I search Stock ROM for LG Stylo 2 Plus (software version K55008p) - LG Stylo 2 Plus Questions & Answers

Hi everybody,
I can not find exactly the Stock ROM for my LG Stylo 2 Plus K550, android version 6.0.1 (software version K55008p).
I want the stock boot.img, I have found several ROMs on the net, but I noticed that they have a small difference, there is for LG Stylo 2 plus K55010r, K55020a, K55020b etc.
mine is * K55008p
I did not want to take any ROM which can brick my phone.
Where can I find a ROM exactly for my phone, (software version k55008p)?
Where else, can I just use the ROM (LG Stylo 2 plus K55010r)?

[Q] D802T variant ROMS

Hello
Im quite new to the Android scene, but I've read up on modding and flashing different software on phones and I've had plenty of practice. I just got my handset (LG G2 D802T) and I'm very pleased with it, however I can't flash it because I am unsure of which ROM to use. There are no D802T ROMS available. I am afraid of permanently bricking up the device. Which type of ROM can you recommend?

N

LG V20 F800L want to change to international firmware

Hi all, Just purchased a LG V20 F800L (Korean version) here in Australia.
It all seems to work well but I would like to change the software to an international one or a more English one.
As some things are still in Korean such as the ringtone list, the phone dialer and especially LG smart world and it will not allow me to log into it.
What I need to know is which firmware would be the best to flash & if some can point me in the right direction on where to start it would be much appreciated.
LG-F800L
Android 7.0
Build number NRD90M
Kernel 3.18.31
Software version F800L10m
My main aim is to get LG Smartworld working and in English

I think the issue here is that there isn't even an international version that has been released at this time. I will be keeping my eyes on this space though for when there is something. I have an F800K and will be changing out the ROM on it to international when/if I get the chance.

1) First you need an international version to be released
2) Then you need someone to post the firmware
3) Then you need the international version to have a bootloader unlock and TWRP and root so you can even do this
4) You need to hope and pray that on v20, unlike Samsung and many others, flashing other SKU firmware will NOT brick the device.
You rolled the dice and got the "wrong" version for your market....There's a strong possibility you're stuck with what you have, or that doing this you'll end up with an $800USD paper weight.
We currently don't have a way to flash firmwares at all.
Thanks guys ill just have to wait and see what happens.
Is there anyway of getting LG Smart world working in English?
any news????
Maybe this will help.

I got one for you ?

The other day I was looking to extract a stock IMG from my phone, witch got me to thinking of why my phone is shows me as being an LG G2 When in all actuality this phone is an LG M1 LS675, Now that's out of the way is it because it uses the same phone specs and if so can I use the KG G2 forum to get what I Need For my phone ,OH for got to mention that its root & unlocked

Lg Stylo 3 Lgl83bl root

Has anyone found a root method for the Lg Stylo 3?
Build number: NRD90U
Software version: Lgl83bl10a
I keep finding methods for the stylo 2 plus and 3 plus but none for the stylo 3. Need a working root asap.
I'm on the same boat. I bought the phone thinking it was ok to use with Tmobile but to my surprise, it's locked. :crying:
Still nothing? I am assuming that both of you have the same problem of bootloader? My stylo 3 just boots right back into system....
Not sure if this phone will ever be rooted its been out for sometime now.
HELP
I too am having the same issue when I try to boot into bootloader it just restarts the system is this going to be an unrootable phone
Found a solution

This tutorial worked for me for bypassing verification: [cannot post link because I'm new; go to hardreset dot info and search for lg stylo 3] . There were a couple of tricky steps. One was getting a phone number to come up while in youtube. Just search for KFC, go to the youtube about page and click the URL. Next was having a bluetooth headset (required). You only need it briefly but it is a must.
I assume all of the LG Stylo 3 tutorials are legit after this one worked.

Interesting. I too came across the BT method but didn't give it a try on this model. You should write a tutorial on your method. This phone was a bit of a pain at first to get past. I kept having my Accessibility Switch Access Help Page framed in for some reason. Finally after hard resetting a few times I was able to access an unframed version and get out to the internet / settings.

Did you find away for this pleas reply to me
No I ended up getting a different phone

Did I get the "wrong" V20 for rooting? H910 vs Other Variants.

Hi everyone, I decided to pick up a spare V20 as a walk around device (I won't use it as a phone, especially because you can't use HD voice on a custom Rom with the V20), just as a multi media player, camera, web browsing device, etc.
I picked up another V20 soely to root and put a custom rom on there to play with.
Any how, I saw this walk through for a recent walkthrough on rooting a V20, and apparently the H910 (at&t version) is harder/more tedious to root compared to the VS995 (verizon version):
Did I get the "wrong" V20 variant? Should I return it? Or is it still relatively easy to root the H910 and run a custom ROM in 2022?
TIA
No replies, has anyone bought a V20 lately and rooted? They still have a lot of them on ebay, though I question them, they seem to be refurbished but sold as "new".

Yeah you can Root the H910 and run a custom rom.
[ROOT] HOWTO: AT&T H910 up to v20g (FULLY TESTED)
Make a dump backup first before flashing the H915 KDZ file. Put it in a very safe place it has you EFS. That's what makes your phone work.
h910_root_pkg.zip "DirtySanta root package"
usb drivers for windows
Terminal Emulator for Android "f-droid Download APK at bottom of page"
LG V20 ROMs, Kernels, Recoveries, & Other Developm

Thanks for the insight and pointing me to the right direction @Darnrain1 !
On one of the H910's, I DEFINITELY want to put your custom rom on there and give it a run!
For now, I was trying to use one as a carry on device. However, with the way things are in my life right now, these projects will be in my backlog, haha... the main thing is, at least I have the hardware on hand.
I'll just leave them be for now. Slightly off topic, but I'd love to get my hands on a LG V50 as well one day. Nice camera, better speakers... though it still lacks the IR blaster, and most importantly, the ability to easily replace the battery. LG might have not been the best, but they certainly did some innovative/unique/great things in their tenure while in the smartphone space.
