I have been using dock4droid for years and live it. The only issue I have is the icons for some apps just show up as blue squares. I know I my note 8 I changed the theme on the phone and the icons showed up. Is there anyway to do that or a fix without rooting device?
Has anyone figured this out or use this app? Great app just hate the blue app icons.

How do you change the app icon picture? I am rooted and running cyanogen nightly 110 with launcher pro. Yes I can change the dock icon but not the screen icon, it does not give you anything option to change to custom icon.......This question only few of you might know what I'm talking about.

if you are rooted and not afraid of getting you hands dirty a bit, you can try using ninjamorph to change the icon permanently. It can replace any files you would like within a given application. If you like customization i recommend trying it. Ive changed icons, different color rosie buttons, and also icons in the status bar.
Attaching a recent screen shot showing custom folder icons. I remember doing this about 6 months ago, however I don't remember how the heck I did it!
I'm on 7.1.2 (rooted, stock) and have always used Nova Launcher since Marshmallow. I could have sworn I used Zedge but see that app can only change app icons.
I'm pretty sure if I used an app it's still on my phone since I'm not really one to change apps that much. I have several icon apps but like Zedge, they only change app icons.
Anyone know if I missed/forgot about a feature in Nova that can do this?

**Figured it out! Doh! Just tap the icon after choosing edit.
Hello everybody, I hope that everyone is enjoying their new KeyONE (for those that have theirs). I use the app "Glassdoor" and the app icon doesn't show up. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app, clearing cache through the app and for BlackBerry Launcher and it still doesn't show up. Is there anyone that has had this issue in the past on this device or any using BlackBerry Launcher? I've attached a screenshot showing the issue.

Did you try installing a different launch (i.e. nova)and seeing if there is an icon or not. Also try the dark theme in case the icon is white and you just can't see it since the background is all white.
Tried all that. Factory reset seemed to do the trick
Been using my replacement phone now for a few days. The thing which is annoying me the most is when I can certain Notifications through the icons are white squares and not the icons of the certain app. Does any one know how to fix this. Thank you.

Sorry for the title but can't find the name of this thing.
Because of the ****ty OnePlus weather app I have a blue font when I slide from the top since the update of Android 11. Hadn't this font before was dark with Android 10.
Now can't remove it even with the weather app not installed... Tried dark mode as well with app but the app doesn't appear in dark mode menu...
Any ideas guys ?

I just got it today too, from the launcher update. Kind of ruined the idea of dark mode. Hopefully it will be fixed this week. But then again, devs never listen to us users. I use a much better weather app, so pre-installed weather is always removed from my phones.
