[Q] miui themes ?

So emui is basically a modified miui rom..anyways is there a way to run miui themes or convert them from mtz to hwt? Thanks
Can anyone find ANY themes for EMUI 3.1 yet? Especially any with fonts embedded?
I still can't change fonts, or find new themes. Huawei has nothing on its sites, and it's as if the P8 (or EMUI 3.1) doesn't exist.

By using "themes" application on your P8 smartphone you can easily change some elements of the themes, but unfortunately not the font at the moment.
I found a lot of new themes with wallpapers or interesting icone packs

New p8 owner, i have a few little questions.

Hello,
First of all, great phone. Build quality and specs are superb, but that EMUI...is ok.
First thing i did was setup my nova launcher like i had it

Now for the questions!
1. i have the GRA - L09 version which seems to be able to have Android 6.0 and EMUI 4.0 correct?
I have this http://i67.tinypic.com/20tkl1t.png
its a branded tmobile version of 5.0.1. What do i need to flash first to be able to flash 6.0? i read that you cant just flash any version and that you have to be on a certain build to be able to flash 6.0-
please, if someone could elaborate a bit more.
2, whats up with the colored status bar? i noticed it works only in some stock apps and not in playstore etc.. Is it a nova launcher problem? because it seems its system wide.. looks a bit ugly when youre used to having it. It just picks the colour of my wallpaper so if my wp is red, on whats up is red aswell, its not picking the colour of the app. any fix for this?
thanks dear p8 people

Hello. About marshmallow (6.0) there is only beta version available, so for now i really dont recommend you to install it (downgrade could be difficult if are new in huawei system files). About status bar, its known bug of system, in most apps its transparent, so it has collor like your desktop wallpaper, so we can just wait for fixed marshmallow which i hope will be released in about month. I tried beta and i can tell you its way better then current 5.0.1, so much faster, much more battery friendly ang very nice UI with no buggy status bar etc, but of course, there are some other bugs.
Hi loop!
First welcome to the Huawei universe! Hope you'll stay with us.
Now to answer your questions:
1) To update to Marshmallow & EMUI 4 (In a beta state obviously) you'll first have to debrand your device. I think some people explain how on this forum. Then you'll have to download the update files, put it in a dload folder, etc etc. Everything should be explained on the subject about this beta update.
2) You can remove this coloured status bar on EMUI 3.1 by using a live wallpaper or by making a transparent gradient on the top of your wallpaper. It'll have an 80% transparent shade however... I recommend you Every Stripes and Meter by Google. Used this two for a while and both work!
Or if you want you can download maximax's EMIUI theme. It has a wallpaper with that transparent gradient on top of it. (However it's not a material wallpaper. :/ )
Please note that in EMUI 4 the status bar won't have a blured colouration of your wallpaper. It'll be a "gradient" colouration (Just like on Kit Kat!) If you want it to change you can find a theme, open it using your favourite archive extractor, and find the status bar gradient file and make it fully transparent. (Did that with the EMIUI theme on both the navigation bar and status bar. Also made the status and navigation icons look more like stock Android. )
Hope I've been helpful to you! Have a nice day.
Hi,
I'm picking up a P8 tomorrow coming from a Galaxy S4 on Cyanogenmod and my only concern is the UI. Is there any ROMs or ways to bring the P8 closer to stock other then a launcher, I saw in a review that even with google now launcher it retained the Huawei icons. Is there any way to make these stock?
Thanks in advance!

Well im using nova with custom icons, check screenshot in my first post.
also, built in theme engine lets you change icons

Why it is difficult to get full versions of themes on p9lite

I had honor 4 c, then 5x.Now I have p9lite.It is seen that at official theme store , full theme versions are not available. As the same themes in honor and 5x are full. Now I am every time busy in finding full versions from web sites.Very annoying.
You can try theme from others devices, they just have to be from EMUI 4.x. Put the theme in the right folder and they will appear in the theme manager.

Best theme

Which is the Best Huawei P9 Emui 5.0 Thems ?
Pure black/Pure White/Pure Red etc..
ii tried number of themes but everyone have bugs like phone book font , gallery fonts etc...
I tries and notable some themes

Huawei Nova 2i - RNE-L22

Hi All,
I am looking to replace my increasing unreliable and aged Samsung Galaxy S5 with a Huawei Nova 2i. From some reading I have done, it seems that the Nova 2i is essentially the same as the Mate 10 lite as per a few article (New user, so I can't add links, sorry - Google "nova 2i rebranded mate 10 lite" and you will see the article). I am still unsure on a few details regarding installing Custom Androids etc, so thought I'd come to the experts.
Here are some specifics on devices:
Current Phone:
Samsung Galaxy S5 (SM-G900F with TWRP and Resurrection Remix Android Oreo)Replacement candidate:
Huawei Nova 2i (RNE-L22)
So what I am looking to know is the following:
Is the Nova 2i the same as the Mate 10 lite?
Can I install Resurrection Remix Oreo on this phone and is it a good option for this phone?
If I can install Resurrection Remix Android on this phone, where would I get the O/S to install?
If I can't install Resurrection Remix, what is a good low resource O/S Android Oreo I should consider that will work for this phone? (I want things as simple and clean as possible, I will install minimal Google Play/Services as and when required)
Thanks in advance for any help and excuse any details I may have missed that you need. I am still a bit new to this side of the tech world.

Yes, it's the same. However, you do not need to look for any custom Oreo ROM. Nova 2i already received Oreo official update (EMUI8.0).
I have this device and it's superb! I can play any games!
