I just recently got a Nokia Lumia 520 from a friend. the phone randomly loses mobile connectivity and then gets it back after a few minutes.
I've tried flashing via power + volume buttons, using the windows mobile recovery tool but the problem is still there.
Anyone with a solution?

Now I am using Xplode latest Rom and I use it very smooth however now I found the problem when I use GARMIN Mobile XT with GPS Mobile 10 the problem just occur when I turn off or the BA can't find mobile 10 over the bluetooth even turn off or not in range or even it hang out (have to take off battery to recover). If you exit the program before it can link with Mobile 10 then the problem will occur.
The problem is the PHONE module will hang out you can't make any call both incoming and outgoing call at all. You will not know this error until you make a call to someone then you will see the phone icon over the signal but after a few second of no response you just press end call button the phone signal still there. Even I try to go on flight mode this phone icon still there the only way is to reset the BA.
Now I am very sure that the problem come from Mobile XT and Mobile 10 of GARMIN. If some of you have Mobile 10 please also try out I also would like to know the result on this as well.
I am very sure that not because Xplode ROM for sure coz I ever try Pdaviet and Helmi already. The point should be from Radio ROM but I also try the original one with the phone, 1.12 and 1.15 already all of them not help at all. I even try only Hard Reset then only Mobile XT in the system.

this is the problem with the bluetooth. after connecting to any gps device... the phone stops working... like u said... u don't receive any calls and when u try to make a call... it just hangs like that and can not even end that call.
u don't hv to take out the battery... just do a soft reset.
but with me it does not happen always... just some times.
I just take off GPS battery coz sometime Mobile 10 also freeze. But what I don't understand is Bluetooth still can be used properly but the phone is out of service such an unbelievable action.

I ran the Win 7 RC for a good 9 months with no issue at all syncing. I don't even remember having to download the Window Mobile Device Center software but maybe I did. But it worked fine and never an issue.
This March I installed Win 7 Home Premium, to get the Phone to Sycn I had to download the Mobile Device Center software which obviously I did. And it Sync's.
This is the wierd stuff. It always renames my device. Every time! I keep it named as JETS_TYTN and it's been like that for years. Now after a sync at home its renamed to WINDOWMOBILE67 with the last 2 numbers changing most everytime. So when I get to work so I don't lose my Data, I rename it back to my JETS_TYTN and then sync with my Work PC.
Win 7 RC did not do this. I cannot find a setting anywhere to prevent it from doing this.
Anyone else ever have this issue?

Hi, I Just bought a new wildfire, rooted and installed clockworks recovery plus installed the WildPuzzleROM_2.1 Eclair v1.0.1
I noticed a strange problem; When I turn on the WIFI and the mobile auto-locks the screen, when I unlock the screen (after aound 15 mins , I find a limited service note, which means that i lost the GSM/3G reception.
Any ideas if this is an HTC Bug/ROM Bug or a misconfiguration in my Handset?

Is it set to wcdma only?

Hy guys, maybe I have a problem on my terminal: when I am in a phone call it happens that he cut off the conversation without pressing the end button (even if on speaker and phone on the table, nobody touching it).
It did twice of self reboot since I bought it ( some months) and no one since long time, so I don't think it's MB fault... At least I hope...

Developer unlocked (through registry), flashed firmware from Vodafone it to TIM then OPEN... (But I think doesn't matter the firmware), Already tried to reboot and battery pull....
One last thing, it happened, couple of times since I have it that he showed instead of signal bars a simbol with SIM and a logged signal, like "invalid SIM"... Went in offline mode than back online and back working, no restart required

Usually if 3g is on and you can't pick up 3g signam it keep cutting out, so if I'm not getting proper 3g signal I switch 3g off in the settings and everythings works ok.

I have the same problem, even after a reflash it drops calls, and sometimes has problems reconnecting. My operator is WIND, something tells me it's relevant... Awful signal and audio quality!
If its running in 3gmode and looses 3G signal--> call drops because the phone is registering in the network over GSM again
Hello to everyone. How do I upgrade my Nokia Lumia 520 from windows 8 to windows 10?
You can upgrade your Lumia 520 to Windows 10 mobile making some changes to the registry (you need to interop unlock your phone).
Warning: Windows 10 mobile works very slow in Nokia Lumia 520 and the phone get very hot. I had to increase Page File to increase a little bit the speed.
Also, when you update to Windows 10 mobile you can get more updates, and if you install they you will get more updates of Windows 10 mobile. I think latest update you will get is to Windows 10 mobile is 1607, but latest updates break bluetooth and bright control.
I used this method and it worked to get Windows 10 mobile update, but be careful and don't do this in your main phone.
