ROM Reviews
Here is a review of every lollipop ROM and Kernel released for the Xperia SP in a nutshell.
You can choose what's best for you , no matter if you're LBL or UBL, I've included both!
I've tested every ROM and this is all accounted from personal experience and opinions from experienced developers and users.
Introducing the Number System
The number system will let you understand the ROM better. A 10/10 score for performance means there are absolutely no hiccups or lags. A 10/10 score for customizability means that the ROM can be made look new through the stock settings app. A 10/10 score for battery is for batteries that are outstanding that last seriously long, which means you won't need to worry about battery drain!
Also, when there is a "10" awarded to a ROM, that doesn't mean its absolutely perfect. It means its the best so far.
Quick Note: it's advised to use TWRP when flashing a lollipop ROM.

FAQs
1. Why don't I have root access?
First of all, check if your ROM has allowed root access (because some ROMs don't come pre-rooted because some people prefer security). Then Go to "Settings", "Developer Options" (Which can be enabled by tapping on the "Build Number" multiple times in the "About Phone" section) then scroll down to "Root Access" and enable "Apps and ADB".
If your ROM has decided not to include Root, Flash the SuperSU update file here.
2. Baseband missing after flashing Tangerine Kernel 2.3+
Tangerine was updated recently to 3.0 which solved this issue but it doesn't work on all ROMs. ROMs like BlissPop have issues with Tangerine.
3. ROM begins to get laggy after a while.
Try to maintain your device by using apps like "SD Maid" from the Google Play Store. Also, install "Greenify" from the Play Store as well and hibernate the apps that take up too much RAM which you won't mind killing. This helps the SP run smoothly while having heavy apps such as "Facebook" and "Messenger" installed. NOTE: Updated versions of Greenify now support Xposed and works fine on 5.1.1 (tried it myself).
4. I flashed Tangerine Kernel and I'm in a bootloop?
Yeah, not all ROMs are compatible by tangerine and at times developers block out custom kernels to keep a fluid stock experience (so that kernel issues aren't reported in their threads). So far the only ROMs that cause bootloops due to Tangerine is Dirty Unicorns. The way to get out of the boot loop is to restart from the reset button behind the cover of the SP and boot into recovery. Then dirty flash the ROM build you are currently using. Or flash the Kernel using a PC and boot up.
5. I have issues with calls and my torch isn't working!
Don't panic, theres a flashable fix provided by @Kordius
Which can be found riiiiight here.
6. Unresponsive Touch Fixes?
Quite some users have been experiencing unresponsive touch on Lollipop ROMs, which can be incredibly frustrating. Put there is an app called "Glove Xperia" which can be found on the Play Store which can solve your problem.
7. Screen Flicker!
Screen flicker has been a problem for a lot of people since stock 4.3 . Solved! from changes in sources, update your ROM if an update is available. If the problem persists, disable HW Overlays from Developer Settings.
8. Why Didn't I Get The "Welcome" Screen During the First Boot?
You need to flash the appropriate gapps while flashing the ROM before the first boot to reach the "Welcome" screen.
9. Forgot to Flash Tangerine, Stuck with Cyanogen Recovery
Noticed that you can't flash Tangerine through the Cyanogen Recovery? Everyone did. There are quite a few solutions but the easiest is to download "Rashr" from the Google Play Store and install the PhilZ recovery. Although this isn't the best method, it is good enough for flashing for the moment.
8. Discolight Doesn't Work with 5.1?
Discolight has been updated to work with 5.x ROMs. Help report bugs and improve the app by dropping suggestions to the developer Get Discolight Lollipop
9. What Xposed works with 5.1?
The Unofficial Xposed only works with 5.1 at the moment. Make sure to follow the instructions properly when installing to avoid conflict. Unofficial Xposed for 5.1: http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/super-alpha-posted-permission-xposed-t3072979
10. I don't want 3 LEDs!
With the new updates of ROMs, came the full support for the illumination bar. But not all people preferred it (cuz it was too bright, burned their eyes, became a star and replaced the sun). If you are one of them, check this thread by @Adrian DC to get back stock-like illuminations
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=61783796
11. Media Storage Issues! (Duplicate Files, Media App FCs)
music apps fcs and media files duplicates issue can be solved by following steps proved by @dicks93277
1. go to settings>apps>all
2.find media storage
3.wipe data
4.reboot
5.wait for media scanner to scan all your files (I usually wait for about 5 mins)
6.go to music app or ringtone settings and check
12.What on Earth are the CM12.1 Addons?
The CM12.1 Addons by @Adrian DC are add ons that are meant to be flashed with each update from official CM to give you the best experience. The great standard kernel found in other ROMs, Doze Gestures, and other little goodies! If you're on CM12.1, this is a must have!

Its fine, you can ask that here.
I'd recommend smartassv2 because it saves battery without sacrificing performance

Thanks for noticing that I missed out that bit! Vanir actually has a really good battery performance with performance demanding kernels. Can last you a whole day without charging.

As I cannot jump from ROM to ROM all the time as some ROMs release updates way too fast, I have decided to stop at Milestone 1 for a while.
