Is it possible to install the stock camera in customs ROMs? - LeEco Le Pro3 Questions & Answers

Is it possible to install the stock camera in customs ROMs? If yes, how?

No it will not work. However, a custom camera that combines EUI and Miui works in Nougat. But in nothing else. AFAIK
Here is the link to Extracted software by myself and others that I cannot credit. Because I don't know where I got the files.

[q] re-installing stock lg g2 cam, and mms. Currently running cm 10.2 rom

Hello,
I recently root, TWRP, and added CM 10.2 rom, but not happy with current MMS and cam that came with it. I have the original APK files for both but the file manager will not let me install. Do i need a different apk in order to run this or am I missing a gapp file somewhere. Any help would be greatly apreciated. Also Im' running Nova if that makes a difference as well
No you can not, the stock files can only be installed in a stock based Rom.
Sent from my LG-D800 using XDA Premium HD app

You cannot simply install stock apps on a custom ROM. With that said, there is a flashable zip for the stock LG camera that works on custom ROMs.

Regarding the messaging app, I've yet to find someone who has made the stock one work on custom ROMs. I agree that the stock mms app is better than AOSP and I'd love to have someone make it work on custom ROMs. Until then, maybe try a 3rd party app, like Textra.

Thanks for the link, but I believe you may have misunderstood me. It's the stock LG messaging app that I prefer and would love for someone to make it so that you can flash it over an AOSP ROM much like there are zips to give you access to the LG QRemote app and stock LG camera app.

The only app i use from Asus is the PixelMaster camera, but i'm on AOSP 5.0.2 right now, and this ROM doesn't have Asus apps. There's a way to install Asus camera on this ROM? I don't like the stock Android camera app...

Application camera

Hello,
I have Galaxy S5 with LineageOS 14.
How to reinstall the application camera of origin ?
Thank you.
Flash the stock rom back and stick with it.
Every LOS based rom cannot have the framework libraries and driver files needed in order to run stock camera.

Hello Kevin,
Thank you for the fast answer.
Where to find the application "Camera" to install(settle) him(it) on my smartphone?
Cordially
You do have camera whenever you install a rom. If you flash stock rom, you have samsung's camera which is in my opinion the best, otherwise you will have custom which comes with another rom.

Just install the stock OP camera app from apkmirror here https://www.apkmirror.com/apk/onepl...e/oneplus-camera-3-0-32-android-apk-download/
I want fully working apk
It requires a bunch of things, including the OP gallery, and some OP services.
It's been done before on other devices, You might look at this 5T version as an example, or what you need.
