VoLTE lost by flashing Cleanmax rom and bootloader locked again - Asus Zenfone Max Questions & Answers

(solution has been found)
Hey everyone, i recently flashed the cleanmax rom and i lost my volte for ever.
So after this incident, i thought i must flash the stock rom using fastboot. :it didnot work:
so i deep flash the rom using edl mode and guess what i lost the imei, serial no. and my bootloader got locked again.and i got the lollipop rom.
i somehow manage to write the imei and serial no. and updated my rom to mm.But now i cannot unlock my bootloader again. And volte is still not working anybody please help i am a broke person and i cannot buy a new phone.please please help

Solution has been found. What i did was just recover the imei an serial no and then flashed the marshmallow beta version which allowed me to flash twrp and then i finally flashed the aim rom and then flashed the indian moden in 8196 and voilla volte started working. This method took me around a month

No WIFI on MM roms G900V Unlocked Bootloader.

Hi, I have recently rooted and bootloader unlocked a G900V and it works fine on Lollipop roms, but when the device is flashed with a MM rom via TWRP or Flashfire the Wifi wont work. IDK what is up with this. Maybe it has something to do with the baseband or whatnot, I'm out of ideas so I have to bug you guys for help, thanks in advance!
A little more Info I'm on PF4 baseband. Tried the Note5 port rom, the BS free rom and a deodexed debloated MM rom and all have no wifi. Ive tried the phoenix kernel, still no go. Tried flashing the PD1 baseband as its another MM baseband and it didnt take (via odin or TWRP ¯\_(ツ)_/¯) . So idk why flashing basebands doesn't work, maybe it'd solve my problem.
By using Getex's [GUIDE] Unlocking the Galaxys S5 Bootloader using DEV Bootloader [KK-MM]
and following the bottom subsection (If You Already Have Bootloader Unlocked And On A Samsung TW Rom) I was able to fix the problem.
Nice! Thanks GETEX!

I managed to fix this problem but not on stock rom.
I had the same issue, i flashed Pixelexperience and found that imei were back.
Problem is only on stock rom.
And if you are not getting 4g on Pixelexperience go ahead and flash the modem files
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
fastboot erase modemst1
fastboot erase modemst2

Volte isn't going to work anymore. Switch to airtel.
I found another temporal solution to get back the imei in stock rom.
Wee need:
- TWRP 3.2.1
- This flashable stock rom: http://www.mediafire.com/file/79spjgvj7eklr4g/potter_NPNS25.137-15-11_sdat4.zip
steps:
- Flash a custom 8.1 rom(i tested with Pixel Experience).
- Backup the EFS file*
- Wipe Davilk, System, Data, Cache.
- Flash flashable stock rom with TWRP.
- Restore the EFS file.
- Reboot and we got back the imei.
* Note that first we need to start the flashed Pixel Experience Rom(and get signal i think too), restart recovery and then make the backup of the EFS file, cause i made the backup without starting, flashed the stock and restored the EFS file, imei was not.
UPDATE: You also can do it with any stock rom. In this form you only need to flash the twrp and restore the EFS file or flash the rom via fastboot, flash twrp and restore the EFS file.

Build No. Of Stock ROM you flashed?
I made a quick guide to obtain IMEI and 4g again, even on stock rom with bootloader relocked. This worked for me, just give it a try.

here is a working solution but if u flash stock rom again u will loose the imei and network again so i recommend staying on any android 8.1 rom for now but atleast u will have imei and network back dont use his download files because they are for the cedric G5 try find the exct files but for the G5 plus they should be on the g5 plus development section of this xda site
I tried to installbpixel experience rom but twrp error 225

Seems like you flashed the wrong firmware maybe? You flashed so much that it's hard to reproduce without the exact file names of the firmware...
