For now i tested these ROMs:
Arrow OS based on android 8.1 and it works with some screen backlighting problems
Pixel Experience 8.1 boots it works with some screen backlighting problems
Pixel Experience 8.1 + Magisk+ Xposed + Android pify
Tried roms
MIUI10 8.1 not booting
Pixel 2 PR2 image not booting
List of ROMs to try:
Other sgsi or gsi
if you succesfully booted another ROM and it is almost fully usable just answer here.:silly:

I try this
Havoc 9.0 (my daily driver )
Arrow 9.0 (good but no much customization)
Bootlegger 9.0 (not booted)
RR phhusson 8.1 (fp bugs touch everywhere)
Dot os 8.1 (same as RR)
All roms treble bug :
Screen flickering on brightness value changed.
Im using miui 10 vendor. If using miui 9 vendor i faced sound distortion issue on 9.0 roms

It works, but have microlags

PE Pie and phh AOSP Pie are working with LOS Vendor but Camera not working in AOSP, Notch doesn't fit in both and VoLTE not working, but I think this is more or less normal in GSI ROM.
Generally all GSI should work now with LOS Vendor but they'll all will have their Probs
Hopefully there is more Development coming to Tulip now that there is (unofficial) LOS

Hi. Can you please provide a step by step guide on how to flash a Treble GSI? I have read up about the process on XDA but I just want to make sure that I do the process for my device correctly. I'm running MIUI 10.0.5.0 with bootloader unlocked and Stock MIUI Recovery.

Strange, you are the only one with black screen and only you with dirty flash... Maybe you have wrong firmware.. Same rom, same base but different firmware.. It's rude to say something like don't use this rom.
For example, official rr use 3.2.8 firmware and unofficial open beta 10..same base but different firmware.. Try clean flash..
Wasn't there already a lineageos thread with unofficial builds?

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review.

Thx for this great advance, maybe a kinder question but better do it, just for understand correctly this and should be useful for other users, by i.e. if I find a custom rom for other device with treble implemented like Huawei I can flash it for this device? but I suppose that only system.img or system.new-dat (if exists in this format) but not the other files in the zip like boot, modem, etc. cause these files can brick device; I´m right?

First time installing crDroid to your Redmi Note 5/Redmi 5 Plus, or coming from another ROM:
** Make sure you're running a proper working Recovery (CWM or TWRP)
1) Copy crDroid zip, gapps zip to your device
2) Boot into Recovery
3) Wipe cache, system, & data (or just cache & system for a dirty flash).
4) Flash ROM
8) Flash gapps
9) Boot up
For root, AFTER you boot into the ROM, you can go back to recovery and install Magisk XX.x (whatever is most recent).
Upgrading from earlier version of crDroid:
The only difference between clean flash as above and upgrading is you just wipe system & cache, leaving data. Everything else is the same. ***Remember to always clean flash before reporting problems. Clean flashing is always the best method of ROM install.

So the correct steps are:
Install recowery treble / complete cleaning / installation rom / gaps / magisk / reboot.:good:
Or can you use another recovey? if it is not remove the link recovery 3.2.1.0. because it is supposed to be already installed.
Anyway, thanks for the hard work.

What do you mean by GSI? new firmware?
At this point you can update firmware before installing rom because recovery TWRP 3.2.1.0 (official) allows the installation of new firmware.
I apologize for many questions but it is to clarify everyone.

Use the latest official TWRP i.e. 3.2.x for flashing ROMs. And for flashing treble GSI, use treble supported recovery. Links in OP!

Nope. Clean flash
navbar gestures
Why does navigation bar pie in gestures disappears from options navigation bars at third boot ? :silly:
this rom does not work on redmi 5 plus, the non-stop cr droid 5.0 phone is restarted
Is gesture navigation included?
I mean full-screen navigation?
Everything is working in this rom. Volte working perfectly even after 3-4 reboots. No lags as such....rom is really smooth. IR blaster works.
No errors or bugs encountered till now in 1-1/2 hours of usage.
Yay , hope this along time. Perfect aosp rom

Which TWRP are you using? Please use the recommended TWRP recovery. And also please provide logs.
How to install TWRP Treble from TWRP official?
Using cdDroid 4.7 and official twrp right now. How to install vince_treble_twrp-jay-port-v3.img from there? Is there a flashable zip file?
Or do I have to go with the fastboot method?

I am not too sure as my phone company does not provide VoLTE service. I think likely not as I do not see any setting for VoLTE in the setting.
