EDIT: So i want to know if there is any like modem file or what not i can try to flash via open to reinstall the "drivers" for the wifi/bluetooth, if that make sense? Or what do i do? Thanks in advance

I suggest you to install this [Rom][VZW_CRI1][Stock_Oreo_PreRooted_Easy_Unroot/Root][Safestrap_Preinstalled] and then unroot (tuto is in there too)
that way you will have flashed stock firmware, which will problbly solve your issue. And then jrkruse rom, which is great. You will end with a perfectly working, debloated phone

[Q] Strange wifi issues

Hey guys, been having this problem for a while but finally had enough of it!
For a start, in the wifi list in settings it doesn't show me which network I am actually connected to.

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
In addition if i tap another wifi network which despite already previously been connected to it , it will still ask me for the password again, after which it keeps saying failed to connect, it wont let me connect to it
I have been getting around the problem by using WPS on my wifi router and "WPS Push Button" in the settings menu when I'm home to get it to connect to my home wifi as opposed to "BT OpenZone" every time, which is quite frustrating!
I'm rooted on stock rom , Build Number KOT49I.D80220h however this problem has been ongoing atleast since before the last 2 updates.
Any ideas/troubleshooting I can do??
Cheers amishra123
Tried resetting to factory defaults?
I haven't no. What's the best/easiest way to go about backing up before and restoring afterwards ?
LGBackup on the phone should suffice. Just make sure to copy the LGBackup folder to a safe location (like a PC/laptop).

Weird Bugs: Galaxy S4 Connected to no name Wi-Fi Network & Soft-Reboot loop

Hi,
I thought I was the only one experiencing these problems but I found there are common issues.
I've been experiencing a weird bugs in Lollipop (5.0.1) OC4 on AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 (I337) for 3 months now.
1/ My phone basically crashes (soft reboots) whenever I keep Wi-Fi on and leave home (leave the parking lot). After restarting, It shows it is connected to a blank WiFi (as shown in the photo below) for few minutes and then it disconnects.

"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
2/ Sometimes when I turn ON the WiFi, the phone gets stuck in a soft-rebooting loop. (as shown in the video below)
And I have to remove the battery, turn the phone on, and then turn on Airplane Mode for few minutes in order to avoid this.
I tried to troubleshoot the problem, I installed aLogcat, but it didn't log what crashed the system.
I use Xposed, Tasker, Secure Settings, Wanam Xposed for Lollipop Touchwiz, Boot Manager, Xposed Additions. I disabled all of them but I didn't help either.

Wi-Fi stopped working on rooted Galaxy S7

I own a Verizon Samsung Galaxy S7 (G930V), rooted according to psouza4's root guide and fine-tuning guide , with Coolify. Everything was working great, until two nights ago. That night, Wi-Fi randomly stopped working on the device. Upon inspection, I found it had not only disconnected from my network, but had also turned off its Wi-Fi signal.
I tried turning it back on, both through the notification tray and the android settings app, which says it is turning Wi-Fi on for a few minutes, looking like this:

"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
before giving up and returning to this:
I've already tried reboot, wiping the cache partition, toggling airplane mode, cellular data and bluetooth, all to no avail. I am unsure what is causing this problem and whether it is hardware or software related. I only have a finite amount of cellular data and much prefer to be using Wi-Fi. I am hesitant to resort to a stock reset of my phone, losing all my apps, data, and hours of customization, though I will if I think I have to. Any advice will be much appreciated!

Wifi not working suggestions needed

Hello guys, I was using Google edition ROM for 1-2 months in my LGG2 D802
A week ago suddenly the wifi stopped working. It keeps showing turning on wifi and nothing happens.
I flashed other ROMs at the settings wizard the wifi started but turned itself off after few minutes.
So I visited LG care nearby, they flashed ROM in it to check if it starts working and it didn't.
They suggested to replace the board which will cost 5k INR
Should I go for it?
*bump*
FINALLY WiFi TURNED ON!
FINALLY!

}
What I did?
- Flashed stock ROM
- kept wifi turned off
- turned off automatic date update
- then turned on wifi
So, basically its the automatic date update which is killing the wifi everytime. don't know why..
Please inform to people to try this method facing this issue.
Thank god didn't sell it for 5000Rs :laugh:

Keyboard Glitch/Broken after Rooting/Flashfyre

Hi guys,
I have a fresh S7 SM-G930V(Android 6.0.1). Which i logged in via google and it downloaded all my previous apps on my old phone(i assume it automatically does)
I was following https://forum.xda-developers.com/ve...-to-notes-root-install-xposed-unroot-t3411039.
And now my keyboard is now starting to look weird

"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
I completed all the steps and rooted to the following image "Samsung_G930x_QC_Rooted_BOOT.TAR (any Samsung Galaxy S7) (MD5 hash 948A01ECCF280828DFD13AC366F6FE85)"
and used Odin3_v3.12_PrinceComsy.zip as opposed to the other odin.
Any ideas besides using another keyboard app?
EDIT: Just flashed back to G930VVRU4API3, which i thought was my stock rom but has a purpleish first time start up which i thought should be blueish?
Going to try and re-flash a root after work again.
UPDATE2: I Follow the rooting/xposed steps again and now i got my normal keyboard back. The difference is that the verizon startup is white/red while when i first ever used the phone it was a blueish/purple verizon start up. But i feel that it was definitely 6.0.1 with PI3.
Accessing the phone via cable seems extremely slow but thats for another thread...
I am now rooted with a working keyboard, now time to work on the other issues....
