Are you guys rooted? Fortnite might have an antiroot feature to prevent cheaters from going into the game just like how Pokemon GO won't start on a rooted phone.

There is a modded APK that allows you to install the game but once you land it will kick you saying something along the lines of "Blah blah blah, you are either on a VPN/proxy or on a unsupported device". I think right now the game is only supporting samsung devices even though the game supports many other devices. We will just have to wait unfortunately.

There is an article that says the v20 is compatible on pc world. If you look at the last paragraph it mentions you can't be rooted though.*
https://www.google.com/amp/s/www.pc...e/can-my-android-phone-play-fortnite.amp.html
*This could be dropped if they find an "effective anti-cheat solutions."

? you guys forgot that its a samsung exclusive for 3 months?

The new update has upgraded it to somewhat playable. Things still take to long to render in game and the controls are laggy. I assume this has to do with the performance issues I'm still experiencing.

Just wondering why you don't play the PC version?
Also just side-loaded on the Nvidia Shield console and play with a keyboard and mouse.

For one thing, not everyone has the money to buy Asus Zephyrs and Razer Blades to run Fortnite with actually good graphics and framerates.
And is it even compatible on the NVIDIA Shield?
Sidenote. I still maintain that the Nintendo Switch is still THE best way to play Fortnite on-the-go...

The Nvidia Shield console cost around $130, has the Tegra X1 which is also in the Nintendo switch. incidentally the Nintendo switch was actually supposed to run Android from CyanogenMod Inc.

Ideally, both.

Snapdragon 821 on FHD barely kept up with 20fps on full HD resolution. V20 is qHD and having a 10% slower performance than that. I doubt it will run on playable margins.

N64oid App: Is it worth the $6 and does it work on Xoom

Hello Everyone,
I purchased the N64oid Emulator and thought I would let any forum members that it works well on my Xoom. I even am able to play Super Mario 64 on my Droid 1 without problems. This emulator does cost money and so many of you might hesitate to purchase but I just wanted to let you know it works well on the Xoom and so far Super Mario 64, Starfox and Zelda are running great and I think it was well worth the money.
I made a video if you want to see it in action. Why pay if its not for you so check out my video and feel free to ask me if certain roms work or if you want me to make a particular video to see how certain roms play on the Xoom http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KtdQXIcH6gY
Mario 64 runs great on the Xoom but Ocarina ran pretty slow, though I only tried it on the first version, they've updated the application a lot since then... well worth the money.
OoT always seems to freeze for me on pressing start, any ideas why?
Im on the latest version of N64oid, using my Xoom.
Sent from my Xoom using XDA Premium App
Edit: Majora's Mask seems to work just fine though. Pause and all. At least I got one portable Zelda.
Nice video. Thanks.
Question:
How does the wii remote connect to the xoom?
Mario Kart works really well also.

I use a free app called WiimoteController. Works well on the Xoom. There is a couple hitches getting it to work and I am putting together a video on showing exactly how to set it up and get it working with an emulator. Will be posting it in a bit.

I like using the Wii Classic Controller Pro with my emulators on my Xoom. It's got the combination and feel of all the classic gaming consoles built into one controller. Since it was originally meant for the Nintendo Virtual Console on the Wii, it is great to use with the N64 games as it was a part of the VC lineup. I personally have been using this method on my Androids for well over a year now, but it's great to remind others who had no idea this existed in this first place. Good job man.
I just sold my wii and all controllers argh! would love to use it with some n64 games
Dont forget GoldenEye
It still gets the " hey can you get that for iPhone?" Followed shortly by a disappointed "awww"

Good and Bad news. The app to connect the WiiMotes to your android device supports multiple Wii Motes / Wii Classic . However the N64oid does not support multiplayer yet, well it might never, but I'm been pretty happy with what the all the apps the creator of N64oid, he even frequents this forum, so perhaps he will give us an answer if it will make its way to his N64oid app.

Any major video game vendor should sell this. Here is a link to give you an idea what it looks like.
http://www.bestbuy.com/site/Nintend...988885&skuId=9853244&st=wii classic&cp=1&lp=7
Please note however that you still need the original Wiimote to be able to hook it to your Android device through bluetooth.

or get FPSE (ps1) and rip the game to your phone

I know that a lot of the emulators disappeared a bit ago.. however asking people to do a search for "Where are Tigers" would likely give off articles on Southeast Asia or India. ^_^ (real tigers, instead of Tiger emulators)
I used FPSE then purchased rom fetcher: playstation, to download marvel vs capcom
i highly recommend rom fetcher for people who dont no how to get roms the traditional way or cant be bothered

Is Tiger Arcade being pulled from the market? Daaang....
EDIT* looks like all the Tiger apps are gone....
All Tiger Apps here:

They are free, there is no need to hide.
Be warned though, latest version of TigerArcade (which runs Marvel vs. Capcom perfectly) does not have save states, and the old version with save states does not work.

Absolutely doubtful. Sega, who allegedly had yongzh's emulators pulled, has not announced any plans to release anything for Android. I'd point at Gameloft who has certain interest in the XPlay but just don't want competition for the new games from the emulated ones.

If Gameloft wants to push out something original to compete with what we'd be emulating, they're more than welcome to.
Based on their other near-IP-theft jobs, I think they'd be the best candidate to try re-creating MvC... or some 2D fighter that brings mobile phone gaming out of the touch-screen-limited ghetto.

Welfare tv out. Your xperia is a console now

Its very simple and works great on my phone.
What you need,
A remote client like teamviewer
A laptop
A tv
Set up your remote c
Software so that you can view your phones screen via laptop, hook up laptop to your tv,
Pwn nubs on the bigscreen
Also works good for phones that are touchpad only becaue your hands arent in the way anymore
How do I set it up?
I see my desktop on my phone, how do I switch it around?
Look for droid vnc server on market, it shows the phones screen by default
Easiest way to set it up would be rtfm
What about refresh latency? I've seen Droid VNC but it didn't refresh fast enough...

The resolution looks great I just wish it wasn't soooo slowwwww....there's gotta be a good combo of apps/programs that runs fast
EDIT: just f*cked with it for a couple hours.....android side I tried droid vnc server and remote desktop add on...both worked well connecting to PC and vice versa....PC side I used tightvnc and vncviewer.....both worked well also...
BUT yeah, the display on MY pc of my phone's screen was tinted RED, and was really slow...like 1-3 second delay on everything....
there's gotta be a way to optimize this! I wanna play emulators on my TV from my phone goddamnit!
cool, gonna follow this thread. i guess you need a pretty f-ing good internet speed to get it to run good enough for fast games.

I just guessing here, but I would imagine that the HDMI out option is available just on the developers kit. During the demo of Desert Winds at E3. There was a port connection between the headphone jack and the usb port. I have to assume that port was placed on the dev. kit to allow for demo of the game during development on a bigger screen. The retail version of the phone probably does not have this port connection. If it did it would be a nice selling point.
HDMI out is in the service menu, but they removed the necessary hardware for the commercial release.
Hardware-wise it's not possible to enable anything because it's not there
eros78 is probably right, the service menu option is just a remnant from the dev kits.

maybe anyone knows more about this? I googled a bit but didn't find any reliable info. :/
If you want game stream you can download an app called moonlight, it brings nvidia's gamestream to other devices than nvidia.
Also works on the shield of course.
Sorry to revive a dead thread, but is this version still working for anyone? I can load into it, but can't login to my Nvidia account because it can't connect to the servers. On my fire TV I got it to connect, but now it kicks me out right after it loads any game...
