problem.. theme manager - Huawei Nova 2i (Mate 10 Lite / Honor 9i) Questions

Hello guys.
I had bootloader unlocked and installed lineage os 15.1 then i went back to the stock firmware and unlocked the bootloader.
The system is working fine but problem is the theme manager.
Whenever i install a new theme an apply it nothing happen, even if I tried ti change the icon pack nothing happen. The same theme, same wallpaper, same icons, same everything.
Any idea? Please help I hate the stock icons.

Can you apply any of the stock themes? I recommend either factory reset or eRecovery, download firmware and install

I remember having the same issue after I bricked my device and used funkyhuawei for debricking. They told me to install the firmware again and this helped. Try downloading latest firmware in eRecovery.

Thank you dude.

This should work. I had the same after using funkyhuawei. Flash the latest official stock firmware you had before unlocking bootloader or flashing customs ROM.

But remember, there is always a risk of bricking the phone.

There is a good chance that autoroot for 5.1.1 will works for 6.0.1
It happens with autoroot for 910H.
Or, you can just flash twrp using odin, flash bootloader using odin, and this rom using twrp.

Yesterday I had this issue, it's more easy than it seems. In Revolution Recovery for Nougat, flash the update.app ZIP with 6.0 , it will show you a lot of errors, but don't worry, it's ok. After this flash than DUALSIMOEM.zip and after that shutdown your phone and use the 3 buttons method to automatically ,,update" to B161.

Would the stock OTA update cause any issues for UK 3 Branded phones?
The official update for us is going to be a while I think.
TIA ?
Would warranty still be intact as well?
Thank you and me

You should try it.I don't think it will affect your warranty because it is an official ota zip. This zip only checks if your phone is marshmallow or not, if it is mm, then it should flash properly.

When you apply to unlock the bootloader the phone contacts Lenovo over the internet , so the countdown timer runs from their end . so your safe to reset , upgrade etc

Is there a instruction how to install revolution recovery and where to find the file...?

I don't think you can flash latest firmware directly if you're still running lolipop.
But if you want custom roms, then just get twrp recovery and flash a rom.
There's no need to upgrade stock firmware to do that.

your phone in 5.0 partion layout so,6.0 customes roms does not support,
so u do one thing
first u must download all files
from WW_1.17.40.1234_20160304
this version to latest version from asus site ,
place one by one files in phone sd card folowed by series and install them manually,to latest firmware 09/11/2017.
if your phone got ota updates ,install all updates one by one,
or whatsapp me 7013_4455,95,,,,,,
