Bricked k88 by flashing noverity boot img on 6.0 - ZTE Trek 2 Questions & Answers

So I was adding Lineage to a few tablets and I ended up flashing the noverity boot img to one before flashing the 7.1 update. Now on boot the screen flashes and then goes off with no other sign of life. I can get to the stock recovery but every thing I try to ADB side load fails with either signature verification fail or "this package is not a ks package" error. I can't get to edl from here to use jasmine tools. Is there anything else I can do?

So I had my chance and blew it lol. I was finally able to my device in EDL mode by using this method http://en.miui.com/thread-310325-1-1.html . Once in EDl mode I had to decide between flashing the boot image or twrp. I went with twrp figuring I would be able to flash whatever if I could get that up and running. I was able flash it with jasminetool successfully but I can't boot into it all. The devices just flashes the ATT logo then goes blank. I probably should have went with the boot img but live and learn.
So far I am not able to get back into EDL mode but I'm not sure if its because the method I used is kind of flaky and takes a few attempts to work or that my devices is not powering off which is required for for this to work, my screen is dark but i'm not sure if its actually powered off. I went ahead and ordered an EDL cable so hopefully that will work better than this hack.

Bro,You must upgrade to b17 Android nougat and then use the jasminetool

[Help] Stuck in Mi logo after flashing TWRP. Forgot to disable Dm-verify

Hi,
I was trying to follow this thread for Flashing TWRP on my unlocked Redmi 3s prime. http://en.miui.com/thread-298586-1-1.html
I completed all the steps except last one to disable dm-verify and now my phone is stuck on Mi Logo
I am not able to reboot back to recovery (volume+ and power) nor in fastboot (volume down and power). Both result in the same MI logo screen
PLease help what should I do?
Is there any other way to boot to fastboot or recovery?
Hold the volume- and the power key... at last it's not going to fastboot .. and then flash twrp again and disable dm verify
Did you clear your cache and everything?
Never mind you just go back to fastboot and flash again TWRP
Me too facing it in the beginning, so I rehashed twrp in flashboot mode by pressing volumn down and power button. After phone booted into twrp, go to advanced menu to disable dm-verify. Rebooted your phone. Done.

The simplest is to use three keys combination : Volume +, volume - and power. You will get in TWRP, no need to flash anything.
I already changed to cofface twrp: http://en.miui.com/thread-244098-1-1.html

Help Needed: Phone stuck on Motorola's warning screen.

Ok so recently I was backing up and wiping my phone as a procedure I do every couple of months to make sure everything's up-to-date.
But when I tried to boot into it this time, it got stuck on Motorola's unlocked bootloader screen and won't boot into recovery mode or turn off.
Everytime I try to turn it off, it reboots to said screen and gets stuck. My previous root was phh's Superuser, and I was upgrading it to Magisk's root.
I was also upgrading twrp 3.0.0 athene to twrp 3.1.1.
Currently I have the stock firmware downloaded from AndroidSages and the OTA Update pulled from my phone, as well as all the files stated above.
All I'm trying to do is boot into recovery mode, as I can make my way from there. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hold power and volume down for 2-5mins it will boot into bootloader from there you can boot into recovery or flash the stock rom
ADB will not work unless you are booted into bootloader or the os

That's the issue, it's not booting into recovery mode. If I could boot into TWRP I could push the stock firmware to the phone and I think I'd be all well and good.
What seems to be happening is that because the warning message comes before the phone can boot into recovery mode I can't boot into recovery mode.
That advice would be more helpful for someone with a different issue.

So you saying you can boot into bootloader
If yes then try reflashing the twrp
Or just boot recovery using fast boot
fastboot boot recovery twrp.img
Try the older version

Maybe I wasn't being clear the first time but here's a vidual interpretation. The issue I'm having is that I can't boot into the bootloader, if I could I'd do what you said.
A Proper Load: Device Powers On > Motorola Boot Warning > Bootloader/Recovery/Normal Boot
My Issue: Device Powers On > Motorola Boot Warning [Freeze]
Somehow it fixed itself. All I did was reinstall Android Studio and the Android SDK and it work.
ADB wasn't showing any devices before the install, but now it is.
In case this happens in the future, can someone figure out what the hell happened?
Now that issue is solved, my wifi seems to not be working. From the moment I booted into the stock rom I haven't been able to connect/view any wifi networks.

Once you are in the no command screen, hold down power button and then press volume up button once. Immediately after that, let go both buttons and you will enter stock recovery.
When you are in recovery mode, "no command" is the default screen for it. Just shortly press and release power + volume up again and menu shows. Don't hold it for too long or your phone will fully reboot to recovery again.
Thank you so much dear brothers
i tried to flash twrp with adb it shows flashing sucessful but dosent boot into recovery and shows 'no command' when i manually enter recovery its stuck on stock recovery what should i do, my bootloader is unlocked. Help plz thanks in advance.

That's means that TWRp recovery has not been overwriting on stock recovery. In my opinion You should attempt once again to flash recovery via fastboot mode.
i am trying to boot and flash treble recovery {cosmic dan}
i am able to boot into twrp but when i press reboot int recovery from twrp ...... it goes to no command screen ..
i have tried flashing stock rom {android 9}......... screen goes to android one boot screen----until battery goes 0%

I do not restart in TWRP recovery after installing it

After unlock the bootloader and formatted the phone, when installing by fastboot the twrp recovery and coming out affirmative installation, I don't start in recovery, restart of normal form unable to access the recovery, It says "command not found", can anyone help me?

Right after having flashed the TWRP trough fastboot you have to do the following:
- Keep pressed power+vol- buttons until the phone turns off
- Immediately after the phone turns off keep pressed power+vol- until the LG Logo appears
- When the LG Logo appears leave the power button (keep pressed the vol- one) and immediately press again also the power button and keep pressed both until the hard reset mode appear
- Confirm with the two "yes" and if the TWRP is installed correctly (the phone MUST NOT boot into system, if it happens you have to flash TWRP again) it'll boot, otherwise it'll perform an hard reset
Good luck :good:

Thank you very much, I did not realize the second restart that the phone does after unlocking the bootloader, thanks. By the way to open it again I have to repeat it, (instal twrp and then open it) or I have it fixed?

Redmi Note 7 stuck in boot loop

Hello, I've been trying to figure out how to fix this problem. My Redmi Note 7 is stuck in the loading screen. When I power my phone up it says, "Redmi by Xiaomi" then goes black and then go back to, "Redmi by Xiaomi" and then black again. It continues doing this nonstop. The phone won't even show up on any computer when I plug the cord into the phone & computer.
Twrp claims I have no OS installed. Starting to think my only answer is buying a new phone.
Use mi flash tool or twrp and then Xiaomi eu rom

Do you can boot to recovery (power & vol+ button)?
If you have working recovery, update to latest version of OrangeFox recovery, FORMAT (not = wipe!) data partition, flash ROM, reboot to system.
