please help me.
I'm from Israel, a friend bought for me Galaxy s4 GT-I9500 from Samsung Direct in california. according to them the device is international and unlocked.
Yesterday my friend gave me the device, but the israeli sim isn't working on it. it asks for sim network unlock pin.
I tried all of the guieds of the service mode and a few apps, and even paid 25$ for the code to an unlocking site but they gave me a wrong code.
Can someone help me?
I have purchased the unlock code for Samsung Galaxy s4 with i9500 and originally purchased this from Saudi Zain telecom and it didn't work...here
and it ask for unlock code...and I did purchase this from unlocker unit and still it won't work and please someone help
I don't have service mode option working and it is stock and formatted the phone and using the new sim card and tried everything and it doesn't work...please advice
There is no unlock code for the L720! You got scammed. If you want to unlock the phone for use on other carriers look for the threads on here that explain how to do it.
Hi, I bought an International version of Note 3 SM-N900 from US. Its mentioned as it will work for US Based SIM. Without knowing that I bought to india and tried with Indian Sim, it asked to enter Network SIM Unlock PIN. I tried following methods, but went in vain :
1. Called Indian Samsung Customer Service. They told they cant help it.
2. Took to Authorised Samsung Service Centre, they told they cant help it.
3. Tried with some online Unlock codes, nothing worked.
I have 2 solutions in front of me : Please let me know, which will work.
1. If I put an US SIM, which is in international roaming and make a call and talk for 5 mins, will the region lock gets removed. ?
2. If I take back to US, put an US Sim and talk for 5 mins and bring back to India and use with Indian SIM, will it work ?
IS there any other method you guys can suggest me ? Please help me.

samsung india won't region unlock note 3
most online code provider will come into play if your note3 is simlocked+region locked
your only solution is to unlock it with spt box which uses super imei

What online unlock codes you have used? May be you didn't use a suitable codes.
Can you show the screenshot of the phone, when it asks for the unlock code?
How does it look like?

Hi, I have this same exact issue. Did you find a fix? My phone worked for 2 days until it suddenly didn't.
Is it possible your phone is blacklisted by the carrier?

Hi - What i did was got a US sim from my friend who came for a short visit and made a call to a number and kept it for 3 minutes . So it just unlocked the phone. If you have any friends try if that works for you.
guys my brother sent me a samsung galaxy s5 from UK , he did insert his vodaphone sim into it but unfortunately didn't make any calls more than 5 mins to break the region lock. he bought it from the samsung shop .. fully paid £520 and its not suppose to be carrier locked because of that . now when i put a local sim here in asia .. its asking for a 'sim network unlock pin' can someone please tell me ... is my phone carrier locked or region locked ..?? your help is much appreciated or how to identify which lock prompts this 'sim network unlock ' message ??

Hi we have s8's on our family. i purchased new s8 from ebay germany. shipped to Turkey. Seller didnt write anywhere that phone is network locked, also i asked to seller he said yes for "unlocked".
It asks network unlock pin. How can i unlock? Should i buy any unlock code? Is "sim-unlock.net" website safe? I will buy from there. Please help me. Is there any way except buying unlock code.
Also i don't know locked to which carrier. How can i find this? This website has an option "all carriers from germany" is it trusted?
csc is DBT (germany).
I can give imei or serial number with pm to check.
