovery etc...
The way i got it to stock was i installed the lg g2 drivers and from there on just flashed it with flashtools kdz and got it workking again i think this shoould help you out just plug your phone and install the drivers and use flashtools
Install this driver then report me back or cap screen device manager to me.I will help you for fee.

Were you using a custom recovery? (i.e. TWRP)? If so, are you able to boot into recovery? It was a few years ago but whenever that happened to me I would have to use the hard reset option. If I remember correctly, on my LGG2, I would hold down the power button and the volume down button at the same time until the LG logo appears, then right when it appears, release and re-press both buttons again holding them down again until the hard reset option showed. Then when it asked me if I was sure I wanted to reset my phone, select yes (it made nervous the first ten times or so). Eventually I began to trust it would, in fact, do what I was informed it would do which was boot into TWRP without actually resetting anything. From there I was always able to flash a new ROM etc. Anyway, if you knew all that sorry, just trying to help. If not, please get second opinions since I will not be held responsible for your device and since it's been years since I tinkered with mine. Having a Samsung now, I don't mess with it cause rooting a Samsung Note trips Knox and then Samsung Pay is disabled.
Anyway, happy flashing and best of luck to you. It was an awesome hobby while I was involved with it.
Cheers!
