It is like that only on every Zenfone Max Pro M2. Hope Asus will fix it by an OTA update.

There is a app called nacho notch which can help to hide notch and get smooth edges at bottom too.

Every app behaves like this with the thick black navigation bar at the bottom. It looks very ugly to me.
Is there a way to make the navigation bar transparent and smaller in size..

I saw every picture posted by users in flipkart. The cut looks same. But have a look at these videos. The cut looks perfect https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H8uAYtcQOcM

I too noticed that maybe this was the case of phones dispatched on first sale if that's the case I will place a replacement.

Sadly no one has mentioned this anywhere except in the flipkart reviews. I read the reviews and was like what was the display cut problem. Then I saw this thread. Asus should look into this. We have to mention this in their twitter handle.

My device also have same problem, looks like the product is defective but flipkart and seller is denying replacement. Really sucks

My device also have same looks!!!

I guess we all should spam them on social media. ?
I have posted a question on Flipkart site about display cut.

Today i received a update for this device and they fixed the bottom cut edge issue

New Review for TD2

FYI, The Register just gave a very favourable review of the TD2, you can find it here: www.reghardware.co.uk/2009/04/23/review_smartphone_htc_touch_diamond_2/
You can switch between pics in your gallery by brushing your thumb across them and zoom in either by drawing a circle with your finger on the screen - clockwise to zoom in, anti-clockwise to zoom out..

They didn't even review the device. Nice BS review.
Usefully, the Diamond 2 comes with a thin leather-look case to protect its best asset

Agree, using stock images of device also makes it look like a media release.
Someone cheated on their homework
They probably didn't review the device as they did the review in April, hardly a 'new' review !!

black screen green lines
resonse to igord:
my N1 experienced this yesterday. It will power on and off but the screen has only horizontal green lines. The previous day I experienced a garbled voice on outgoing calls. Until 2 days ago it had worked flawlessly.
Google/HTC support said it may be software issue. I've requested a "swap" for a replacement phone. This "swap" option requires giving them a credit card number for them to charge for a new phone. Once I receive the new phone and return the malfunctioning phone they will credit the cc for the amount charged.

After using Samsung Galaxy S II for more than a week, I wrote a detailed Review.

Hi People. So.. I got a SGS2 about a week back. Though I've owned other android phones as well, But Galaxy S II is so incredible that it tempted me to write my first review.
My Review in Bullet Style™
It's little long, but I made it in points so that is looks short and is easy to read. Also, photos aren't of very high quality, thanks to my ****ty camera.
Also, Please don't consider it as a shameless self-posting, it's my first review so Would like to have your views on it?
great review, did you notice any yellow screen issues with it ? or anything otherwise , i believe there are some bad batches out there.
It IS a shameless self-promotion, technically speaking.
You review summary:
THE BAD
Not powerful enough speakers.
No dedicated camera button.
Click to collapse
I only got one speaker on my SGS2. Those TWO horizontal gaps in the lower right corner of the back side actually lead to ONE speaker.
The battery life image (attached) with "1d 10h 18m 36s on battery" - do you realize that image shows your phone was partially charged multiple times during that period?
Otherwise the review is great, congrats.

Damn, that was a typo, I meant speaker instead of speakers. Will correct it, thanks for pointing out out.
And about that battery screenshot? Yeah I know that, I had plugged my phone to pc in between as well. But you see, I haven't written anywhere that the screenshot is of my battery usage without any charge in b/w. i actually didn't have any othr screenshot.
And, I'm glad that you liked it

Double posted by mistake.
I haven;t gone through the whole review but it's pretty neat and well desgined.
Just a correction. I noticed you mentioned the Galaxy S II as the only phone with a 2 Megapixel front camera. It's not correct. The LG Optimus Black also has that.
At a first glance, it looks like the body is inspired by iPhone. The home button in bottom middle this resemblance stronger.

Quite a few people reported dead pixels on their screen, fortunately I'm not one of them, so it's always good to check. To test, just set full screen wallpapers in 100% black, white, blue, red and green and inspect the screen with full brightness.
For the rest in hardware, play music, make a call, find a touchscreen test app, connect WiFi, Bluetooth, etc.

I have seen 3 versions on YouTube
1. With shrinkwrap
2. In a clear plastic bag .... Like a sandwich bag
3. Without either of the above
I'm guessing different factories

The home buttons, as they are now, take up way too much space. And, you can pull a Pixel or OnePlus 5T out of a pants pocket and have it already unlocked before you can even find the button on the front of a phone.
All comes down to ergonomics. Just makes more sense on the back.

For my thumb, it is.
Using a long phone like this and trying to use a thumb to unlock it while gripping it may just make me drop the phone. The index finger on the back makes more sense as I'm already grabbing the phone naturally. My index finger can reach the back fp sensor naturally, but I need to move my thumb downwards to reach a front fp sensor and if the phone is long, I need to shift the phone upwards so my thumb can reach the bottom of the phone. Trying to adjust the phone using one hand in order to reach the front fp sensor makes no sense to me.
Of course a front fp sensor makes most sense for unlocking the phone on the table, no doubt about that. But I can always use double tap to wake and unlock it using pin or pattern. And if the phone is near me, I can just look at it to face unlock.
