Need help with Bricked Chinese smartwatch diggro di03 :/ - Other SmartWatches

I bought the diggro di03 but it was randomly disconecting from my phone ( Xiaomi running miui 9.5).
I then decided to update the firmware
I followed the guide diggro provides and used the correct firmware, however, my watch is now bricked….
I don't know, for sure, what went wrong but i suspect that i flashed it with the option:
"Usb download/readback "
instead of
"usb download/readback (DATA CARD)"
It is still detected on the software (COM3) and i can still flash firmwares onto it, but nothings seems to bring it back to life.
The only thing it does now is blink the heart sensor whenever i press the power button and when i release it.
Guide i used: http://www.chinawatchs.com/mtk-smartwatch-update-the-proper-way/
firmware : https://www.diggroapp.com/diggro-firmware/
If you know what i should do plz answer as i love the looks of the watch and would like to keep it (functioning)
Thank you reading this

Got a bricked X2, please help.

Ok, so i got fed up with my phone freezing so i thought i would get SEUS to
re install the rom, (mr1, mr2 is not available to me yet).
The indicator got to about an inch along when a message popped up saying
update failed.
Now i cannot enter bootloader to try again, the phone will not turn on, SE refuse
to help saying it is not released in the UK so i am not entitled to support.
I have not yet had a reply from where i got it from.
Is there any way to get this piece of junk going again?
Thanks.
Try to charge your battery on another phone / external charger.
I encountered a similar problem when trying to flash the X2. I received the UPDATED FAILED error, pulled out the battery, Volume Down + Power and gave it another try.
SEUS shouldn't brick your phone, maybe it's a problem with your battery.
The battery is at about 80%, i have tried it in my X1 as it is the same battery.
I tried the X1's battery in the X2 as well.
When i press the volume down and power buttons it vibrates for a fraction of a
second and then just stays on a black screen.
Let's try then a forced bootmode connection.
1. Insert the data cable into the phone without the battery plugged in.
2. Open SEUS and go to the connection screen.
3. While the software is searching for the phone, keep VOL DOWN + POWER and insert the battery.
After the phone vibrates, the software should recognize the X2.
This procedure generally applies to dead phones and sometimes works.
Post the result.
Still nothing, i kept the buttons pressed for about 30 seconds, then vista popped up a message 'usb device not recognised' the phone stayed as it did before and SEUS did nothing.
Sadly the support excuse they are using is what a lot of manufacturers do if you are in an area where they don't support it. This is the downside of buying a device on eBay etc. before it is "officially" released in your area. Contact the point of sale and hopefully they can send it in for you. You might have to pay shipping costs.
Leave your battery out and unplugged for an hour and then try again after that to revive it.
I did not even realise it had not been released in the UK, i got it from a UK website.
I am still waiting for them to get back to me, as it is Sunday they won't be getting back to me till Mon Tue i would think.
SE were fast though, less than an hour to reply, about the only credit they get though.
I have had the battery out for more than an hour a few times so that does not work.
Thanks for the suggestions though, keep em coming if there are any more.

The exact same thing happened to me today, but I did not even get the update failed message (but I got the inch )
The phone is now bricked. No bootloader no nothing.
I guess you guys have the Singapore English versions? A lot of those retailers in the UK were getting them through Malaysia and so on. Then selling in the UK but not informing buyers that SE wont support it in the UK yet. It's really sad
It's a French X2, and I got it in France. I think I will have no issue with getting my X2 unbricked (or replaced), SE support is pretty good over here.
But if in the mean time someone has an idea or a trick on how to unbrick a X2 (other than the tips already listed in this thread), I would be happy to test it

Hi!
This has happened to me also. The solution was to connect the original charger (I usually charge from the USB port on my PC).
Try this:
1. Disconnect all cables from phone.
2. Remove battery.
3. Insert battery.
4. Connect original SE charger and charge for 5 minutes.
5. With the charger still connected, press volume down and then power on simultaneously - hold until SE logo appears.
If not working, repeat from step 1 several times (i tried 3 times before it finally worked).
6. Connect PC USB and run SEUS update.
Seems to me like the phone does not always charg from USB, and that when it enters the "black-screen-after-short-vibration-after-power-on"-mode it does not charge while in this mode.
Mod edit: not rom dev related, moved to general
well... when it say update fail but if save the new rom to ur phone then its fine, take the battery out and restart ur phone.. it should load the new OS.. my one says fail everytime.. so no problem for me

[Q] LG D802 PWR button not working after recovery from HS-USB QDLoader 9008 mode

Hi all,
after some time in trials to recover the dead LG G2 D802 it has become true. With help of another member of the xda forum I have succeeded to recover the phone. ... But strange things appear after that. The phone does not want to start from the Power-off/on button. Also I can not enter recovery by pressing VolDown+Power. The only thing I can do is to put in DownloadMode. I mean it react to pressing VolUp and plugging it to the PC. Then I can flash it with LG_Flash_Tool_2014 and after that the phone starts.
Then I am doing all the initial steps of setting the Android and it is working. I am testing the functionality of VolUp and VolDOwn buttons and seems that they are working fine.
If I am not turning the phone OFF all is fine. If I decide to turn it off (by PowerOff) it works a bit strange - when I pres it long it does not give me the options PowerOff, Reboot etc. , but just turn-off the phone.
Then no way to turn it ON again. The only way is to put it in download mode and to flash it again.
If it is powered-off and I put it on the charger it is charging normally and when reach 100% it show the picture on the screen. And that it is.
But no way to power it ON by button.
I hope someone could help with this symptoms.
How was your phone got bricked to go into only qdloader 9008? What were you flasng or what rom were you using?
The phone was bricked during flashing of update. Then I found the tread about No Download No Recovery etc. Via the test point I moved it to qdloader 9008. Then with some help and the program similar (or same I can't exactly remember) like BoardDiag3.99c we managed to upload the main parts from the OS and the soft in case to wake up the phone. Then the phone was able to go in Download Mode and using LG Flash Tool 2014 I have flashed the official FW for it (downloaded on my PC - D80220C_00.kdz). The phone is D802 (aftabalam8c2 asked me to dismount the board and to look on it to verify the model). On the box of the phone is written that it is 16G version 6WT. I checked and seems to be Taiwan version with open soft (no operator locked). Now the phone is working very good except the problem that the button Power OFF is not working. If I press it long it is not coming the menu "Power Off - Resrat - etc." but just the phone is turning off. Then the only thing is is able to do is to go on Download again. No Recovery, No simple turn ON. Then in download I can flash it again and then the soft turn it ON after the flash is done.
I made few trials with different FW for Taiwan/HonkKong (D80220C_00.kdz - 1,62 GB (1*743*288*886 bytes) and Hong Kong D80220C_00.kdz - 1,60 GB (1*723*173*312 bytes)) but the result is always the same.
Also I disconnected and checked the buttons. They are working fine - measured wirh Ohm meter on the connector.
Also I made few trials with another equipment - Octopus Box. It is possible not to flash the whole phone. In Octopus there is an option to read the NVRAM in DOwnload Mode. If I do it the the Octopus Soft after that turns / restarts the phone and it start in normal mode.
Unfortunately this friend does not remember what FW he was trying to flash when he got bricked. One time he told me he was trying to update the FW (OTA) after that he mentioned he was trying to flash another ROM. It was mess done 2,5 months ago, but just last week I was able to pay some attention to his phone.
I assumed it was OTA and downloaded the official FW according to the model, region and the memory.
The only difference was that during the qdloader 9008 mode the phone was flashed with files for (d802 32GB mbn) 32G version. Not 16G.
Regards
Maybe something got fried on the motherboard? Anyway here are the service manuals for G2 (not all model). I hope you could track what goes wrong from the power button with the help of the service manual. https://mega.co.nz/#F!HhhQiSqA!ESK4rT7LJB3MJCRJOU2GhQ
Thank you so much. I see there is a good diagram about the power and the TPs I need to check. Next days when I have a little free time will try to read and check according to the manual. I hope it could be repaired ... but despite my hope my logic whispers me that probably your suggestion is right - something got fried on the board.
If I find something which is reasonable will inform here.
Have a nice day

READ CAREFULLY AND BE WARNED BEFORE ANYTHING:
THIS CAN HARD-BRICK YOUR DEVICE AND I TAKE NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR THAT!
use it only if you must or not at all
you can read this for some details about what bricks are so you understand what you can get into
this is for all Yoga Tab 2 models 830, 1050, 1380 (regardless of the submodel F,L,LC)
it restores(downgrades) your bios firmware from whatever Lollipop version to the original/genuine one from the latest KitKat stock rom released by Lenovo (and all the latest KitKat stock rom's have 150422 in the rom filename, ie April 15, 2015 and nothing not even minor OTA's were released after this date for KitKat, next ones upgraded KitKat to Lollipop)
useful to:
1. those who want to return back to the KitKat stock rom from Lollipop (if you simply flash back the KitKat stock rom files and you are still on Lollipop bios firmware you will softbrick as the Lollipop bios is a x64 version while the KitKat loader/kernel are ia32 so you will get stuck at efi shells, bios screen etc)
2. those who took the Lollipop OTA, succeded, but had in time problems (bricked their device) and cannot flash a Lollipop stock rom as they don't have one (not being released by Lenovo/available yet and at least some 830 and 1380 models are in this situation), so they must flash back KitKat stock rom and after take the OTA to Lollipop (and the KitKat flashing part put's them in the same situation as those from p1.)
3. those who tried to take the Lollipop OTA and had problems and they tried to flash KitKat stock rom and yet they are failing (this could be due to problems in the updating while OTA was applied, yet could be that their bios firmware was updated to Lollipop version)
4. those who want to test stuff (going down/up between versions) ... you name it...
how to use it:
1. first download and extract the corresponding tool for your device (830 and 1050 models share the same bios firmware so they have a common tool), while at this you can watch the little attached recording i made with the tool restoring the bios for my 1380F tab so you know what to expect when you run it. USE THE TOOL THAT MATCHES/CORRESPONDS TO YOUR MODEL, you can hard-brick if for eg you use the 1380 one on a 1050 model (didn't even tried but nothing good can happen)
2. place your tab in the DnX mode: power off (by force if you have to), press and hold both VolUp and VolDown butons, keep them pressed, now press Pwr to start and release Pwr when it turns on/buzz (but keep holding pressed Vol buttons), in a few seconds your screen will display "Fastboot starting..." and it will hold on that, now you can release the Vols (you are in DnX mode). you must get that message, try again the whole sequence until you succed, don't move on until you have that "Fastboot starting..." on your screen.
3. run the tool (you must have the intel drivers installed, if you flashed to your tab at some point you should have them already), follow the messages i think it's quite easy and straightforward, in a few minutes you will be done and having a brand new kKitKat bios firmware on your tab
(3) if while running it hangs on the "Preparing to push files..." message, and your tab starts to the whatever error message you had before it means that you already have a KitKat bios (the tool works only with the Lollipop bios firmware) so you don't need to restore the bios, you can flash stock KitKat rom directly (in this scenario the tool doesn't modify anything on your tab)
4. when it finishes the tool will automatically reboot your tablet, leave it for a few seconds to start (it will most likely go ninto some efi shell, or bios screen whatever your old files were) afterwards turn it off (long press Pwr) and that's it
5. you can now start in DnX mode again and flash your stock KitKat rom (this step is quite known by now so i won't detail it, there's a lot of info on that in other threads), take OTA's, eat candies... whatever you like
i must warn you again, while i tested this tool (i think i moved from KitKat to Lollipop and back at least 20 times and never had any issue with it) you are the only responsible if something bad could happen, this is playing with bios (and any mistake will hard-brick your tab so you will have to send it to a service for fixing). make sure you have enough battery (while i used the tool even when i was with 5% on my battery i would not recommend, i say at least a 30-40%, the process runs only for 2-3 minutes so that should not be an issue). and of course once it started the flashing DO NOT EVEN THINK OF INTERRUPTING! (you could close other software on your PC that maybe can hang your computer while flashing.. you got the point)
Good Luck!
edit: i already have messages about successful bios restoring (as expected no? ) but failing on completing the OTA to Lollipop update after flashing anew the KitKat stock rom. to them and to all of you people who are going to Lollipop from your newly flashed stock KitKat: SET YOUR COUNTRY CODE!!! after you flash back stock kitkaton the first boot input ####6020# in your contacts and a dialog will pop from which you MUST choose a country (no matter which one, preferably yours or a close one), then after the tab reboots for updating the region and comes back to Android check that you have a country code set by entering #### 59930# and it should show the code you chosed. if you take the OTA without a country set you will FAIL! if you failed on your OTA to Lollipop flash anew the stock KitKat rom and set the country code
also do not take an OTA if your device is rooted, always UNROOT first then take the update, and you can root back after or just don't root until you finished the whole Android installing and OTA updates

thank you! i had the boot to bios problem after trying some not-smart things. after spending an hour on the phone with lenovo this morning getting a repair authorization, i printed out the label. i don't need to send in my 1380f now.
your app fixed that and i was able to flash to kitkat and then upgrade to lollipop.
Works perfect! Thanks!

Mersi Dorin!
My 1050F cannot boot for long time, I posted the problem(http://forum.xda-developers.com/thinkpad-tablet/general/help-1050f-dead-t3188696) but no one answered me. Today I was very excited to find this post and read it carefully, then tried to do it. But just after the sending progress started (the "xx%" progress began)for about 10 seconds, the program "restore-kitkat-bios-830_1050" vanished(Maybe forced teminated by Windows? I ran the "restore-kitkat-bios-830_1050" after a new reboot of Windows). I waited for about 3 minutes, the "restore-kitkat-bios-830_1050" program still didn't appear, and the tab hanging on a normal picture ( I don't remember, probably a recovery stage picture? but I remember the last line is "the result is Okay"). So I had to disconnct the tab from the computer, and powered it off. Then I try to power it on, but sadly find it cannot boot to any screen. In a dark room, I find the backlight of the tab is on when I pressed the power button, but there is no text or picture on it, regardless of whether I press the power button independently, or press the power button together with any volume button(s).
Now the tablet seemingly has changed into a REAL brick (or hardware brick?). How can I rescue it? The only way is to send it to a service?

i've seen the post with the problem you had, now the thing is on a "normal" bricked tablet (meaning soft bricked one) your tab never hangs at the screen to which you're referring to (Powered by Android) it will always move on (to some error message, bios etc). the same tool was used by me and others (including for your 1050F model last one I recall is @Einwood) and never had issues (until now) so imo it's very unlikely that the problem was from the tool (it's task is quite simple and don;t see what could go wrong) something interrupted the flashing process. also you said you tried both lollipop and kiktkat rom flashing and failed and at least one of them should have worked (the roms are flashed using bios dnx as start) so the issues are with your tab hardware most likely.
but all that is irrelevant now... if it doesn't boot at all and you cannot get it to show ANY message at all (white Lenovo logo doesn't show up when you power on nor does it buzz when pwr on) then service is the only solution
@ The Others: please post your tab model too when posting
Thank you so much for such detailed analysis, but I cannot figure out why the hardware has problem. Yes, now it cannot show ANYTHING, white Lenovo logo doesn't show up nor does it buzz when pwr on. Anyway, I think I have no choice except the official repairment now.
I'm trying to find the LENOVO service sites in Canada, but their Canada official site has no such information, on the contrast, its website is full of sale/order/payment information. I think I should re-think about this company.
Thank you again for the reply.

you should NOT use the tool unless it is made exactly for your model, or you most likely will hard-brick. moreover Lenovo uses an in-cpu module for digitally checking the authenticity of the firmware you have on your board at pwr on time and even if you have a bios that would work on your model if it is signed with another key it will cause a hard-brick (the measured boot module will refuse to load the IBB in the new bios).
for eg if one writes the 1051 windows variant of bios on the 1050 android one (they are identical in hardware) it hard-bricks (tested).
send me a link to the latest KK stock rom for your device and i will check on it.
That is what happend to me. My loved 1380f is hard-bricked. Only the white lamp is blinking and it doesn't turn on anymore.
Is there a possibility to repair it or can i throw it in the garbage? Please give me an advice. Thank you very much.

not so much you can do, the hardware is fine, it just got the wrong firmware in it... somehow you must rewrite the bios but you cannot do that from the outside (ie by software means) without being able to boot at least in DnX mode. you can check quickly ... if after you PwrOn (well.. after you long press Pwr button as at this moment Powered On of Off are werid concepts ) you don't get NOTHING on your display (ye not even the Lenovo -> Powered by Android white/black logo) than that's it (try maybe to see if somehow DnX didn't got hooked by entering a fastboot devices and see if by some miraccle you don't see your device there)
your device must be opened by a repairing service tech (especially if he is on warranty), you could do it yourself (i did) but you need the appropiate tools and know/how otherwise from a hard-bricked yet recoverable (the hardware is ok) you will transform it into just a paper holder
updated kitkat bios restore tool to version 2 (foolproof version). read the main thread post at the beginning.
Good morning.
Please let me introduce my situation. I use Lenovo Yoga tablet 2 Pro. On 9-th of november I updated Android to 5.0.1. Unfortunately, one of my commercial aps now can not make a connection with external device (no appropriate information about USB connection is appeared).
I am affraid the problem lies on the Android 5.0.1 system. Before that everything had worked perfect.
That is way I decided to downgrade to the Androix 4.x.
I found above treads, but have some doubts.
Is above tool downgrade my system to Android 4.x or do I need to do some additional operations, to get back to the Android 4.x?

you must:
1. Downgrade the bios using the restoring tool (you mention "Yoga Tab 2 Pro" so you must use the 1380 version), and you must do that so you can flash KitKat stock rom on your tablet (if you try to flash directly, without the bios downgrade it will fail and you will soft-brick your tablet)
2. After restoring the bios, download from here your stock KitKat rom and extract
3. Flash using Intel Phone Flash Tool (open with it the "flash.xml" from the target_bin directory of the extracted archive). the Intel Tool can be found in the tools directory of the same extracted archive.
4. After you finished sotck KitKat flashing, remember to set your contry code (####6020# in Contacts), also it's not necessary to make your settings wifi etc before you set your country code as they will anyway going to be deleted (a factory reset is performed on country code setting operation). if you don't set a country code you will fail when upgrading to Lollipop.
5. Update using the Lollipop OTA or stay on KitKat
Thank you for explanation.
I download system, installed Phone Flash Tool, open it and chose flash.xml, but after connecting my YT2Pro I can not see device specific with "Start to flash" button in the Device list area of the program.
see below screen. Is this screen looks as it should? (ups, unfortunately I can not post images, because I am new user).
One more thing, tablet should be turned off during flashing?
Right now my tablet is connected to the laptop by USB. It is not switched off and charging is in progress (laptop does not see my tablet as an additional disc/device).
Is above status correct?

[F32xx][F31xx][Guide] How to unbrick dead Xperia XA and Ultra

Hi all,
Today I will explain you how to unbrick your dead phone, now that I have a XA Ultra for dev and test I tried to kill it (yes I'm crazy).
until now I didn't searched all ways because my XA was my daily phone and when I asked the community to send or sell me a dead phone, no answers
I tried many ways to brick and unbrick the phone, tried to brick it by not using FSC file, using an old Falshtool, flashing boot.img from an other device (Xperia X and Z5 ) and I always recovered it. In my last try the phone was totally dead, no red light and not detected by my computer but all ended fine :good: I will upload a video soon.
On Mediatek devices, if the preloader is not corrupted you can always recover it. If it doesn't work for you maybe you can use some "special" boxes to connect on the UART serial port and flash the preloader but I didn't find the correct pinout on it and no proofs what will work on XA and Ultra.
Other thing, if someone claim that he found an other way and need your phone (and money), don't trust it until you have some real proofs (some users know what I mean), it's probably a scam to steal your phone.
By following this guide you will void the warranty so do it only if you can't send it to Sony!!
## What we need ?
- Some tools to open the device (a plastic card can be enough)
- The last version of Flashtool
- Flashmode drivers installed (you can install them from Flashtool)
- A firmware downloaded from Xperifirm (inclued in Flashtool)
- One set of sticker glue tape for the backplate like this one:
https://s-media-cache-ak0.pinimg.co...4ff8978f9e--waterproof-stickers-glue-tape.jpg
## Step by step guide
1. Follow this video to remove the backplate (thanks to the author): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2O5dAljOpR4
2. Unplug the battery connector, pull it from the upper side very slowly or you can damage it.
3. Open Flashtool and load the firmware (remove all TA related partitions), click "flash" and wait until you see the popup to plug the phone.
4. Hold "vol-" and plug the phone, you will see the red light 1 seconde and the green light just after.
5. Release "vol-" button and wait until the end of the flash process.
6. Unplug the phone, plug the battery connector and power on the phone.
7. If it's ok the phone will start and you can put the backplate again (clean the old glue and put the new sticker)
## How to avoid brick
First of all you must understand that flashing something on our devices is always dangerous, official or unofficial things.
Generally our devices goes wrong after updating the firmware, to reduce the risk you have to follow some simple things:
- Don't unlock the bootloader and use OEM tools.
- Always download files from trusted sources.
- When you use Flashtool, always use the last version, download the firmware from the inclued Xperifirm and always use FSC file when asked.
If it worked for you, don't forget to feedback, hit the thank button and why not offer me a coffee

You followed my guide? Have you the green led?
what should i do if i don't get the green led and can't enter flash mode
It stays at the red light..
what else can i do?
If it doesn't work for you I don't know what you can do. Maybe if one day it doesn't work for me too I will try some more experimental things or if I can have a device with the same problem in my hands.
Welcome my dear friend! My phone is also lit red led. How to reflash?
Unfortunately at this time their no way to reflash your phone if you have that red light flash only
If don't have flash mode or fastboot use able their is not a way to recover.

everytime i turn the device on, it displays the sony logo, then the android logo, the xperia logo, then it turns off. i cant seem to get past through this regardless if i'll press the volume- and power or the volume+ and power. im almost certain that this can be fixed by doing something on the flashtool. i guess i just dont know how to do it. a step-by-step tutorial is greatly appreciated.

I totally agree with you, and now you can see fake users who post fake feedbacks but until now we have absolutely no proof about this miracle
Its like videos on youtube with title saying 2017 paypal free money hack, which directs you to a survey site and wants you to pay money in order to download a 'paid virus' even though it says free you still pay for a virus. They are too funny man

I know I'm late but, Those who are having problems with green light not showing up:
1. Hold the Volume Down button
2. Connect USB
3. Keep holding the button for 30 seconds atleast.
When bricked, device doesn't show green light readily. It takes atleast 30 seconds.
Thank you
You're the BOSS! You've saved my Mini ST15i. Thank you! :highfive:

Bricked Lenovo Tab M10 fhd plus while trying to downgrade, any advice?

Hi,
I'm not sure I'm posting in the right section but, I had a really bad experience upgrading to android 10. Really sluggish and slow... so I tried to downgrade to android 9 by using Lenovo's Rescue and Smart Assistant.
What I did, is to find the stock ROM for my model, and replace the files downloaded by the Rescue Assistant (which downloaded the latest firmware). The process went through, but now the device wont power on.
When I plug in the USB, windows makes a sound, the charging light comes on, but The rescue Assistant nor SP flash tool is able to flash the latest firmware.
Is it bricked for good?
Model : TB-XF606F
Hardware number : 60
Maybe your computer doesn't recognize your tablet. Did you ever try using sp flash tool with your tablet before? You can try reinstall or install a driver for your table if you haven't done it yet.
Well the tablet is recognized as the "mtk vcom..." in device manager. I guess it is the driver that the lenovo rescue app installed.
I have never used sp flash tool with my tablet, just the lenovo rescue.
I tried on 2 different pc and it is the same thing. I think the problem is that I can't turn off the tablet properly, even though, all I can see is a black screen.
I will try to drain the battery by keeping the power button pressed with some scotch tape. I don't know what I can do else.
Edit: I tried a few other times with flash tool using different setting for the connection (with battery and full speed) and nothnig happened. But now windows says it does not recognize my tablet.
did the same thing exactly. . bricked lenovo m10 fhd plus x600v after i flashed a downgrade version. dont try to downgrade this thing. i had already flashed it with 3 or 4 versions the same way , but when i chose to flash the oldest version available with the model , this tab got completly unresponsive , no feedback when try to boot into recovery, fastboot, or system . neither does it gets recognised in windows or anything - device manager dowsnt recognise this usb device ( in device manager properties comments it reads- USB\DEVICE_DESCRIPTOR_FAILURE). if you find a way to reflash the device please let us know. good luck .
Bricked mine after being completely running smoothly on Lineage, then was messing around trying to get gapps installed and jacked up the partitions. TWRP said no OS. Kept messing around and mistakenly locked the bootloader again with apparently an unverified boot partition. . I couldn't get SP Flash tool to work ever either. Pretty sure it's a door stop now.
