How to install Xposed on the Honor 8

How to install Xposed on the Honor 8
If your Honor 8 is rooted you might be interested in putting Xposed framework on it. I'll show you how.
Step 1: Download Xposed Installer
Download Xposed installer
Put the installer apk on your Honor 8 and install it.
Step 2: Install Xposed
Within the app tap "Install Xposed" The process is automated from this point. You will see big green check mark once everything is done.
Step 3: Be Careful
Many of the xposed modules have been said to cause bootloops or mess things up in one way or another. TK from XDA TV put together a video where he goes over a bunch of modules that he has tested himself and can confirm that they work.
stock emui doesnt seem to support a lot of modules bro..:good:

[Guide] Get HDR+ on the Wileyfox Swift 2

Before I begin: I am in no way responsible for your device or any kind of content on it, I want to warn you that this can brick your device (or make it unusable in other ways), proceed with caution - YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOUR DEVICE.
I tried it, it worked for me perfectly, but that doesn't mean it will work for you too.
My device is: Wileyfox Swift 2 plus Android 7.1.2 (TOS163B)
download and install the apk from this guide. (it says it only works on SD 820, 821 and 835, but ignore that) - direct link to the apk
download and install the magisk module from here. (you need at least Magisk v13)
reboot and enjoy your new Google Camera with HDR+.
Note: not all functions of the Google Camera work. (you can only take photos and videos)
I hope this guide helped you and now you can take better pictures :fingers-crossed:, if not let me know and I will try to help you.
Credit goes to:
otaconremo - Camera2API enabler magisk module
B-S-G - modified Google Camera
Works great, just the focus is a bit slow...
EDIT:
Uninstalled and reverted back, because OpenCamera and Vivino had issues - distorted images.

Viper4Android On Stock 8.0 Rom

Hi guys!
This is my first thread so sorry if i make any mistakes, so let me know if i did any!
So as the title says, We can get viper4android on stock rom but we need to
-Have unlocked bootloader
-Magisk
-Big brain, and focus to not f. it up!
-Back up your rom and data, just in case :silly:
So, we need magisk to install Viper4android module
-Magisk: https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk/releases/download/v20.4/Magisk-v20.4.zip
-Viper4Android magisk module:
https://zackptg5.com/downloads/v4afx_v2.7.1.6.zip
-App Uninstaller:
https://redirect.viglink.com/?key=e...uninstaller-remove-package-t3423910/amp/&ref=
So first we need to install app uninstaller and give it root and memory premissions, after that we need to find any app that is associated with miusic enchacments, like in my case: MiusicFX and Sound settings/Enchacments, And uninstall them!
After it uninstalls we refuse to automaticly reboot, then we launch magisk and install viper4android module either from Modules sections and selecting Viper4Android file or just searching it in Download section
After it downloads and installs we, again not reboot and just launch the viper4android app, give it root premisions after we click to accept the messange that tells us that it will intall an driver for itself let it istall.
After the viper installs itself phone will reboot automaticly.
Viper can not work on first boot, like in my case just open the app if it not works reboot the phone and it should work fine.
And Viola, You have Viper4Android on your stock Sony rom
If you have any problems let me know. I will try to help you :silly:

Samsung Galaxy A40 Gcam APK issues.

Hi,
Long story short, I obviously would like Gcam on my A40 and have been down a rabbit hole for a few hours trying to find a safe and working apk for the A40 on android 10.
I had found one reliable download from an XDA forum that provided a link that apparently works for the A40.
I have downloaded and installed the apk and the camera launches for a moment before being forced to close and leaving a pop up box saying:
"Camera keeps stopping
-App Info
-Close App"
Have I got an outdated APK? Is there any settings I'd need to change to allow Gcam to run? (I've already installed the APK so install from unknown sources is already on).
Thank you for any help!
