If sou see a notch, run
3 stars because of the notch

I like the way it looks. The design of this makes their other phones look ancient. I can’t go back to a phone without a notch, they look so old.

I have a Essential PH-1 which unfortunately has a malfunctioning battery so I don't mind the notch. I like the way the phone looks and now that I'm on a GSM carrier I decided to try one out. I really like the PH-1 but Essential won't fix it so I now have a paperweight.

Sucks about your Ph-1. Mine has been great so far. You still like your Nokia 7.1? I need to make suggestions to my mom for her next phone and the Nokia looks promising. How has signal reception been for you? I've seen other camera samples and it looks promising.

Well I've only had it for a couple of days but so far so good. AT&T reception is about the same as my S8+, which where I live isn't great but that isn't the phones fault! Camera is good, no Samsung but not bad at all. The jury is still out on battery life as I've been messing around with it quite a bit and I've always found that Android phones need a few days to settle down battery wise.

In my opinion the phone is built better than my LG G6. Not bad for the price I paid. Only had it a few days but I love it.

Looks nice, sleek and modern. Don't mind the notch at all. I don't even notice it anymore during regular use.

So far loving it, had the s9+ before and gotta say definitely love it. Battery good for my use, camera, love the stock look. Waiting on my case to arrived and nano screen protector.

Price/Performens is the best i seen!
Best Mobile in this price group
Something's strange about this phone... I got it together with Xperia XZ2 from my operator and I have to say that I love both of them.
Motorola has some older CPU, mid class display but it gives this strange joy of use, even when used in parallel with much higher class device. Great experience.
So... overall love ? Yes, a big love
i get even more

I love the phone so far. The worst part of it is that it's a LG in all honesty. LG's Android skin is hot garbage. They're bloatware is annoying to say the least. The bootloader can't be unlocked. I haven't found a way to root it yet.
I really wish we could flash near stock Android on the phone. All the advantages of stock Android as well as duel screen functionality. That would be the dream.
speed and battery life is great, im trying to use the stock launcher, also i havent got into the dual screen too much so far, really miss the root capabilities on my op5, hope we get a good root guide
and man the audio is unbeatable.
Back to being a LG fan
I'm late to the game but I really like this phone, glad it's way better than the g7, purchsed it yesterday, glad to be away from Samsung.

The best phone I had sees the Sony Xperia Z Ultra. It feels sturdy and I like the heaviness (I am the kind of guy who add the keyboard extension to an Xbox controller for make it heavier). The battery doesn't drain on heavy use nether does it feel like a toaster in the hands. It is the smoothest experience I ever had.
I am not fan of cameras on phone, it can't compare to a true camera. So not having the best camera on this phone is not a problem. It does the job I need it to do.
Black crush is a bit annoying in some cases but I am sure it'll be fixed and I didn't experienced it often. Before this phone I had a Galaxy note 2, Galaxy S7 edge, HTC U Ultra and a Galaxy note 10 plus on hands but none of this phone gave me a woah effect. Until I got my hands on this phone.
Only regret is that this phone will never have a big community, so there will not have much things going on this forum. But even so I am a proud owner of this of the rog phone 3.
5* from me

I had a Xiaomi Mi 9 before this phone, and I like the ROG Phone 3 a lot more!
Even the cameras are better than the Mi 9's cameras, which means good enough for me.
As @bASKOU wrote, the ROG 3 is quite sturdy and heavy - that's fine! -, and it's quite well balanced, so you can use it one handed (plus there is a dedicated option for this too), the 6Ah battery is a WIN, coupled with the SD865+ SoC you can't deplete it in a day - I charge it once in like 3 or even 4 days!
Yeah, it's a niche phone, it will never be the tinkerers' dream, there won't be dozens of custom ROMs and kernels for it - but for me it's also not a problem, since it has stock Android 10 (let's hope that ASUS will update it soon to Android 11 ), and the stock launcher is snappy enough (still, I'm using Nova Launcher Prime, since I love it!).
The 144Hz display is good enough, even if it has black crush visible here and there - that's also not a dealbreaker for me.
I bought the 12/128GB Tencent version with the global ROM, which I was able to update to the latest global (WW) ROM - everything's fine, there are no stutters, everything feels buttery smooth...
So let's sum it: I love my ROG Phone 3, it's the phone of my dreams, it ticks all the checkboxes for me.
I'm coming off a Oneplus 7T, which is a great little phone.
The Rog 3 has made me forget about it completely (well almost, nostalgia aside).
Have definitely fallen hard for this device.
More so than any other phone I've owned (despite its short comings).
I look forward to a good couple of years, using my new Rog 3.

It's definitely punching above it's price tag! The screen and performance are spot on - and the battery life seems good enough for me. They just need to sort the camera software out!

Yes they should have the same camera software like the pixel and then you have a very good Camera .I think it is because of the programmed software that the camera cannot show its potential!
Battery life seems to be slightly worse than my 9month old OP 7T - this was after a week - so not the initial days high usage pattern.
Otherwise, I like the weight of the Nord vs the 7T and also the main camera seems to be marginally better.
I dont play games so not noticed any slowdown in every day usage.
The phone dialler app is also better IMHO

Right there with you on all of this.. Release time frame and lack of gift for all, kind of strange.
It's about time the EU countries got some love from Google. In the past our offers have been poor compared the the US. At launch and any discounts later on.
That and the poor currency conversion rate to £ or €

For the first time we get the better deal. There are still a few features that we don't get here in the UK though like the assistant calling stuff. We also don't even get some products like the new thermostat.
The new Chromecast with Google TV is £60 here which is $77. Pretty sure it's just $50 for you guys plus you have YouTube TV, it's not even an option here
Love it! Battery life seems beastly so far.
Yeah I'm in love with it! The screen, battery life and how smooth running the os is ?
Yep, really nice to get back to a smaller form phone. It has everything I want /need up to now....

Could not have said it better.
Love it. Don't be fooled from the "weaker Snapdragon 765G". UI is fluid af. Hats off to Google!
Battery life is unreal! Can't believe it after the disaster of the smaller Pixel 4 from last year ???
My Pixel 5 looks fantastic and hasn't skipped a beat. Fast, fluid and easy to use with one hand.
Best feature of the phone is the battery, for the first time on a smartphone I have managed 2 days on one charge. In comparison my Pixel 3XL would need a second charge in a day.
The consensus in the US is Jizz city. People our loving this phone. I must say it's nice after using it for a few days. Love the size. Size matters!
Overall good package. Nice size, smooth user experience, and great battery life.
Possible deal-breakers may be: buggy Android 11, no Miracast, no headphone jack, and possible screen gap defect.
God like phone, so damn smooth with the 90hz display.

Agreed. Other than when taking Night Mode pictures, I honestly haven't noticed any times where the phone felt slow.
I got rid of my 4 XL, I got sick and tired of nothing adopting the new API for biometrics, everything wants a fingerprint reader on android.
I love this thing, its not too big, not too small. Battery life is incredible. Tried and true pixel camera that takes great shots with no effort whatsoever. Feels fantastic in the hand with or without a case. Relatively cheap compared to current "flagships".
I listened to an entire 10 hour audiobook at work today ("the lost city of the monkey god", about 10.5 hours, incredible book if you're into archaeology) over bluetooth.... I was still at 68% battery, HOW IS THAT EVEN POSSIBLE!?
I actually really like the in-screen speaker. For phone calls, it doesn't matter how you position it against your ear and everything sounds great to my standards. I don't expect the sound of a 10" sub in this thing.... its a phone.
To me, the camera may be "stagnant", but it takes great shots.... every.single.time. I don't want some fancy super-zoom or 108Mp sensor that cant focus. I want to take good shots, every pixel has done that for me and the 5 is no different.
As far as I'm concerned, google has a winner on their hands. Everything I care about in a phone and nothing I don't for a price that I can't argue with.
Really nice package. Smooth and reliable.
