Read Unlock Code from already unlocked Bootloader - Huawei P Smart Questions & Answers

Is there a way to get the unlock code from an already unlocked Bootlader?
A tool? Or is there a file, in which I can see the code?
I need to get back to Stock Rom and my fault was, when I got the unlock Code from the Huawei webseite that I didn't saved it or written it down.
What I've read to get a new Unlock code, DC Unlocker for 4€ is working so far?

You seriously wanna tell me you don't have your Huawei id / email / nor email with code from Huawei ....sounds too crazy too be true ...but i guess everything in life happens for a reason ...if you registered with fake credentials on Huawei and then delted your burner email account ..then you need to pay a penalty of 4€ ....i wouldn't wait for too long unless you end up bricking and restoring to permanently locked bootloader as ultimate penalty for not paying the first penalty of 4€ for not "writing down" your bootloader unlock code ..:silly:

There is a file named NVME in the system. You can learn it by reading it as Text.

The good thing was, I found a bootloader.txt file on my other pc, where I have saved the bootloader code. I almost forgot about it

Relock the bootloader

ok i know there are some tutorials here but i want to share my guide
this is a guide wich explains how to lock the bootloader
ok with these u will lose all ur data or apps so please make a backup first
the status code will not return to 0 but to 2 (i have no solution for this -if someone could help me)
1 first go here and download ur firmware
http://sbf.droid-developers.org/phone.php?device=14
2 extract the firmware on desktop or where u want and rename to X or how u want.
3 after u extract go into the folder and search for Windows folder.Copy the 3 files on X folder
4 download these files
http://www32.zippyshare.com/v/60108039/file.html
extract and copy the files in X folder
delete flashall.bat from X folder if u have one if not don t do nothing
5 put ur phone in fastboot .Power off ur phone. Then power on and volume down together.after 3-5 seconds let the power button.
u will be in bootloader mode
6 go in ur X folder and double click on Flash Moto G.bat
7 if Windows 8 request ur admin privilege just say ok
9 wait
10 when all finish the phone will reboot
wait untill the phones is on.Power off again and put one more time in fastboot mode. Then with power button just click on Normal Power up and it will flash ur logo for removing the bootloader warning
11 done ur bootloader is locked
for me works let me know if works for u
thanks to toco93 for help
And if I want to upgrade my Android Version, can I just flash the firmware in a recovery?
Or do I need to extract it and
fastboot flash bootloader bootloader.img
etc.
EDIT: Thank you !
Worked for me.
Doing this we recover again our warranty?
Thanks!!

Technicaly (for Motorola) you can`t restore warranty after requesting a unlock_code and unlocking your bootloader with it. They may still deny warranty even if you relocked the bootloader.

Requesting the unlock code does not mean you will use it. Obly way to prove that is by the unlocked message screen

Is it clear now?
The question is... Is possible for Motorola to know that you have unlocked the BL if it is locked when phone goes to warranty?
You can have requested an unlock code, and haven't used it...

True but i think once you unlock your device using the unlocked BL code it stays in their database so they should be able to tell if your phone has been unlocked or not.

Not for Motorola...
When is my warranty voided?
Your device warranty will be voided as soon as an unlock code has been generated through our online tool, regardless of whether you actually unlock your device.
Please do not request a bootloader unlock code unless you have read and accepted the terms of our legal agreement.

Wrong. Warranty void is still to No. Specially in EU, impossible to void warranty only for asking that code. If you don't use it the bl is still the same. No change on it. No warning message. No fuse burned. Come on...
Agree, silly and illegal, but if Motorola deny my warranty what can i do? Go to a court?

The problem is "transitive property" or "consecutio temporum".
The OFFICIAL thinking motorola about this: IF i ask the code, AUTOMATICALLY then i will unlock the bl. OFFICIALLY IS THIS, because they don not cover the other "street":
IF i ask the code, I asked simply a code. STOP. No other. There is not a "transitive property" for that if i ask a code then bl unlocked. Only this last exists for Motorola, and it's right in this sense, it's logic.
But the real life is different: IF i ask the code, I asked simply a code. STOP. So It's impossible that warranty can be void from them only for "asking the code". There is no change on phone and so on... In EU especially.

I have actually no problem with that what you are saying. I see it in a similar way. But logic and law is sometimes not very close to each other. I don't wanna go toooo off topic but how is it with computer games? You can buy a Game but it is not yours. You have often only the license to use it. This is also somehow strange and does not fit in my logic.
I understand that in the EU we have a big benefit because of our law to these things but are you a lawyer and can you be so sure about that what you are saying? Especially for the rest of the world? Have you read the complete license agreement? Sure, maybe the license agreement is futile........i hope so I'm not worried in any way......but just my 5 cents.
Hi there,
I want to lock my bootloader. I followed your guide and other guides too but when cmd comes to the step : " fastboot oem lock " It gives me the error : "(bootloader) sst lock failure!
OKAY [ 0.047s]
finished. total time: 0.048s "
And my Status Code is still 3. Does somebody knows why I get this error ? As I already said this is not the first method I tried but all failed.
Thanks.

Relock Bootloader and Warranty

Hi.
Somewhere, I've read that after relocking the Bootloader, one can see that it was unlocked before. Is that really so?
Can someone tell me what the Bootloader status says, after relocking?
I don't want to run that procedure just to be able to see what the status is.
Thanks in advance
Greets

You can relock yes, but Motorola already knows that you unlocked it, because you asked them the unlock code giving your IMEI. Relocking is pointless for warranty

If a person chooses to relock, what is the procedure to unlock next time round?
Does one need an unlock code? Does the original one work?

Whats the point to relock? Warranty is void. Just more hassle, because every time you unlock it again it wipes your phone...

According to some, it would be a security measure.
Yes, I understand that the warranty is gone the moment I agree to that on Motorola's site even if I never actually use the code and unlock the phone. The question is from curiosity, really.

Technically, asking for a code doesn't mean you've used it, so it's not a proof of anything.

it doesn't have to be. It is when you request the code that you sign away your warranty. It is in the not-so-small print.

Seems like you're right. They're cheeky bastards
Will OTAs be Installable if we relock?
Relocking the phone won't give your warranty back for 2 reasons.
1) When you have unlocked your device you have asked a code to Motorola (and they have stored your device as unlocked)
2) If you watch on botloader there is a bootloader status (or something similar) that report code 3 (unlocked) and not 0 (not unlocked). If you relock your device the status code remain 3, so it continue to say it was unlocked. Relocked the bootloader haven't any utility (a locked device is a bit more secure but wipe your data everytime for a bit more security isn't so useful and if you want to reunlock it you have to ask the code to Motorola again (IDK if fastbot oem unlock is enought or not)).

Need Help Rooting US varient BTV-W09 running Nougat

BRAND NEW TABLET, 30 MIN. of screen ontime.
I NEED HELP...
I've read countless threads on what to do and nothing is working.
I installed DC-Unlocker to unlock bootloader, they stated it would cost 4 credits/euros, which every post that suggested DC-Unlocker on this subthread mentioned, but now they are asking for 15 credits/euros.
I followed Rooting new Nougat version post number 5...
I typed the first step to reboot bootloader which reset my tablet, but the second step, flash recovery twrp.img gives me an error
Following these instructions...Root Success, I cant unlock bootloader through Huawei website. Every link i tried for Huawei registration asks for a cell phone for verification, and i don't have a Chinese based cell phone.
Following this program SRK TOOL FOR HUAWEI I have to again register on Huawei website, which i cant.
Does anybody have a suggestions? any written guides? anything for me to follow?
I would much rather return this tablet then spend 15 euros to unlock bootloader.
Why cant it be as easy as my old Samsung devices? Odin was a breeze compared to this.
What am i missing?
Wait a second you already unlocked you BL, why do you need to do it again ? And have a look here,, https://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-m3/development/twrp-greatslon-mod-t3489232 ..

I'm in the same boat. A year later I am trying to get DC Unlocker to read my bootloader code but there is no tap for that in the latest app!
I did it! I paid this other guy do login to my computer with my tablet attached and he provided my bootloader unlock code. I then unlocked bootloader and rooted. Not quite easy but doable.

It was indeed. He has to login to your computer remotely but he's legit. I'd pay him to do it again.

Can vouch for ministryofsolutions as of June-2019. $4 and unlock took about half an hour, think he was having issues with his connection but in the end got the unlock code and used it with success. Had to backup data with HiSuite prior to that though as unlocking, of course, wipes it all.

Code for unlock bootloader pls

Huawei deletes the page that gave the code to unlock the bootloader.

Hello.
You can throw away 4 euros and try to use DC-Unlocker and read the bootloader code.
I don't think it works with newer phones ...

I think Huawei have stopped unlocking bootloaders. I believe you can pay third parties to do it, but I don't have any experience with that.
