Does the blue light filter work in Dex mode? - Samsung Galaxy Note 9 Themes, Apps, and Mods

Is Samsung's "night mode" blue light filter available when you dock to Dex? Can somebody confirm with a screenshot of it working in the Dex environment? The settings are accessible via:
Code:
Settings > Display > Blue Light Filter > Turn on now

No it isn't supported, and also brightness level (obviously). The option is simply greyed out.

[Q] Auto brightness too dim even at +5

Hi to all,
i own an i9505 with (rooted) XXUAMDM firmware and in my opinion auto brightness is too dim even at +5; is there a tweak (for rooted) to increase brightness values without disable auto brightness feature?
(Of course Power saving mode is disabled and i have tried with "Auto adjust screen tone" on and off with no results)
Are auto brightness default values enough bright for you?
It's the same for me with ME2

Nobody has a solution? I also tested PlayStore's autobrightness apps but they are not faithfuls to light changes like stock one. It would be perfect to add "X" units to every value on stock autobrightness... but unfortunately i'm not able to do that... please devs help me/us
fix
I found a solution,
Go into Settings > My device> Display > Screen Mode>
Uncheck Adapt Display then choose Dynamic.
This should fix the issue.

I'm already on "Dynamic Mode" but it has no effect on brightness, i noticed only more vivid colors
It works on my I9505..

[Q] Adjust "Night Brightness: 12:00AM~6:00AM"

So on my stock T-Mobile LG Leon 4G LTE, I've noticed that once midnight rolls around the phone brightness drops to 0% and below the stock brightness slider on the drop-down menu it says "Night Brightness: 12:00AM~6:00AM" I've looked all over the phone and cannot for the life of me find where to change those numbers. I'd really like to use this feature more than just at midnight, lol. Is this an adjustable thing? Thanks.

I don't have "other screen settings"
Settings / Display / Brightness and disable night brightness in there.
Can you post a screenshot of what you see in that section?

HCQS Guide for Improve Your Galaxy Note 5’s Battery Life

Given how battery life is high on everybody's priorities when choosing a smartphone, it's only natural that people reacted that way. Samsung Note 5 A smaller battery, all things being equal, obviously means shorter run time for the juicer.
1.
Reduce that brightness!
That Samsung Galaxy Note 5’s 5.7-inch QHD screen is big, beautiful and bright. The only problem is that it is also a resource hog, and those are exactly the reasons why. If you really want to expand battery life, you should watch out for that screen. One way to continue enjoying your phone and save energy is to reduce brightness. It’s easy to do. And unless you spend a lot of time outdoors, chances are you are overdoing the brightness, anyways.
2. note 5 ultra power saving mode
Use Ultra Power Saving Mode
Go to Settings > System > Power Saving > Ultra Power Saving Mode > On. You can enable or disable apps like: “Phone”, “Messages”, “Internet” or tap “+” to add more apps in the ultra power saving mode.
3. note 5 display brightness and screen timeout
Reduce Screen Brightness & Screen Timeout
Go to Settings > Quick Settings > Display > Brightness > uncheck the Auto and drag the slide to the left to adjust the screen brightness. Also, set the Screen Timeout under the tap of Display.
4. note 5 smart stay
Toggle off Smart Stay
Go to Settings > Display > Smart Stay and toggle it off.
5. note 5 motions and gestures
Turn off Motions and Gestures
Go to Settings > Motions and Gestures and disable the 4 options.
6. Super AMOLED: more blacks, less whites
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 sports a gorgeous Super AMOLED screen. Colors are vibrant and blacks are super deep. This also means the screen uses much more energy to reproduce
lighter colors. In addition, picturing the color black will use no energy, as the pixel will technically be turned off (this is how AMOLED panels achieve such deep blacks).
7. note 5 abnormal battery usage
Check Abnormal Battery Usage
Go to Settings > Battery > Abnormal Battery Usage and monitor the battery draining apps, update, remove or reinstall them.
8. note 5 go grayscale
Go Grayscale
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Vision > and turn on Grayscale if you use the screen all the time, for example, reading.
9. disable wifi always scanning
Let Wi-Fi Scan While It is On
Go to Settings > Wi-Fi > More > Always allow scanning > Scan only while Wi-Fi is on.
10. note 5 vibrations
Set Vibrations
Go to Settings > Sound & Notifications > Vibrations and set the vibration intensity and other options according to your needs.
11. note 5 auto scan
Switch off Auto Scan
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Universal Switch > Settings > and switch off Auto Scan.
12. note 5 gesture wake up
Shut down Gesture Wake Up
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Dexterity and Interaction > and shut down Gesture Wake Up.
13. note 5 interaction control
Disable Interaction Control
Go to Settings > Accessibility > Dexterity and Interaction > and disable Interaction Control.
14. note 5 dark theme
Pick up a Dark Theme
The Galaxy Note 5 comes with an AMOLED display screen, which power saving capability works perfectly in a black background as it needs more power to visualize the white screen.
15. Remove or disable apps you don’t use
How many of you are app hoarders? I know I am. It’s easy to download and keep all those awesome apps in your phone, which is great if you use them all, but that is hardly ever the case. Look through your applications and uninstall whatever you don’t need. If you can’t uninstall them (bloatware), just disable them from the app manager.

How to control LED (resurrection remix)?

Hello, i'm on RR (i won't change!) and i tried LED Manager, Light Flow, XLight (XPOSED). None seem to work. Built in RR settings work FOR BATTERY ONLY. Strangely not for notification : it flashes white no matter which color i pick.. What can i use (and how)?
Search for "Notification Light" in settings. then untick "Choose colors automatically".
After doing so, you can customize every notification by holding your finger on that specific notification and clicking on gear icon, you can customize notification LED.
Indeed it works. But not perfectly : Unlike battery led setting that has full control (really, any subtle change is accepted), notification led setting only let you have basic color, some even being skipped, green and blue for example. I'm wondering.. please check!

This is kernel limitation I think.
You cannot change blink rate either, you can only choose "always on".
Thanks, I wanted to shut off all LED notifications at night. There are apps for this. But this seems like a better solution. I went to "settings" and searched on "led" and toggled off "notification light". I'm not sure how to test that it's working. But I sent myself an email and a text message and there are still no LEDs turned on. That's how I want it.
