I want to make my Sprint HTC 10 as close to a Pixel as I can. Which ROM should I use? Is Lineage the best bet?

Hi, mate.
If you want customizable, buy an android. But if you want some phone that you could not change anything to, buy a trophy. except the main screen, where you can change the big icons in any order you want, the rest stays where it is. nothing can be changed ...... but there's one thing great about this win 7: everything is where it should be and it's very easy to use. Yes, to turn on or off wifi i have to press 5 times, for instance. But if you play with it for 1 or 2 days you'll see that it's a very easy device to play with .... everything is one click away .
I have a desire (wife using it for the moment) and i'm not sure i'll get back on desire after had this trophy for a week.
Good luck.
G.
I have both devices. HTC Trophy's performance it better than a WP7 rom flashed on an HD2. I like both devices but the Trophy is my #1!
My wife uses the HD2 now...also with a WP7 rom flashed on it (She likes the simplicity and metro-ui with live-tiles)
If you get a trophy make sure it's developer unlocked before upgrading to NODO via Zune. That way it is still unlocked with NODO installed and you can sideload apps.

is there a hd2 rom like htc one stocck?

Hello! can anyone tell me if there Is there is an android hd2 rom like htc one stocck?
im not sure if the htc one is even running androind but I saw the commercial for htc one and the interface looked quite different.
I was hopeing to get try something like that on the hd2?
The HTC One is running Android (4.something jellybean), with Sense 5 on top of it as a skin. Currently, there are no Sense 5 ROMs available for the HD2 nor have I seen a "sense-5-themed" Rom.
I think the closest you can get is a launcher with Sense 5 theme, and Sense 5 theme for CM10 or 9. MIUI ROMs have a huge variety when it comes to themes, it is likely to find sense 5 theme there, I give you no guarantee though.
Good luck

[Q] I need stock android on my 8 inch

When do you guys think a rom for stock android will come for these tablets im not a big fan of touchwiz and its hard to use without stock?
We need a recovery first, once that happens, if there is someone around here with the ability to create or port an AOSP or AOKP style rom, then we'll be in business. It doesn't help that the 7.0 has a completely different chipset than the 8.0/10.1 versions so that's just extra development that has to take place.
Sent from my HTC One_M8
Don't worry, developers will provide us with custom rome and recoveries soon, especially from Germany I think (T-Mobile made an price error in their shop, and after some pressure about 10000 devices were shipped, for about 110 euros each :laugh
Stock android? Never. When have you ever heard of a phone thats not a nexus or google play edition running pure stock vanilla android? Never.
It happens all the time. "Stock" is subjective but one could argue AOSP/AOKP are very close to stock...

How about building HTC Sense Rom

Guys i am a big fan of HTC Sense.
I am not a developer but i if anyone wants to build a new ROM just giving a suggestion how about building a Sense ROM.
I even tried porting HTC Blinkfeed that is available for CM Roms but it doesnt give pure experience of Sense Rom's.
Anyone interested ?
Just got my new OP2, coming from HTC One M8 and decided against an M9 because of the Hardware.
But I'd be really looking forward to a Sense ROM for the OP2, they still got the best UX imho.
Just let me know if someone gives it a try...
Have you tired Xpirt's port of Sense 7 on non rooted devices?

Yes, Same here.
I was Using HTC phones from last 4 years and there Sense Rom's are awesome. Tons of features and customization.
I always used the Team Venom's Rom and they work flawlessly.
if anyone can port the complete Sense 7 on Oneplus 2 that will be awesome.

Yes i have tried that port.
It is good but dont works properly on Oxygen Rom and CM is also not stable yet for our OP2
That port doesn't give complete HTC Sense experience.
This would be incredible.
Someone should ask mike1986 if that's possible.
I've had HTC One phones for the last 3 or 4 years..... I always rooted and used either a GPe ROM or my favorite HTC ROM/maker = ViperOne, but usually the non-sense version, and then I used Nova to make it as close to GPe as possible, but still had the Sense apps. Not a big fan of BlinkFeed, but loved the camera, gallery, and music player......Which I found these 3 apps here on XDA, but the camera and music player are a little buggy on my OP2.
Hi guys, I'm reading this thread and I'm in the same position.
I had only HTC from many years: Desire, Sensation, One M7, One E8 (dual sim).
HTC sense, high end phones, very nice design... This was HTC for me in past.
I was in love with HTC, but now I decided to buy OP2.
Reasons:
- I need dual sim
- Hardware/price
- I really like to customize my phones with roms, kernels...
A dual sim flagship is not usual. If you buy a S6 dual sim (or other highend unit), you are buying a version of the phone, so no roms availables...
If a Sense rom appears... I'm sure I will use it
Until there's a Sense based ROM (not sure there ever will be?), here's a link to some of the Sense apps/launcher: http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/htc-blinkfeed-plugins-devices-08-03-2015-t3049438
Mike 1986 owns oneplus 2?
Is he working on any custom rom for our phone?
Sent from my ONE A2003 using XDA Free mobile app

Camera did not work for me either.
It worked on my Moto X Pure Edition, but was a little laggy and crashed if I was using it to take a bunch of pictures. So I stopped using it as my main camera.
I installed all from here http://forum.xda-developers.com/android/apps-games/htc-blinkfeed-plugins-devices-08-03-2015-t3049438 and its working perfectly for me

I also Installed all of those.. but its not still pure Sense.
and camera is not in the list.

rom compatibility?

so do bolt Roms work on 10 evo and vise verse (10 evo roms -> bolt)? because i have a 10 evo that i wanna use as a mess around device.
There's not much support for this phone, I'm selling mine in favour of an HTC One M9 or M8, both have much better dev support and choice of ROMs and kernels.
