Hello guys i want to use Crdroid official 4.2 Treble build on my Redmi 3S with Magisk - 16.4 [treble flashable zip. But when flash Magisk 16.4, I was found Error 1 in my Twrp Recovery.
Using Rom : Crdroid official 4.2
Recovery : TWRP 3.2.1.0 (Treble mod), allso I'll trid on Redwolf (treble).
How to fix that issue?? Because I want to root my phone.
Please help me guys. I want to flash treble rom with Magisk

oh ,this magisk is not support treble,because,it doesn't mount vendor.so you have to use modify mod magisk。you can serch in xda for more help

reflash u boot.img from u rom
then instal again magisk treble
if error. try to download again
maybe ur package zip is eror

Magisk 16 treble beta is working fine and flashable ..
Install latest TWRP r2.

I am too facing issue with magisk. The phone does not boot after I flash it through twrp (treble supported recovery) and when i many tries to boot it gets soft bricked.
It has been reported many times...

In pricipal, you can install any treble rom through fastboot if you are already on Oreo without any kind of modifications to avoid complications. Reset your device and install through fastboot and reset again before booting.

Due to the unofficial implementation of Treble ROMs, a new partition called 'Vendor' Partition is introduced. This gives the noobs like me a huge headache as most of the programs and modules including magisk give errors while trying to flash them. This has led to all the threads being flooded with the same questions again and again without much help.
I thought of compiling all the problems and providing all the solutions to the problems.
All the Treble ROMs and GApps packages can be installed by any latest recovery coz 'mido' phones have unofficial Treble builds which is done by tweaking some partitions. The recovery software or the phone firmware is not aware of it and can't distinguish between the two.
The problems arise when one tries to flash the modules or rooting softwares. The most common error is 'Error:1' 'Can't mount the vendor partition'.
Getting Started
You need to have a treble enabled Custom Recovery.
TWRP Exclusive 3.2.1-7 by @NFound
This recovery would show the 'cust' partition as 'vendor'. Thus solving all the errors regarding the Vendor partition.
Most of the oreo 8.1.0 ROMs are Treble enabled as of now. But this recovery will support non Treble ROMs as well without any problem. Below are the list of ROMs available for Mido.

The official Magisk thread is flooded with the same question of Error:1 can't mount vendor.
The official version(16.0) doesn't throw an error when flashed with treble enabled recovery but the phone goes into a bootloop. A customized version of magisk for Treble ROMs is required to solve this issue.

Tip : Install Magisk Manager before flashing Magisk in recovery. Can solve 'app not installed' errors while updating Magisk Manager.
Unistalling magisk cannot be achieved by the Magisk Uninstaller. Extract the 'boot.img' from your ROMs flashable zip and flash it using TWRP recovery.
Boot into recovery -> Install -> Install Image -> boot.img -> click on boot -> Reboot.
Reflashing Magisk will return all the Modules without any problems.
Tip : This trick can be used if any module or magisk runs into error or keeps stopping. It can also be used for updating Magisk to the latest version.

use pie vendor (lineage 16)
all Q vendor from custom rom didnt boot
install lineage and noverity (i'm on decrypted)
reboot into twrp and factory reset
install MakeMeSAR file (before install gsi system image) always

i've made a big mistake, i have flashed TWRP and LineageOS/Stock-Roms from Oneplus 5T on my Oneplus 5. There was only a few things that don't work. Now when i boot into Recovery i can't install LineageOS for the OnePlus 5 because of Error 7. Is there a special TWRP for Oneplus 5T and Oneplus 5 or is it the same for both devices? At the moment there is no OS installed. I have flashed this Recovery https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...overy-twrp-3-2-1-0-oreo-oxygenos-5-0-t3725723 and tried to flash LineageOS for OnePlus 5 but it failed with

Yes, there are 2 ways.
1. Flash OOS from bootloader, or via adb sideload. Else use MSM Tool to flash OOS. Then lock bootloader, and unlock again to flash the TWRP. After that all back to normal.
2. Lock the bootloader and unlock, then flash CodeworkX Force Encrypt TWRP from the same link. Format data and try.
#1 will make it all clean with no need of vendor again.
#2 will have the need to flash vendor image again.
