so I'm about to leave Mate 8 community to go for Mix 2s... It was a pleasure to be here. I wasnt sure if I want to stay on Huawei Mate 8, but few days ago my phone crashes And that made me to move foward.
To be honest I dont like this things, that Huawei is going to make. This is not that way that I wanted them to go. So, after two years, I'm done.
It was nice to be with you guys and thank you for all your help and understanding. And also thank you my Mate 8

Has anyone installed a custom ROM on the Mediapad M3? If so, which one? I see there is one thread with steps to getting it unlocked and rooted and nothing about ROMs.
I really like this device(with Action Launcher 3), the build and performance are great, but need hope that root and ROMs can happen if/when Huawei bails on updates in the future. I am 3 days into my 30 day return period and would love to answer this question or return the device for what might be announced at MWC.
I must say that this Mediapad M3 forum is quieter than a church mouse pissing on cotton and a HUGE thanks to those who have responded to my recent posts!

The past week I've been reading and watching tons of comparisons and reviews of the new devices in the market and i refined my options to these 2 amazing Oneplus 3t and huawei mate 9 pro. They are very close to each other almost on every comparison tests and each one of them has pros and cons making it really difficult to choose between them.
I speak for myself I'm more into mate 9 pro but im little worried about the future support as this device released several monthes ago and yet no root available for it and quite few updates released. also there is no subforum for it till now in spite of mate 9 and 1+3T have theirs.
I'm really confused now
what do you suggest guys? which one would you go for if you were me?

There is a thread here for device suggestions, pot this question there. Always post in the thread that are relevant to your question instead of creating a new thread, it wastes server space.

I've been on this forum since two years, and I tested more than 20 custom Roms for the HTC ONE M8
Unfortunatly, the tactile screen of my phone is not working anymore, so i decided to join the OnePlus 3T family
I never thanked all the developpers who make an amazing job on this roms.
So if you're a custom ROM developper, thank you for uptdating this phone, giving the best user experience you can !
Keep doing this amazing job, I imagine that there's a few people in my situation who never post on this forums so once again :

Mostly replying, since I also made the jump to the OnePlus 3T (from the M8) a few months ago. So maybe I'll see you over in those forums!
I just want to tell you goodbye because, after 2 years of activity here on Honor 8 forums, I've bought a new Xiaomi Redmi Note 7. I want just to thank all you have helped me with that good device and tell you goodbye anther time.
