I'm running ResurrectionRemix-M-v5.6.5-20160316 with the latest TWRP recovery and Xposed.
The last time I used the recovery was on 22/03 to make a backup of my ROM (I've entered the recovery more than a dozen times before this backup with no issues).
Today I wanted to switch from Ressurrection Remix to crDroid (Ressurrection for some reason becomes laggy after use and only a reboot resolves this issue).
I downloaded all of the zips I required (ROM, GAPPS, SU etc.)
I selected to reboot to recovery using the advanced reboot option.
The phone rebooted and displayed recovery booting in blue as per the norm.
The TWRP splash screen showed for around 10 sec or so then the phone rebooted (this never happened before).
Thinking that this was a bug with the recovery, I tried turned off the phone via the power menu once my I got into MM and then removed the battery and used the power + up button combo to enter recovery however still no go.
Next I tried flashing the TWRP 3.0.0.tar file via odin, still no luck.
The question I have is how do I resolve the issue?
Try flashing a different version of TWRP.
Or flash an twrp.img file via the app Flashify.
Ok to downgrade?

So it's ok to downgrade to say 2.8.60 with F2FS support?

I found a custom version of the recovery made by the JDC team http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal.../jdcteam-twrp-touch-recovery-3-0-0-0-t3312115.
I flashed the recovery using flashify.
All fixed now
Last night I root my moto G4 plus (XT1643) Latest Nougat nd when i go to Twrp Recovery nd do wipe data Factory Resset but Now I reboot my phone it directly goes into twrp recovery not seeing my phone bootloader directly goes to twrp recovery nd says No OS installed plz tell me what i do sorry for my bad english

There is nothing wrong with your bootloader, otherwise it wouldnt boot in twrp either. You probably wiped your system partition. Download any custom rom and gapps and fash them.
After I flashed rr 7.1.2 my moto g5 plus it boots into recovery unless I go into fastboot and start. Any suggestions on how to solve this?
You have a nandroid backup? maybe restore your boot image
or clean flash(again) your Rom RR.

i've installed on my Xiaomi mi a1 the pixel experience rom, so bootloader unlocked , but i have serious problem to install twrp, i've
booted twrp and changed slot a partition to slot b then installed twrp , rebooted to recovery and installed magisk in order to get root.
Seems that works fine but when i try to install last system update ( download from phone e reboot to recovery) , i always get error 255.
So in order to install the last update i've to re-boot recovery twrp , install new update then install again twrp and magisk, what's wrong ?
So I was trying to root my phone (Moto G4) using TWRP and Magisk but then when I tried to reboot it, it didn't work. So I went in and resetted the date (wiped data) and ticked the system data as well.
My phone can still access TWRP recovery mode as well as the bootloader screen. Flash is unlocked.
When I try to reboot it, nothing happens. It says "No OS installed! Are you sure you wish to reboot?"
Where do I find ROM for my Moto G4? Or is it forever gone?

i tried mounting in TWRP but it won't let me tick USB one, so I couldn't flash the file on my pc.

This is the latest official build, got it from an XDA thread
G4 and G4Plus use the same software.
You can install it from TWRP (last official release), make sure you mount system first and wipe all the partitions you can.
Later you can flash Magisk.
