Cant flash anything other than twrp on galaxy s8 and phone wont start - Samsung Galaxy S8 Questions and Answers

so i accidentally destroyed my efs partition on my Samsung and last baseband and all that in the process of trying to fix that i seem to have broken the bootloader or something so the phone just flashes on the samsung logo, when i try to flash stock firmware or anything other than twrp the flash fails and the phone shows this error: "an error has occurred while updating the device software. Use emergency function in the smart switch pc software." the phone isn't reconised in the smart switch software though so i cant try to fix it through that. im really not sure what to do at this point, does anyone have any ideas?

Update: i managed to find the latest firmware to flash (CRGB) however my phone gets stuck on the flashing samsung logo and idk what to do now. also my efs partition is broken is there a way i can fix that? (i dont have a backup)

Tried to install TWRP now I cannot boot into recovery

As the title says, I tried to install TWRP onto my Galaxy S5 via the app. It said that everything was successful but when I try to boot into recovery, I get stuck on a loop that says recover failed with a big caution icon saying start up failed. I can get out of the loop by using Odin and trying to install the recovery through that but it fails but I can at least turn my phone on and use it. I would like to get TWRP on my phone still but every outlet I have tried does seem to work. I could use some help here. My phone is rooted with a custom stock rom.

I have flashed twrp 3.2.1 via odin 3.12.3, but why I didn't see twrp interface when I boot into recovery? It says something like this:
Android Recovery
MMB29M.G900FXXU1CRA2
samsung/kltexx/klte
6.0.1/MMB29M/G900FXXU1CRA2
user/release-keys
Use volume up/down and power
Reboot system now
Reboot to bootloader
Apply update from ADB
Apply update from SD card
....
...
Power off
Based on what i have seen on youtube, it's not the twrp interface? It's G900F, un-rooted, not sure other status.

gt-i9505 stuck at bootloader-dead recovery?

Hi guys! I have an gt-i9505 that suddenly shuted down with a crash image (the image was blured ... Like old tv when the signal wasn't very good) and when i tried to turn on the phone it get stuck at "samsung galaxy s4 ..." and i can't access the recovery ... It sais "recovery booting...." but it stops at this point and stais like that forever
If i shut it down and put it on charge the batery shows up with a lightening mark in it but no animation or percent
Fortunatly download mode is available and i flashed a new custom recovery (cwm) the odin said everything was fine but still the recovery isn't accessable . tried also flashing a stock rom but same problem no accessable recovery and the phone is still stuck at s4 logo ...
Any help?
A stock ROM from sammobile.com is flashed in download mode, not recovery mode so it doesn't matter if the phone has no recovery installed.

I know that but why it can't boot then? Ans what about recovery, Flaahing a stock rom gives you a stock recovery but the phone can't get into any recovery...
Can this be a hardware problem?
You flashed a stock ROM with pit?

No, i don't know how to do it, a link with some installation tips and downloads would be more than thankfull
...............................................................
I flashed cwm recovery again with odin and I got into recovery , wiped data and cache but when I restarted the phone it got stuck again at bootloader and now I can't access the recovery again.... I think that volume up and power buttons are broken somehow...
Flashed again the stock rom , same problem , nothing changed...
A few ideas would be great!
I'm pretty sure it's a hardware problem. The phone doesn't simply shut down for no reason, unless some hardware part was failing.
Sounds like the same problem I have (https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/help/s4-boot-i9505-t3529543)
I would also be interested in how to install stock ROM with pit.

*Help* Phone keeps on booting into TWRP and then doesn't respond.

I just flashed TWRP for the first time but it comes up with "Unmodified System Partition" but touchscreen doesn't work for some reason so I cant select anything. I tried removing the battery and rebooting my phone (Galaxy S4 19505) But it just boots back into recovery for TWRP in the "Unmodified System Partition" . Please Help, thanks.
Edit: Should I delete the TWRP disk image from my pc? (My phone also keeps vibrating while turned off). I have also noticed that there is a non physical home back and menue button, did I download the wrong version? I used the TWRP app to download and flash the image.
Hi,
Download the latest image or tar from here: https://dl.twrp.me/jfltexx/ and flash it with either Odin or Heimdall.
Not quite sure about the notice, is it on the screen that asks you if you want to keep the system partition read-only? Then you either need to swipe or click ok.
Normally flashing a recovery should not produce the problems you are describing, did you only flash the recovery?

[HELP] S8 Stuck at boot Screen

Hey guys,
I really need your help. I have done an update of my twrp. My phone is rooted.
Now after it the phone stucks at the boot logo "Samsung Galaxy S8 powered by Android".
The hotkey combination for booting to Recovery does not work; nothing happens. The hotkey combination for download mode works.
I tried applying TWRP via Odin; nothing changed. What can I do? I don't want to lose all data
- skrippi
EDIT:
Problem solved: TWRP Version twrp-3.1.1-2-dreamlte.img.tar seems to be broken. DOwngraded via odin and it works again!
flash stock rom through odin then flash twrp. yes you will lose your data this is why it is advisable to keep a backup.

anyways i can get my files out?

so last night i decided to flash ÆON kernel on my h-rom s20 port and after flashing it and booting it was stuck at the boot logo so i tried going back to my recovery and it boot looped so i went in download mode and decided to flash twrp again but odin was stuck at setting up connection so i asked bout it in another place and they told me to flash stock rom so i tried that and it failed then i tried to reboot and instead of boot logo i saw this
"an error has occurred while updating the device software. use the emergency recovery function in the smart switch pc software."
so i did that and since it was custom rom suprise suprise it said unsupported device
all i need from this phone now is my data
