Left overnight, the phone will lose about 2% battery life on standby.

Yes its drain at njght..

5%

It drains 2% overnight. Data connection off.

For those that think 2% battery loss during night time is too much, it's normal! 2%is actually impressive, considering most devices lose 5 times that sometimes in this price range of 14k

And also the latest pie update automatically turns of data and WiFi once you are asleep

Got a 1% drain last night I think it also changes on how much % you are at because it's not a liniar battery drain. some % it lasts a long time and sometimes it drops 2% in no time.
I turned off wifi, 4g and turned on saving mode.

Standby drain over a full day with commuting and running around a bit at work has the power consumption with the screen off at around 1.1%. I have a lot of email accounts and android wear synced though, so that might also increase power consumption.
Over night I generally lose way less, around 3% in 8 hrs.
I can't believe myself...
Went to bed at 2 in the night at 83% battery...
Woke up at 7.45 AM at 82% battery...
Just 01% drop...
Ofcourse both WiFi and mobile data were turned off...
Lost 6 percent in 7 hours idle with data and wifi off on 1st night.

I at night lose about 3% battery at 8-9h

I've heard really bad things about standby drain with this phone -- gsmarena's review indicates it's really horrible.
Can anyone with the phone elaborate on how it is?

I charge my phone during the night and remove it from the charger when I wake up during the night (usually at 3am). After that it's just laying around until about 10am(weekend) and if I pick it up it usually has 99 or 100%(wifi and Bluetooth enabled all the time). Of course there is more drain if you are on mobile data but you will have enough juice for one day for sure. I'm currently on 5,5h SOT with 22% left. Phone has not seen a charger for 13h and 34min, I had wifi for 10h and no time without signal
Well, after I disabled gallery sync, standby is really good. ~1%/hr which is for me perfectly fine

You are right, forgot to tell that, that mi sync stuff drained the battery a lot
(Test done with sync disabled)
During my sleep time (11PM-8AM - airplane mode active) it lose around 1% every two hours.
Else it lose around 1% every hour.
I'm currently at 86% of battery after doing 45~60 minutes of internet (estimated at 3% of battery use) and 15 hours and a half since last charge

I lost 8% battery overnight between 1:00am nd 9:00 pm
considering this a 12 nm chipset the drain should be less...however i dont blame it as this is not stock android
My battery drains too much at night when my phone is not in use......I leave my phone 50-70 percent battery at night but in the morning only 5-6 percent battery remains
It will a fault in your phone when last night I keep my phone at 14% in the morning I saw 12% remaining it drains but that much I see regular 4-5 % drop whole night
Bad Battery Life
Recently after updating to color os 5.2 i am seeing a great drop in power. I keep my phone wake at night and everytime i use I always try to maintain keep 30-40% charge at night. Say i used all day, closed all apps and let it rest at 12pm but when i woke up at 9am or 10am charge drops 20~28% and previously in default OS which came out of the box. My battery charge used stay between 2-3 days after a single 3 hours full 100% battery charge. (Without heavy usage and browsing) but after the update it doesn't even stay for a day. And it drains quite fast with normal usage. After a 8 hours my battery percentage shows about 55% charge remaining. I'm having a doubt is it because of the battery or the heavy buggy ?? ColorOS 5.2 update.
***New***
ColorOS 6 battery is more pathetic than Oreo Based 5.2 COS

I got my phone yesterday too! It's fantastic! I am surprised at all the hype the Honor Play is getting, when the REAL gaming phone is this Honor Note 10!
Standby for me ROCKS as well. When not in use, it NEVER moves in terms of battery percentage.
AND IT CHARGES SO FAST! Crazy good man! :good:

I lose about .75% per hour, roughly. 6% over an 8 hour sleep sesh.

I do, however, leave all the stuff like Bluetooth, nfc, WiFi, location and data on all the time.

I lose about 0-1% with wifi on all night and apps in the ram.
I should find out what's running that's such a power hog. Probably this bull**** launcher I've downloaded that's trying to serve me ads all the time.
