Elephone s8 camera 2 api - Elephone S8 Guides, News, & Discussion

I wonder if anyone could enable camera 2 api on elephone s8. I tried everything without success. If there was a way to control shutter speed, the phone's camera could give some of the best pictures since they are the most detailed I've seen on 20 Mp cameras. Any ideas?

S10+ camera focus issue

I recently got the new Samsung S10+ 1TB phone and every time I take a picture, the photo comes out blurry or out of focus, even when the object isn't moving. I have even restarted my phone as a Samsung technician recommended. I have also installed the Google Pixel camera app from another post and that has less issues. Any one found a fix or have the same issues with the native camera program in the Samsung S10+?
Which application installed ? all work for me is not stable(((
I have Exynos 9820
Stock. I didnt chang anything. I ended up download gcam and open cam. They have no issues.
Native camera doesn't appear to focus all the time on my S10+, but that's just one issue. My scanner rarely works. I'm gonna ask if BB can exchange mine...
For the finger scanner i rotated my finger around at strange angles and it works great for me.
Same
I am having this issue with the front facing camera.
9 out of 10 times I try to take a selfie or use face unlock, the front camera won't focus.
The only quick solution I have found is to tap on the lens glass once or twice. After that the camera will work correctly, but only for a short while, after which I have to repeat tapping in the front camera glass.
I'm guessing the camera module is defective.
I can't get my S10+ that I bought straight from AT&T to focus on close up things at random times when I need to take a pic of like a nail or something. Not sure the S10 has it, but there used to be a macro mode on the S3 and S4 that made this a lot easier.

Record video with back and front camera at the same time

Hi. I came from Samsung Galaxy S7. It had a neat feature recording (or taking pic) from front and back camera at the same time. Is it possible with oneplus 6t?
Tried with linuxct Nokia camera, but getting FC when entering such mode

Poor focus in live focus mode - Can someone please see if you can replicate?

S10+ UK variant with the latest updates installed. I have an issue with the camera. If I open the camera and choose Live Focus, the default lens is the one with the single leaf on it, which is the lens that makes everything the biggest/closest etc. If I hold my hand or anything else out in front of me, the camera will not focus on my hand/object at all. If I wave it about, it will sometimes come into focus momentarily, but will not focus as you would expect, the image is also quite poor. If I then change lenses to the other available one, which is the one with two leaves on, that focuses perfectly and very quickly and is nice and sharp in the areas that I choose.
Samsung said to factory reset and I did and it did not fix it. They also said that Tracking AF setting should be enabled, but it is greyed out and there is no way to change it. I found a video on youtube on how to enable it, by reducing the resolution of video recording for the rear camera, but as I'd just factory reset, it was already on a low setting.
Also, all 3 lenses will focus as they should in auto and pro modes, just not live focus.
Could anyone please try this for me?
Open camera->Select Live Focus->Select the lens with the single leaf icon->Hold hand or other object about 12 inches/30cm away. Does it focus properly?
Also, with the camera still open->settings->Tracking AF <--is this greyed out?
Thanks, any help, much appreciated.
Same with me. Never noticed before as usually nor use live focus mode.

For me the 2x zoom camera(single leaf) has problems of focusing when I shoot a video. Try that also and see if you guys have the same problem

Thanks. Yes, mine is the same. I had mine set to 1920 @60fps and there's no option to change lenses, but after setting it to just FHD 1920x1080, the 3 lenses are available. The focus here, although not working as expected is better than it is using live focus.

I am using 4k 30fps, and for me sometimes the focus for the telephoto(x2) struggles to get perfect. Maybe is a software thing that will be corrected. Also checked it and the tracking AF is also greyed out for me.

Primary camera not working?

Anyone else facing the problem that switching through every mode, even 48 MP mode or trying different cameras, the primary camera doesn't show up and the telephoto camera is used as the primary and telephoto camera and even clicks 48 MP pictures. I covered the main camera to check these issues. Any solution?
Anyone has a way to solve this issue? I'm on stock MIUI 11 and locked bootloader
i have same problem. do you solved now ?
