Did you try to install Oreo again? What's results did you get?

You have to select upgrade instead of refurbish. I did it yesterday and works well. I could reach again 6 sot on nougat

Or should I use LG flash tool
and click normal flash to keep data? Which is better and I wonder if I must download drivers?
Which way is better LG up or LG flash tool? And which steps I have to follow. I already have stock .kdz downloaded. Please help to downgrade to Nougat. I have G6+ H870DSU

I get the error 0x2BC
Hi,

I've the bl unlocked.

Everything seems to be running smooth, except for an error which pops up on after restart/shutdown. The message reads " this build is not for end user" once you get pass the error message, everything else is smooth and normal.
My question to you is, if the error is expected and if i can still avail official OTA from LG or should I have to roll back to Lollypop manually and then upgrade?

As per the news LG is rolling out official marshmallow to users only through LG Bridge only not OTA update.
The question to your answer will be revealed once you recieve official marshmallow to your device on LG Bridge.
But if marshmallow is officially released in your place and when you sync the device with LG Bridge if you get it is up to date then you have to download your official .KDZ file of your device and flash as you did now.No need to roll back Lollipop again...

I'll be uploading and posting today. Please take note that this firmware is not in kdz or TOT format. Rather, this package consists of .img files for all the device partitions. It can be flashed using the engineer version of LG-UP or, alternatively, a kdz compiler can be used to create a kdz firmware package for flashing with the LG Flash Tool. All firmware images are pure and untouched.
LG Stylo 3 (LS777)
Boost Mobile variant
Stock Android 7.0 Firmware
Build No. NRD90U
Kernel Version: 3.18.31
Software Version: LS777ZVE
Radio: MPSS.TA.2.3.c4-00034-8940_GEN_PACK-1
Security Patch Level: July 1, 2018
This is an unmodified stock firmware package for the LG Stylo 3 -- LS777 variant only. This package IS NOT a TOT or kdz package. Rather, this package contains untouched partition images (.img). This can be installed using the engineering version of LG-UP by selecting the "Partition DL" option and then flashing each individual partition; or, you can use a kdz or TOT compiler utility to create a firmware package flashable with the LG Flash Tool.

Use caution attempting systemless root. The stock boot image can be patched with Magisk and pushed to the device with LG-UP. However, to prevent a secure boot error from occuring, you will first need to modify the bootchain (/aboot) by using an insecure /aboot configuration.

Hello. Great news from me ?

Its like this:
Just download latest 20p firmware and flash it via lgup 1.14 and uppercut. First set lgup to refurbish and click start. Phone will go to download mode and start flashing. It will give known error *kdz not supporting refurbish* and stop on 4%. Do not exit from download mode on phone. Reopen uppercut and flash 20p firmware in upgrade mode and wait.
After flashing make factory reset phone and voila U have 20p firmware without cust error message

have changed my fw from 20k open EU to 20 p EEE for GB now. (but device was rooted!) No problems until now.
security level (as expected) Sep. 01/2017
Edit:

Now i have no problems with BT and my secure level is 9.2017

i recommand to update your whole cust folder with all other folders in it at first before updating to 20p!!
You should restore cust folder from 20c ( or your old version!) after backup!
And of curse edit your cust_path_mapping.cfg to your country code ( for me it was ffffffff,11 )
you will find your code entering *#546368#*850#
without this steps, i had many problems with system stability and BT!!!

Cust folder is market depending for provider apps, network settings or similar. Firmware is same for all g5 h850 and hardware also.

I am new here i dont know what is V2 firmwarefile. Can you explain what is V2 firmware?? Thanks you for advise:fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
I mean the bootloader version that is written in the firmware name i.e in G935FXXU2DRAG, 2 is the bootloader version of the firmware after U letter and if you are already on version 2 bootloader, you cannot flash a firmware which has 1 in place of 2..

Ok Thanks you bro!!!!:fingers-crossed::good:
This is useful! I tried to downgrade from 8.0 to 7.0 and bricked my device, luckily I could restore the same version I had before... even SmartSwitch don't give a damn about my device anymore.
If you have bootloader version which says XXS2 then you can't downgrade to Marshmallow and initial Nougat firmwares released till December 2017.
However, if you never upgraded your bootloader to v2 (like me), then you can downgrade to even Marshmallow without any issues. Check my phone screenshot. I am running latest Oreo firmware on v1 bootloader without any issues.

Flash the full Oreo firmware without the BL tab, then you will be downgrading to Oreo but you will still keep the Pie bootloader.
Also if you do want to downgrade the bootloader I found this thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/how-to/guide-skipping-kg-prenormal-oneui-t3911862/amp/

No, I have not tried it but I thought it might work. Try downgrading the bootloader via this method https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/how-to/guide-skipping-kg-prenormal-oneui-t3911862
I think you can also get heimdall on Windows
Edit: I found the heimdall download page here: https://glassechidna.com.au/heimdall/
If that doesn't work I also found this thread about downgrading the bootloader with combo firmware: https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s8/help/method-to-downgrade-galaxy-s8-to-oreo-t3946240/amp/ You just have to find a combo firmware with the same binary version as your current firmware.
Downgrading the bootloader is really hard on Samsung devices if possible at all

Your device is on a bit 7 bootloader. The firmware you are trying to flash is a revision 3. You cannot downgrade your revision. 5th digit from far right end in firmware is your software revision
hi i have a sm-g955f
with g955fxxs7dta6 base band
can i downgrade from android 9 to android 8?

Same as post as above yours check all the Android 8 firmwares if they are the same bit number as Android 9 then yes. If not. No
so in my case I have to find a custom android 8 rom with bit 7?
and if I put a custom rom with a lower rev bit can I downgrade?
having rooted and having twrp?
if it has knox, most likely not
[QUOTE = "avipars, post: 84174127, member: 7551187"]
se ha knox, molto probabilmente no
[/CITAZIONE]
knox is 0x1 therefore no guarantee
