Need help returning to stock - X Style (Pure) Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hello guys,
I have the XT1572 RetEU version of the phone (Moto X Style). Before messing with the ROM I had taken the official Nougat update (7.0.0 NPHS25.200-15-8) so I have the latest bootloader. I then unlocked the bootloader and flashed TWRP, LineageOS (official), and the MM modem from this post.
Now I want to flash back to the stock Nougat ROM because I don't like the audio quality in LineageOS.
From what I can gather flashing the stock Marshmallow ROM won't work now because I have the Nougat bootloader. I cannot seem to find a stock Nougat ROM for this variant of the phone.
UPDATE:
I stumbled upon the latest official firmware for the XT1572 RetEU variant in this thread. I followed the Yandex link and downloaded the latest firmware named CLARK_RETEU_7.0_NPHS25.200-15-8_cid7_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.xml.zip.
I then followed the exact steps from this thread including the custom logo to mask the "bootloader unlocked" screen from this thread.
Everything works smoothly and the "bootloader unlocked" screen is hidden even though my bootloader is still unlocked.

Original post updated. I made it.

[Q] Bootloader on 6.0.1 update

As ive read, when the S5 gets updated to marshmallow the bootloader is updated too. Now im on 5.0 rom and using dualboot to boot CM13 also. Would I be able to boot those AOSP/CM roms again with this updated bootloader too? To be clear, im asking if i can still boot those custom roms (marshmallow not lollipop) even after the bootloader update. The update appeared today so im asking before updating.
Thanks
Starting from CM13 nighty 20160524, the MM bootloader is supported. I don't know regarding any other AOSP ROM.

Can I safely flash back to stock Marshmallow?

My Moto G4 came with Marshmallow installed and I performed an OTA update to Nougat. I then unlocked my bootloader and flashed some custom Nougat ROMs (7.1.2, so newer than the newest official available version). Now I want to get back to stock Nougat so I can relock the bootloader and all that jazz.
As far as I can tell, only Marshmallow firmware images are available so can I safely flash that (I'm thinking "ATHENE_MPJ24.139-23.4_cid50_subsidy-DEFAULT_CFC.zip") and then OTA to Nougat from there or will that cause problems because I already (presumably) have the Nougat bootloader version? I don't want to brick my phone!
Note I'm using a retail United Kingdom XT1622 Moto G4.
Cheers all in advance,
treela
Ah ha! Found this:

Got back to stock Marshmallow all OK
flashing back to marshmallow and being able to relock the bootloader after doing the ota wont really work. best bet is to try and find the stock nougat image and flash it.

full brick moto g4

Hey guys, I have a moto g4 (Xt 1622) 2 days ago I have reflashed a rom.... but When I do the update to Android 7.0.1 There were an hard brick...I followed this link : https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/help/solved-unbrick-hard-bricked-dead-t3585016 But i have relocked my bootloader....so I don't have OS and I didn't activate "oem unlock"
Sorry for my bad English thanks a lot
Just to clarify:
What stock ROM did you use to re-lock your bootloader? Normally, you can only re-lock your bootloader by flashing and locking with stock firmware as new or newer than your bootloader, so I'm not entirely clear how you managed to hard brick with a locked bootloader (locked bootloaders generally require your device to be on the same firmware patch level).
Have you tried the blankflash here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/moto-g4-plus-hardbrick-solved-guide-t3657761 You may have to try flashing with the September 2017 stock firmware here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/how-to/stock-rom-npjs25-93-14-4-march-1-t3608138

Seems like you flashed the wrong firmware maybe? You flashed so much that it's hard to reproduce without the exact file names of the firmware...
Edit: OK you posted here too https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4-plus/help/help-g4-plus-xt1643-network-issue-t3735372

Upgrading from Oreo stock rooted to Pie stock

I'm rooted with unlocked bootloaders. I've oreo stock and I'd like to upgrade to pie stock through an official firmware (released by LG). I wonder which is the correct sequence for not breaking the smartphone: do I have to lock the bootloaders again ? And what about the twrp now installed ? And what should I do to be rooted again ?
To be pointed to a guide would be fantastic!!!
