Logo.bin - Huawei P Smart Questions & Answers

someone knows how to have the factory logo.bin after unlocking the bootloader

In /product/etc/media there is a file called "bootanimation.zip" that contains the boot animation (System part, not the Boot one).

Ok, so you refer to the "bootloader" logo. From what I've read on other threads every tries to change that logo or parts of the Bootloader code to do anything else, ends up with a bricked device! So the actual situation is: you have to see that ugly BL screen remembering you that your phone is "insecure". You know! But better that screen but unlocked, that a beautiful logo but locked and a dumb device!
At least, for now!

You can do the logo.bin factory, as do the Motorola

World Cup Boot Animation BIN file?

Does anyone have the pink World Cup bootloader screen with "Powered by Android" at the bottom?
I need it as a .bin file.
are you looking for the boot logo for an unlocked bootloader? (Logo.bin) see Logo-WC-logo.bmp.bin inside -> X-LogoBins.zip (to convert or make your own see -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53098892&postcount=355 )
The bootlogo for a LOCKED bootloader? (Clogo.bmp) see WC-Logo.bmp in X-LogoBins.zip
Or the actual boot animation?

I unlocked the bootloader and then re-locked it. But for some reason the warning still shows up when the phone first boots.
So I want to change the warning image to a stock boot image. I tried flashing the .bmp image, but the result was a teal colored screen with a black square in the middle. When I flashed a .bin file, it worked fine. So does that mean that the bootloader is still unlocked?

If you just took a BMP and did a mfastboot flash logo test.bmp... Yeah, that doesn't work. Unlike the CLOGO patition/graphic which is used when the bootloader is in the "out of the box" LOCKED state, the LOGO partition/graphic is a specially formatted and encoded graphic. If you use a regular BMP,at the very least the color mapping will be wrong when you boot.
As stated here -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=53098892&postcount=355 ....

(for a full update on CLOGO and LOGO, the difference, how to create, etc. see what I posted at -> http://mark.cdmaforums.com/MotoX-Bootlogo.htm )
LOGO/LOGO.BIN is used on phones which have had their bootloaders unlocked or relocked.

To be more specific and repeat something I have posted elsewhere before...
There are only 3 states for the bootloader... LOCKED (as it ships from the factory), Unlocked (if you used your unique code and mfastboot oem unlock uniquecode), and Relocked (if you execute mfasboot oem lock). We can only toggle it to Unlocked and Relocked. We can't set it back to Locked.
So if you keep getting the unlocked warning when you boot with the stock LOGO.BIN on your phone, that is normal if you have unlocked and relocked your bootloader.

No Warning Text for Lollipop

This is remarkably similar to what Helvio88 did, and his 4.4.4 mod may well work, however, in the name of ROM continuity I edited the logo.bin from SolarTrans' Lollipop update thread.
Extract zip/ boot into bootloader/ place logo.bin in your fastboot folder:
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
fastboot reboot

Thanks for this! I really hated seeing that Unlocked Bootloader logo
EDIT: Shouldn't need this, but flash successfully and everything is running great!

Glad it worked for you. I've never liked the bootloader warning.

Remove unlocked message - with the correct Motorola logo...

I made a proper logo.bin to remove the unlocked message. This is from the 5.1 stock firmware, so it's the correct Motorola logo. Flash using fastboot:
Code:
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
Thanks! He had tried others and this has just like the stock bootloader

How did you make the logo.bin? I'd like to create my own custom one, but haven't had much luck finding (or maybe understanding?) any info.
Some one have the original bootloader? after flashing this my devices restart some times and when i put it to charge, bootloader turns on
Can someone make a black background on the logo so it doesn't burn my eyes out everytime I start the phone in the dark?
Seems to work great, I flashed it when I had already flashed one of the other logo.bins.
It has a really clean smooth look to it, it seems to effect more then the boot logo, the bootloader theme seems to be stored in the logo.bin
Or the bootloader menu stores its graphics in logo.bin too and flashing a older logo.bin breaks the button graphics, I'm not sure.
I have a XT1527 that was updated with the 5.1 update (though I'm running CM now), and flashing one of the other logo.bins changed my bootloader menu graphics in a minor cosmetic way,
flashing this didn't just mod the bootloader logo, it also restored the bootloader menu (volume down + power) button graphics to how I remember them.

Hey i made one and flashed my Moto E rev2 (XT1527) and it seems ok.
I don't know how i can share it here though i am a new user,
what i did was i extracted the images with a white background (3x)
then i inverted the colors but replaced the Moto logo with the exact original color
then put back the original color red lines on the battery images.
then i used fastboot to flash it and i tested.
Starting from the recovery menu and on a reboot and also plugged in charging.
hooray stock logo but black
i was thinking the same thing lol
I used MotoBootLogoMaker (Custom option) with the logo posted by the OP.
The forum download link for it came up as nginx 404.
but i found the dev's github page and downloaded a compiled build v2.3.1020.0513
And i used Adobe Fireworks to make (flattened) PNG's
let me know how i am suppose to share it and i will post it.
Oh.. i don't know how to change the animated Boot Logo part though sorry..
thanks for sharing OP !

Yes, probably. There is a tool to make any logo with any Moto resolution, and after that can be flashed via fastboot.

Is it possible to relock the booloader and have its status back to 1?

It's probably similar to Samsung's Knox which can't be reset but once you unlock the bootloader, is it possible to relock it and have its status back to 1 without a warning message every time you boot (and without having to install a logo.bin file that makes my fastboot look and behave weird and buggy)?

It's not possible. We have already tried in different ways but We aren't able to relock to the very first status

Alright thanks! I found the MotoBootLogoMaker on here and I've flashed a logo.bin without the warning. That's perfect for me!

So did you search a way to lock back bootloader or simply a logo.bin for removing warning on boot? Because they are different

Thanks for the tip. I did both actually. I relocked the bootloader (the status is 2) and then flashed my modified logo.bin to remove the warning. It's just for me, not to sell it or try to send it back to Motorola so the status doesn't really matter to me.

Relocking of bootloader

I wanted to relock the bootloader of my Moto G4 Plus as now I'm in no need of root now. And even want to remove the logo which says my bootloader is unlocked.. I used the code but it is not working still pls help me out
i think you are in the wrong section but nvm. for removing the annoying boot logo you can flash the logo bin
Code:
fastboot flash logo logo.bin
in fastboot mode where "logo.bin" is the filename.bin. you can find the logos at this link
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/themes/customized-logo-t3451349
or if you want some more cooler ones just search around.
Now comes to relocking bootloader, you must give more info(what phone you are using) and from where you got the link and what commands you pressed. you can follow this link which uses dec update or (if you check last messages even the feb update though i would recommend dec)
https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/stock-rom-npjs25-93-14-4-march-1-t3608138
and then use the commands given in the code OR the
Code:
OEM Lock file
