Stock axon 7 dialer apk - ZTE Axon 7 Questions & Answers

I'm looking for the axon 7 dialer apk, I can't seem to find it anywhere.
Can I install it on my rooted U version running 8.1 Aosp extended?
I'm using the google dialer, but it gives the option to assign a default sim for calls, but not the option to long pressing on a number to choose the other sim to initiate the call (like in the stock axon 7 dialer).
Thanks!

Sprint S4 stock dialer and other apps on 4.4.4 Google Edition by Danvdh,

I had a rooted stock 4.2.2 android on my Sprint galaxy s4 SPH-L720, just a couple days ago I installed customized GOOGLE EDITION 4.4.4 by Danvdh, Kryten2k35 & Ktoonsez found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2557353
The rom seems to be working well, very smooth and decent on battery, however there are a lot of the stock apps/features I miss. Some things like the quick menu, weather widget and voicemail app were just extremely useful, but I mainly miss the dialer. The one that came with the ROM will not let me accept calls without a bluetooth headset, all calls will go to VM which is a pain to get to with googlevoice.
I made backups with titanium backup, however that app will not run on the new rom. It says it needs the USB Debugging activated but I cannot find the option in the settings anywhere.

It won't work all Samsung apps require the TW framework witch is not part of the AOSP rom's.
P.S. to get USB Debugging you will have to go to about phone and press the build number a few times,
until it say's developer options enabled,
then press back and go into developer options there you will find USB Debugging.

asop problems

Having problems with my knock sensor. Using an aosp based ROM and cannot activate my phone using the knock sensor. Now I have read that using the code3845#*801# (T-Mobile phone) will let me update the firmware for the sensor. My problem with the code is that (according to other sources) I need to have the stock dialer to access the menu with that code. So is there anyone who can give me an idea of how to work around this one?
Just reread that and man is it vage. When I try the code on my dialer I get a mmi error. I have tried looking for the stock dialing app. I cannot find it, maybe its so embedded in the ROM it can't be pulled? Idk. I just want to try to get my knock sensor working using slimkat aosp ROM. I've looked thru their forum and there's not much activity there for the lg g2.
Further research tells me the stock dialer is just an apk. Is there anyone who can give me a link to the stock dialer? Could i anyone grab a copy from their stock ROM and p.m. me a copy? Not sure if I will need the .odex file but I'm looking.

Can I get the Google dialer on a non-rooted S4?

Hi there everyone!
I've downloaded a lot of .apk files claiming to install the Google dialer on a non-rooted S4 but so far all have failed to install. Is it possible to get this dialer on a non-rooted S4 and if so, which one should I be downloading?
Thanks for your time!
The dialer only works on Pixel, Nexus, Android One, and Google Play Edition devices running Android 6 or higher. You're running Android 5.0.1, thus the dialer will always refuse to install.
Root, then install an AOSP ROM and GApps package to use the dialer.

Thank you very much for your help!
I was told on another forum that I could not root or replace the ROM on this phone, as Verizon prevented it with the last OTA update. Is this not true?
@schwim: The fact you have a Verizon device and have taken an OTA means you can't change ROMs to a newer version. Such information would have been more helpful if placed in your initial post, but no matter. The upshot here is that there is nothing you can do that will allow you to install the Google dialer.

Caller ID on custom rom

Hi,
could you tell me a 8.1 custom rom where you're able to suppress your caller ID ? I flashed myself to nearly every custom rom but it doesn't work on any of them. Doesn't matter if it's Los or AOSP based and it doesn't matter which phone app I'm using.
If I try to select the option I got a network and Sim card error
message. On April stock it is working as it should be.
Thanks

Is it possible to record phone calls automatically? On Global Poco M3, in EU

Does the Poco M3 come with google dialer or miui dialer?
if it comes with google dialer, is it possible to install miui dialer?
i need to know because the call recording feature is important for me
thanks in advance
I have the global version of POCO M3, it uses the google dialer, and there is no option to record calls, MIUI dialer can be installed and opened, but in the MIUI dialer I did not find any option to record calls.

I just installed the xiaomi.eu ROM on my global Poco M3 from this thread. And there's an option for automatic call recording from all or selected numbers. Haven't tried it yet, but will soon.
Edit: Just tested it, it works fine.

If you mean EEA Global rom, does not have an auto call recording, you can try and search eu custom rom base on china rom: https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/rom-miui-citrus-xiaomi-eu-rom-for-poco-m3.4196463/
you can try indonesiaGlobal_stable rom with auto call recording which I'm using it for about a month. As it is working well up to this time.
The Taiwan official ROM (QJFTWXM) has call recording, you can unlock the bootloader, and flash the fastboot ROM with Mi Flash Tool, with the clean all and lock option.
