I think it is (kind of) !
Don't know if this is due to i took night shot after very long time or i'm found of 2015 smart phone's camera samples or may be just it's this update but night shot aren't much pretty..thay are okay but should be better

I also have no problems with HDR+
Doesn't install on my n5 marshmallow rom. Get app not installed message
Everything is working. Looks like video recording is better. But looks like camera focusing is worst. Imo
The problem with HDR+ is if you have flash on, you have the option to turn both flash and HDR+ on at the same time but doing so will result in dark almost black photos, turn flash off and it should work normally

MIUI have it, but I'd like to have it in custom ROMs too.

Thanks, but I don't know why Camera FV-5 doesn't even have manual focus
Mabye I'll try with custom ROMs, but with MIUI no manual focus.

I know that mostly Custom ROMs have Snapdragon camera, I was saying that mabye I'll try to use Camera FV-5 on some custom to see if there will be manual focus at least (I don't think there will be focus peaking tho). In MIUI installing FV-5 there's not even manual focus, instead on MIUI camera app there's manual focus and focus peaking too.

After Leaving MIUI 8 and choosing CM13 on my mi4i , i just felt miui camera app is awesome. A d after 2 weeks trying every 3rd party camera app, luckily i found a good alternative to this, and that is OPPO camera mod, you can find oppo camera app searching in threads. That works great but i have downloaded a oppo camera version that looks same as R7 camera app. You can try that searching in forums.

Probably I tried some Oppo camera with my Mi4, but I can't remember well.
I'll definitely give it a try, anyway I guess there will not be focus peaking feature.

Actually, Oppo camera app have more features than miui camera app, like HDR, HD pic (more sturations for cropping), slow shutter (lightning painting), Gif, doubke exposure etc etc... All you need is to download 2 apks, 1 for app 1 for plugins.. thats it. I HAVE UPLOADED 2 CAMERA APP INTERFACE SCREEN SHOTS. THATS Mi4i. CM13

Try footej camera from play store, to me its perfect and raw images are quite beautiful. I am using camera api 2

If you enable camera2 api, all apps that support it will work. Otherwise, only MIUI camera has it (proprietary api?).

Hello guys its my first post here, its been a while with xiaomi & all went pretty well since I bought it. My question here is if someone knows when it should come the update on Instagram enabling portrait mode because its strange that a phone that has portrait mode on the camera keeps without updating on Instagram. If someone knows if its coming to Xiaomi or when is it coming would be cool. :laugh::laugh:

You could use the Google Camera portrait mode. It works pretty well in my experience.

Yeah thats what im using its just its strange that the Portrait Mode inside Instagram its not enabled yet for Xiaomi :S
Just wanted to know if others are having the same issue or not. If I'm the only one then what to do?

Fully working port of night sight will only be available when we get pie update, for now you can use any older port. You will be having issues with night sight port so I won't recommend it.

I've noticed that night works much better when Pixel AWB is turned on from the settings. However, please note that the video recording isn't working for me with this version. This one is mainly for Night Sight and Super res zoom etc.
