Help! twrp not loading!

I just used this method
""Enter the following commands to flash TWRP Recovery on your tablet:
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash recovery openrecovery-twrp-2.2.1-grouper.img
TWRP Recovery will then be flashed on your Nexus 7.
You will also get a “Finish/Okay” message at the command prompt. Type this command to reboot your tablet:
fastboot reboot
To enter TWRP Recovery, switch off your tablet. Press and hold the Volume Up, Volume Down, and Power buttons together.""
to install twrp on my nexus 7(rooted and unlocked with stock ROM).
It went well but when i try to boot it into recovery mode from bootloader, its just stuck a the google symbol screen.
I tried an alternative, using goo manager. when i reboot it using goomanager, it goes into twrp but not when i manually reboot the device and go into bootloader mode... Please help!!!!!
There's a bug in the boot loader that requires you to be plugged into a computer to access recovery.

as previously mentioned, there is a bug.
I can boot into TWRP via hold Power button -> Reboot -> Recovery, if your ROM [stock rom?] does not have this, download ROM Toolbox on Play Store, and select "Rebooter" on the bottom, and "Reboot recovery"
Or I think you can use Terminal Emulator, and type
# su
# reboot recovery
that should work too..
or you can just plug it into a computer
Thanks a butt load!!!!!!!!!!
I also think goomanager or rom manager has a bug that it wont let me power on my tablet unless i hold the power button down for 10 seconds. I remove those apps then all is fine.

Hi,
it seems to be that your boot.img is faulty.
Put your device in bootloader (fastboot) mode.
Download the ROM which you wanted to install ,again and grab the boot.img and the recovery.img (if there is one)
Open ADB:
Type in: adb devices
adb reboot bootloader
fastboot flash boot.img
When it is complete , type this command in to flash recovery.img (if there is one)
fastboot flash recovery.img
Doesn't matter if your device don't start correctly , you will be able to get in recovery and flash the rom again.

twrp problem

Hi,
I have a problem with my device. My device has root (check by rootchecker) an the twrp manager says that the twrp recovery is installed but I can not go into the recovery. If I hold the buttons volume up and power I just come into the fastboot mode.
The problem starts as I start an update by ota.
Can anybody give me a solution?
Thank you.

Turn off the phone. Press vol down and power together till you see anything on the screen and let only power go pressing the vol down further.
You could re-flash TWRP.
1. Boot phone into fastboot mode (volume-up+power button)
2. Connect to PC (make sure drivers and fastboot are installed)
3. If you havn't already download the appropiate version of TWRP.
4. Navigate to the TWRP file and rename it recovery.img then open a command prompt there
5. Type fastboot device to make sure your device is recognized then type "fastboot flash recovery recovery.img" without quotes then boot into recovery by typing "fastboot boot recovery.img" also without quotes
Thank you for your help, but it was a brick. I found a solution on YouTube and on this site. Greetings

Fastboot Screen & no reboot into Recovery from System

Hy,
after install some CM13 builds i see that the Fastboot Screen thats normaly only Black screen with Fastboot OEM now changed into CM Menue.
First question how i can bring back into original Fastboot Black screen.?
The second problem is that i cant boot into recovery or bootloader from Android System. I press/hold Power then i can choose recovery or bootloader, after restart automatically system restarts....
As Recovery i flashed TWRP.
When i start the Phone by pressing Vol + and Power i can go into recovery, ( this way works )
at the moment i use the original Stock ROM because the CM Builds seems not working fine with my Bluetooth in Skoda/ VW Radio.
When in fastboot do
" fastboot boot twrp-xxxx-kipper-xxxx.img "
it should boot to twrp. instead of writing filename, write fastboot boot (SPACE) and drag the TWRP file to command window. After pressing ENTER you will get twrp. Do a factory reset and flash COS 12.1.1 zip file. If you need i can give you link to it

Unable to install twrp in redmi 2

So, I followed anandmore's thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/redmi-2/how-to/ultimate-guide-redmi-2-users-rooting-to-t3294212:
I did following commands in fastboot mode -
fastboot devices
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
fastboot reboot
But after rebooting, it gets stuck on MI logo. What should I do?
Can you get into recovery? I don't remeber what button combination it is on stock rom, but on custom is it VOL UP + VOL DOWN + POWER, when phone light up, release power button and keep holding the volume buttons
The commands you need are
fastboot devices (for recognise the device)
fastboot flash recovery file.img (you can change the name file if you want, to be easy)
fastboot boot file.img (this command is necessary for the first boot into the new recovery flashed)
You need open the CMD ADB/Fastboot in the same file folder with the recovery.img, if not, not works
Hi, I had the same as you. You need to press the buttons as the other user said (volume up + down + power), when the phone is off. And hold them until you see twrp.
(FYI, the phone will boot with miui logo, then it takes maybe 15-30seconds to show twrp, you need to hold all the time I think, until twrp shows).
Thank you B.Paiter !!
"fastboot boot file.img (this command is necessary for the first boot into the new recovery flashed)" did it for me !
