Side-by-side Galaxy S7 170 Mbps, Pixel 3 220 Mbps. Also, reception strength measured by Wifi Analyzer is about 10 dB higher on the Pixel.

pixel 3 wifi weaker than Galaxy S8

Kinda blows. Frequently drops signal on 5g, same as my S8+ and wife's S8 does. Never happens with S7Edge on. same networks.
Sent from my SM-N950U using XDA-Developers Legacy app
Will get mine tomorrow will compare to my v20 and gps accuracy as well. My Samsung phones have always been the least accurate gps of all the phones I have owned
For me the wifi is far superior to S7 edge..
My Note 4 is able to get full internet bandwidth through WiFi which is about 74mbps down and 20mbps up.
My Note 8 gets averages 40mbps down and 20mbps up when it's causeless. Down speed drops to around 30mbps with the alcantara case on.
Both devices were tested one after the other in the same room on the 1st floor and the router on the ground floor.
This is my Note8 when I was upstairs in my room... the router is downstairs in the living room. The WiFi is outstanding.
Using the speedtest app on my phone, I get 94%+ bandwidth of the 100 MB port to the AP up and down with a Ubiquiti AP-AC-LR, 30 ft from it through a hallway in my office.

Have to echo the others. I came from a Note 4 to the 8 and the 8 is quicker. Both max out my home Wi-Fi at 60 to 65, but the 8 powers the test with no choppiness while the 4 kind of lurches to 60. I chalked it up to the 4 not having the processing power to handle it all in general.

WiFi strength, range, and throughput

Razer Phone about 20ft from wireless AC access point, between two walls. Downloaded data for TItanfall 600MB .obb pretty fast, less than a minute it seemed.
Speed test on the phone via my ISP site is 166.9 down, 15.9 up. Basically maxed out what the ISP is sending 150Mbps down, 15Mbps up.
Running Speed Test - See photo attached
At home on my 5Ghz network I've not dropped below 700mbs link between the phone and my router, however that maybe due to my home setup and having some expensive Netgear hardware around the house but mostly have just used 4G over my home WiFi.
Range is horrible on my Razer Phone. I only get about 70% of the range of my previous Lenovo Phab 2 Pro and ZTE Axon M on 5Ghz band and about 80% of 2.4Ghz bands. The wife's Samsung Galaxy Note 8 gets about the same range as my previous phones did. I get the same results at my home and workplace. I haven't ran speed tests yet as I'm most upset about the seriously lacking range.
Probably has to do with 5Ghz, but when I am on the second floor (8 meters from router) speed goes down fast.
But apart from that it's super fast.

Cellular strength and throughput

We know how much you like to stream, ahem, "videos", and so cellular data is mega-important. Rate this thread to express how you think the Opp Find X's LTE performs. A higher rating indicates that it's fantastic: throughput is excellent and signal strength is top-notch.

im on metropcs.. roughly get 4mb/s download thus far.. it gets LTE for the most part.. not as strong as my axon 7 did but suffienct.. the H+ comes on every now and again and that gives me way more than 3g . does.. but overall.. no signal issue..
Was at a party saturday night and my friends. s8+ with sprint had no signal while my phone still did.. so eh.. locational.

Wi-Fi Issue
After updating to MIUI 11.0.3 QGGEUXM I started to experience WI-FI problems, such as slow speed, so slow that pages report that there is no internet connection and random WI-FI cuts. This issue is well known on Xiaomi forum, but developers and Xiaomi support are ignoring it.
Things they recommend us to do are :
Restart your device.
Restart Bluetooth, Mobile Internet and Wi-Fi settings.
Restart your modem/Router at home.
Turn off Bluetooth (Yes, they recommend you to not to use Bluetooth and Wi Fi at same time)
And then they just ghost you.
If you use Bluetooth at same time when you are using Wi-Fi your Wi-Fi speed will be twice slower as Bluetooth is interfering with Wi-Fi.
I can confirm the Wi-Fi issue in 11.0.4.0 QGGMIXM ROM. With the previous V11.0.6.0. PGGMIXM it was better.
Both the coverage and both transfer speed dropped significantly.
Same problem here. After few hours of using wifi my up and down speed dropping significantly. I need to turn off/on wifi on my phone to use my proper internet speed again.
My Redmi Note 8 Pro WiFi keeps on disconnecting. Running on Stock MIUI 12.0.5 Global, Non rooted. Any fix/solution please?
I also experience Wi-FI issues dropping, slow speed or not loading at all

WIFI signal
When upper left corner is covered by hand (using landscape or gaming) the wifi strength is dropping significantly. Do you have the same issue? Is curious for a phone with plastic back panel.
Yes, the same. When gaming in landscape, the bottom have to point to the left, otherwise the lag kicks in. Sometimes the connection is lost In the game even if I'm a couple meters away from the router.
I think it's more curious that a Samsung phone have this issue after the "you're holding the phone the wrong way" from iPhone.
In a room where the reception is ok on a PC and older phones (LGV10 before it died, Moto X), they are frequent drops on that phone.
I had to install another access point.
So it is worse that many other devices.
